Inside netns owned by non-init userns, sysctls about ARP/neighbor is
currently not visible and configurable.
For the attributes these sysctls correspond to, any modifications make
effects on the performance of networking(ARP, especilly) only in the
scope of netns, which does not affect other netns.
Actually, some tools via netlink can modify these attribute. iproute2 is
an example. see as follows:

The checks performed by commit aed9d65ac327 ("USB: validate
wMaxPacketValue entries in endpoint descriptors") require that initial
value of the maxp variable contains both maximum packet size bits
(10..0) and multiple-transactions bits (12..11). However, the existing
code assings only the maximum packet size bits. This patch assigns all
bits of wMaxPacketSize to the variable.

Under some conditions, USB gadget devices can show allocated buffer
contents to a host. Fix this up by zero-allocating them so that any
extra data will all just be zeros.

Sometimes USB hosts can ask for buffers that are too large from endpoint
0, which should not be allowed. If this happens for OUT requests, stall
the endpoint, but for IN requests, trim the request size to the endpoint
buffer size.

The motivation for introducing bpf_strncmp() helper comes from
two aspects:
(1) clang doesn't always replace strncmp() automatically
In tracing program, sometimes we need to using a home-made
strncmp() to check whether or not the file name is expected.
(2) the performance of home-made strncmp is not so good
As shown in the benchmark in patch #4, the performance of
bpf_strncmp() helper is 18% or 33% better than home-made strncmp()
under x86-64 or arm64 when the compared string length is 64. When
the string length grows to 4095, the performance win will be
179% or 600% under x86-64 or arm64.

Add benchmark to compare the performance between home-made strncmp()
in bpf program and bpf_strncmp() helper. In summary, the performance
win of bpf_strncmp() under x86-64 is greater than 18% when the compared
string length is greater than 64, and is 179% when the length is 4095.
Under arm64 the performance win is even bigger: 33% when the length
is greater than 64 and 600% when the length is 4095.

The helper compares two strings: one string is a null-terminated
read-only string, and another string has const max storage size
but doesn't need to be null-terminated. It can be used to compare
file name in tracing or LSM program.

libbpf's obj->nr_programs includes static and global functions. That number
could be higher than the actual number of bpf programs going be loaded by
gen_loader. Passing larger nr_programs to bpf_gen__init() doesn't hurt. Those
exra stack slots will stay as zero. bpf_gen__finish() needs to check that
actual number of progs that gen_loader saw is less than or equal to
obj->nr_programs.

Pull xfs fix from Darrick Wong:
"This fixes a race between a readonly remount process and other
processes that hold a file IOLOCK on files that previously experienced
copy on write, that could result in severe filesystem corruption if
the filesystem is then remounted rw.
I think this is fairly rare (since the only reliable reproducer I have
that fits the second criteria is the experimental xfs_scrub program),
but the race is clear, so we still need to fix this.
Summary:
- Fix a data corruption vector that can result from the ro remount
process failing to clear all speculative preallocations from files
and the rw remount process not noticing the incomplete cleanup"

An error timestamp shows the last known timestamp for the queue, but this
is not updated on the error path. Fix by setting it.

FUP packets contain IP information, which makes them also an 'instruction'
event in 'hop' mode i.e. the itrace 'q' option. That wasn't happening, so
restructure the logic so that FUP events are added along with appropriate
'instruction' and 'branch' events.

An overflow (OVF packet) is treated as an error because it represents a
loss of trace data, but there is no loss of synchronization, so the packet
state should be INTEL_PT_STATE_IN_SYNC not INTEL_PT_STATE_ERR_RESYNC.
To support that, some additional variables must be reset, and the FUP
packet that may follow OVF is treated as an FUP event.

intel_pt_fup_event() assumes it can overwrite the state type if there has
been an FUP event, but this is an unnecessary and unexpected constraint on
callers.
Fix by touching only the state type flags that are affected by an FUP
event.

When syncing, it may be that branch packet generation is not enabled at
that point, in which case there will not immediately be a control-flow
packet, so some packets before a control flow packet turns up, get
ignored. However, the decoder is in sync as soon as a PSB is found, so
the state should be set accordingly.

Packet generation enable (PGE) refers to whether control flow (COFI)
packets are being produced.
PGE may be false even when branch-tracing is enabled, due to being
out-of-context, or outside a filter address range. Fix some missing PGE
usage.

The size of the cache of register values is arch-dependant
(PERF_REGS_MAX). This has the potential of causing an out-of-bounds
access in the function "perf_reg_value" if the local architecture
contains less registers than the one the perf.data file was recorded on.
Since the maximum number of registers is bound by the bitmask "u64
cache_mask", and the size of the cache when running under x86 systems is
64 already, fix the size to 64 and add a range-check to the function
"perf_reg_value" to prevent out-of-bounds access.

Ethtool ring feature has _max_pending attributes read-only.
Set only read-write attributes in nsim_set_ringparam.
This patch is useful, if netdevsim device is set-up using NetworkManager,
because NetworkManager sends 0 as MAX values, as it is pointless to
retrieve them in extra call, because they should be read-only. Then,
the device is left in incosistent state (value > MAX).

KMSAN reported a kernel-infoleak [1], that can exploited
by unpriv users.
After analysis it turned out UDP was not initializing
r->idiag_expires. Other users of inet_sk_diag_fill()
might make the same mistake in the future, so fix this
in inet_sk_diag_fill().

Ethernet frames can be extracted or injected autonomously to or from
the device’s DDR3/DDR3L memory and/or PCIe memory space. Linked list
data structures in memory are used for injecting or extracting Ethernet
frames. The FDMA generates interrupts when frame extraction or
injection is done and when the linked lists need updating.
The FDMA is shared between all the ethernet ports of the switch and
uses a linked list of descriptors (DCB) to inject and extract packets.
Before adding descriptors, the FDMA channels must be stopped. It would
be inefficient to do that each time a descriptor would be added so the
channels are restarted only once they stopped.
Both channels uses ring-like structure to feed the DCBs to the FDMA.
head and tail are never touched by hardware and are completely handled
by the driver. On top of that, page recycling has been added and is
mostly taken from gianfar driver.

This commit adds support for changing MTU for the ocelot register based
interface. For ocelot, JUMBO frame size can be set up to 25000 bytes
but has been set to 9000 which is a saner value and allows for maximum
gain of performance with FDMA.

In order to support PTP in FDMA, PTP handling code is needed. Since
this is the same as for register-based extraction, export it with
a new ocelot_ptp_rx_timestamp() function.

FDMA will need this code to prepare the injection frame header when
sending SKBs. Move this code into ocelot_ifh_port_set() and add
conditional IFH setting for vlan and rew op if they are not set.

If there is no active IP session (interface up & running) then
release the data channel.
Use nr_sessions variable to track current active IP sessions.
If the count drops to 0, then send pipe close ctrl message to
release the data channel.

The BR-series installation guide from https://driverdownloads.qlogic.com/
mentions the cards support 10Gbase-SR/LR as well as direct attach cables.
The cards only have SFP+ ports, so 10000baseT is not the right mode.
Switch to using more specific link modes added in commit 5711a98221443
("net: ethtool: add support for 1000BaseX and missing 10G link modes").
Only compile tested.
