As long as a symlink inode remains in-core, the destination (and
therefore size) will not be re-fetched from the server, as it cannot
change. The original implementation of the attribute cache assumed that
setting the expiry time in the past was sufficient to cause a re-fetch
of all attributes on the next getattr. That does not work in this case.
The bug manifested itself as follows. When the command sequence
touch foo; ln -s foo bar; ls -l bar
is run, the output was
lrwxrwxrwx. 1 fedora fedora 4906 Apr 24 19:10 bar -> foo
However, after a re-mount, ls -l bar produces
lrwxrwxrwx. 1 fedora fedora 3 Apr 24 19:10 bar -> foo
After this commit, even before a re-mount, the output is
lrwxrwxrwx. 1 fedora fedora 3 Apr 24 19:10 bar -> foo

Now the superblock block size is PAGE_SIZE. The inode block size is
PAGE_SIZE for directories and symlinks, but is the server-reported
block size for regular files.
The block size in the OrangeFS private inode is now deleted. Stat
now reports PAGE_SIZE for directories and symlinks and the
server-reported block size for regular files.
The user-space visible change is that the block size for directores
and symlinks and the superblock is now PAGE_SIZE rather than the size of
the client-core shared memory buffers, which was typically four
megabytes.

The USB and PCIE pipe clocks are sourced from external clocks
inside the QMP USB/PCIE PHYs. Enabling or disabling of PIPE RCG
clocks is dependent on PHY initialization sequence hence
update halt_check to BRANCH_HALT_SKIP for these clocks so
that clock status bit is not polled when enabling or disabling
the clocks. It allows to simplify PHY client driver code which
is both user and source of the pipe_clk and avoid error logging
related status check on clk_disable/enable.

In the current process, the multicast MAC is added to both MAC_VLAN
table and MTA table, this will reduce the utilization of the resource.
This patch improves the process of adding multicast MAC address, the
new process starts using the MTA table to add multicast MAC after the
MAC_VLAN table is full, and the MTA is disable if it is no longer used.

when skb->encapsulation is 0, skb->ip_summed is CHECKSUM_PARTIAL
and it is udp packet, which has a dest port as the IANA assigned.
the hardware is expected to do the checksum offload, but the
hardware will not do the checksum offload when udp dest port is
4789.
This patch fixes it by doing the checksum in software.

There is a break missing in the switch/case handling in
hclge_misc_irq_handle, which causes the log to output
uncorrectly.
This patch adds the missing break, and change the dev_dbg
to dev_warn in order to better catch the error.

When resetting, phy_state_machine may be accessing the phy through
firmware if the phy is not stopped or disconnected, which will
cause firemware timeout problem because the firmware is busy
processing the reset request.
This patch fixes it by disabling the phy when resetting.

When hardware sends the HCLGE_VECTOR0_EVENT_RST event through
hclge_misc_irq_handle, currently driver enables misc_vector in
the interrupt handle, and hardware generates the same interrupt
for the same reset event again and again until the reset is
complete, which causes hclge_reset running repeatly problem.
This patch fixes by enabling the misc_vector after reset is
complete.

When hclge_ae_stop is called during resetting, it will cancel the
service_task by calling cancel_work_sync, which may cause the
service_task to exit without clearing HCLGE_STATE_SERVICE_SCHED
bit. If this happens, the service_task will never run again.
This patch fixes this problem by clearing it after calling
cancel_work_sync in hclge_ae_stop.

When doing function reset or insmod hns3 dirver after rmmod,
the entries of mac vlan table are not cleared, which may cause
init mac address failed. This patch fixes it by clearing the
old mac address when doing function reset or rmmod hns3 driver.

This is only 128 entries for hardware's vf vlan table, when
the vf table is full, the firmware will disable the vf vlan
filter and return a resp_code of HCLGE_VF_VLAN_NO_ENTRY to
driver.
This patch checks the if resp_code from firmware is
HCLGE_VF_VLAN_NO_ENTRY, if yes, then print a warning and
return ok to the caller.

The log entry dentries are only set, never referenced, so no need to
keep them around. Remove the pointer from struct
vchiq_debugfs_log_entry as it is not needed anymore and get rid of the
separate vchiq_debugfs_create_log_entries() function as it is only used
in one place.

This structure, and the one static variable that was declared with it,

set, but never used again. So just remove it entirely as it is not

This does not need to be part of a wrapper function, or in a structure,
just properly reference it directly as a single variable.

vchiq_debugfs_top() is only a wrapper around a pointer to a dentry, so
just use the dentry directly instead, making it a static variable
instead of part of a static structure.
This also removes the pointless BUG_ON() when checking that dentry as no
one should ever care if debugfs is working or not, and the kernel should
really not panic over something as trivial as that.

When calling debugfs functions, there is no need to ever check the
return value. The function can work or not, but the code logic should
never do something different based on this.
Clean up the vchiq_arm code by not caring about the value of debugfs
calls. This ends up removing a number of lines of code that are not
needed.

There's no bus infrastructure today to handle all the mmagic bus
clocks and GDSCs needed by all the multimedia blocks in msm8996, like
mdss, video, camera and gpu. Mark all these clocks with a CLK_IS_CRITICAL
and GDSCs with a ALWAYS_ON flag for now so they are left always enabled.
This patch should be reverted at some point when we do have a bus driver
to manage these clocks and GDSCs.

We have atleast some instances of ALWAYS_ON gdscs, which need to
be turned ON *before* some clocks within the gdsc domain marked
with a CLK_IS_CRITICAL can be turned ON.
To facilitate this sequence, register the GDCSs (and hence handle
the ALWAYS_ON gdscs) before we register clocks (and handle the
clocks marked as CLK_IS_CRITICAL)

Some GDSCs might have software control to turn them off, but we might
want to keep them enabled always, in some cases because of lack of
support in kernel to handle a graceful turning off/on of such GDSCs.
Most common instances would be the GDCSs which power up the noc/bus
fabrics, which need bus drivers to handle them and atleast support for
which is missing on all qcom SoCs.

Offloading of mirror-to-gretap in mlxsw is tricky especially in cases
when the gretap underlay involves bridges. Add more tests that exercise
the bridge handling code:
- forbidden_egress tests that check vlan removal on bridge port in the
underlay packet path
- untagged_egress tests that similarly check "egress untagged"
- fdb_roaming tests that check whether learning FDB on a different port
is reflected
- stp tests for handling port STP status of bridge egress port

Rename test_gretap_forbidden() and test_ip6gretap_forbidden() to a more
specific test_gretap_forbidden_cpu() and test_ip6gretap_forbidden_cpu().
This will make it clearer which is which when further down a patch is
introduced that forbids a VLAN on regular bridge port.

The "ip6gretap" in the test name refers to the tunnel device type that
the test is supposed to be testing. However test_ip6gretap_forbidden()

When the VLAN capture is installed on a front panel device and not a
soft device, the packets are counted twice: once in fast path, and once
after they are trapped to the kernel. Resolve the problem by passing
skip_hw flag to vlan_capture_install().

Move the function do_test_span_vlan_dir_ips() from mirror_vlan.sh test
to a library file mirror_lib.sh to allow reuse. Fill in other entry

Testing Telit LM940 with ICMP packets > 14552 bytes revealed that
the modem needs FLAG_SEND_ZLP to properly work, otherwise the cdc
mbim data interface won't be anymore responsive.

After commit f6cc9c054e77, the following conf is broken (note that the
default loopback mtu is 65536, ie IP_MAX_MTU + 1):
$ ip tunnel add gre1 mode gre local 10.125.0.1 remote 10.125.0.2 dev lo
add tunnel "gre0" failed: Invalid argument
$ ip l a type dummy
$ ip l s dummy1 up
$ ip l s dummy1 mtu 65535
$ ip tunnel add gre1 mode gre local 10.125.0.1 remote 10.125.0.2 dev dummy1
add tunnel "gre0" failed: Invalid argument
dev_set_mtu() doesn't allow to set a mtu which is too large.
First, let's cap the mtu returned by ip_tunnel_bind_dev(). Second, remove
the magic value 0xFFF8 and use IP_MAX_MTU instead.
0xFFF8 seems to be there for ages, I don't know why this value was used.
With a recent kernel, it's also possible to set a mtu > IP_MAX_MTU:
$ ip l s dummy1 mtu 66000
After that patch, it's also possible to bind an ip tunnel on that kind of
interface.
