2019-03-01ipvs: change some data types from int to boolAndrea Claudi
Change the data type of the following variables from int to bool across ipvs code: - found - loop - need_full_dest - need_full_svc - payload_csum Also change the following functions to use bool full_entry param instead of int: - ip_vs_genl_parse_dest() - ip_vs_genl_parse_service() This patch does not change any functionality but makes the source code slightly easier to read. 2019-03-01PCI: dwc: skip MSI init if MSIs have been explicitly disabledLucas Stach
Since 7c5925afbc58 (PCI: dwc: Move MSI IRQs allocation to IRQ domains hierarchical API) the MSI init claims one of the controller IRQs as a chained IRQ line for the MSI controller. On some designs, like the i.MX6, this line is shared with a PCIe legacy IRQ. When the line is claimed for the MSI domain, any device trying to use this legacy IRQs will fail to request this IRQ line. As MSI and legacy IRQs are already mutually exclusive on the DWC core, as the core won't forward any legacy IRQs once any MSI has been enabled, users wishing to use legacy IRQs already need to explictly disable MSI support (usually via the pci=nomsi kernel commandline option). To avoid any issues with MSI conflicting with legacy IRQs, just skip all of the DWC MSI initalization, including the IRQ line claim, when MSI is disabled. 2019-03-01PCI: hv: Replace hv_vp_set with hv_vpsetMaya Nakamura
Remove a duplicate definition of VP set (hv_vp_set) and use the common definition (hv_vpset) that is used in other places. Change the order of the members in struct hv_pcibus_device so that the declaration of retarget_msi_interrupt_params is the last member. Struct hv_vpset, which contains a flexible array, is nested two levels deep in struct hv_pcibus_device via retarget_msi_interrupt_params. 2019-03-01PCI: mediatek: Enlarge PCIe2AHB window size to support 4GB DRAMHonghui Zhang
The PCIE_AXI_WINDOW0 register defines the inbound window size for requests coming from PCI endpoints. Requests outside of this window will be treated as unsupported requests. Enlarge this window size from 2^31 to 2^33 to support a 8GB address space (which gives endpoints DMA access to full 4GB DRAM address range - physical DRAM starts at 0x40000000). 2019-03-01PCI: mediatek: Fix memory mapped IO range size computationHonghui Zhang
Mediatek's HW assigns a MMIO address range (typically starts from 0x20000000 to 0x2fffffff for both mt2712 and mt7622) for PCI usage. This MMIO address space represents the address space that can be allocated to PCI devices through Base Address Registers. Even though the full MMIO address range is available to be allocated, it should be enabled by the PCIE_AHB_TRANS_BASE register in the host controller and the size that is enabled is determined by AHB2PCIE_SIZE bits in this register. Owing to a bug in the MMIO window size computation, current code does not enable the full size of the available MMIO address range in the PCI host controller; if the PCI devices BARs requested size exceeds the size enabled through the PCIE_AHB_TRANS_BASE register the requests targeting the disabled address address space will be blocked by the root complex causing a system error. Existing code has never run into a system error in production because even half of the enabled MMIO range (128MB) is big enough for typical devices BAR requests (4MB) but the full MMIO address range should be enabled regardless. Fix the MMIO window size computation by using resource_size(mem) instead of mem->end - mem->start. Since the MMIO window size for both MT2712 and MT7622 is 0x10000000, this change will update the parameter passed to fls() from 0xfffffff to 0x10000000 and calculate the whole memory mapped IO range size correctly. 2019-03-01gpio: pca953x: Fix dereference of irq data in shutdownMark Walton
If a PCA953x gpio was used as an interrupt and then released, the shutdown function was trying to extract the pca953x_chip pointer directly from the irq_data, but in reality was getting the gpio_chip structure. The net effect was that the subsequent writes to the data structure corrupted data in the gpio_chip structure, which wasn't immediately obvious until attempting to use the GPIO again in the future, at which point the kernel panics. This fix correctly extracts the pca953x_chip structure via the gpio_chip structure, as is correctly done in the other irq functions. 2019-03-01iommu/vt-d: Disable ATS support on untrusted devicesLu Baolu
Commit fb58fdcd295b9 ("iommu/vt-d: Do not enable ATS for untrusted devices") disables ATS support on the devices which have been marked as untrusted. Unfortunately this is not enough to fix the DMA attack vulnerabiltiies because IOMMU driver allows translated requests as long as a device advertises the ATS capability. Hence a malicious peripheral device could use this to bypass IOMMU. This disables the ATS support on untrusted devices by clearing the internal per-device ATS mark. As the result, IOMMU driver will block any translated requests from any device marked as untrusted. 2019-03-01mmc:fix a bug when max_discard is 0Jiong Wu
The original purpose of the code I fix is to replace max_discard with max_trim if max_trim is less than max_discard. When max_discard is 0 we should replace max_discard with max_trim as well, because max_discard equals 0 happens only when the max_do_calc_max_discard process is overflowed, so if mmc_can_trim(card) is true, max_discard should be replaced by an available max_trim. However, in the original code, there are two lines of code interfere the right process. 1) if (max_discard && mmc_can_trim(card)) when max_discard is 0, it skips the process checking if max_discard needs to be replaced with max_trim. 2) if (max_trim < max_discard) the condition is false when max_discard is 0. it also skips the process that replaces max_discard with max_trim, in fact, we should replace the 0-valued max_discard with max_trim. 2019-03-01btf: fix bug with resolving STRUCT/UNION into corresponding FWDAndrii Nakryiko
When checking available canonical candidates for struct/union algorithm utilizes btf_dedup_is_equiv to determine if candidate is suitable. This check is not enough when candidate is corresponding FWD for that struct/union, because according to equivalence logic they are equivalent. When it so happens that FWD and STRUCT/UNION end in hashing to the same bucket, it's possible to create remapping loop from FWD to STRUCT and STRUCT to same FWD, which will cause btf_dedup() to loop forever. This patch fixes the issue by additionally checking that type and canonical candidate are strictly equal (utilizing btf_equal_struct). Default size of dedup table (16k) is good enough for most binaries, even typical vmlinux images. But there are cases of binaries with huge amount of BTF types (e.g., allyesconfig variants of kernel), which benefit from having bigger dedup table size to lower amount of unnecessary hash collisions. Tools like pahole, thus, can tune this parameter to reach optimal performance. This change also serves double purpose of allowing tests to force hash collisions to test some corner cases, used in follow up patch. btf_dedup testing code doesn't account for length of struct btf_header when calculating the start of a string section. This patch fixes this problem. 2019-03-01Merge branch 'bpf-samples-improvements'Daniel Borkmann
Jakub Kicinski says: ==================== This set is next part of a quest to get rid of the bpf_load ELF loader. It fixes some minor issues with the samples and starts the conversion. First patch fixes ping invocations, ping localhost defaults to IPv6 on modern setups. Next load_sock_ops sample is removed and users are directed towards using bpftool directly. Patch 4 removes the use of bpf_load from samples which don't need the auto-attachment functionality at all. Patch 5 improves symbol counting in libbpf, it's not currently an issue but it will be when anyone adds a symbol with a long name. Let's make sure that person doesn't have to spend time scratching their head and wondering why .a and .so symbol counts don't match. v2: - specify prog_type where possible (Andrii). ==================== Acked-by: Song Liu <songliubraving@fb.com> Signed-off-by: Daniel Borkmann <daniel@iogearbox.net>
2019-03-01tools: libbpf: make sure readelf shows full names in build checksJakub Kicinski
readelf truncates its output by default to attempt to make it more readable. This can lead to function names getting aliased if they differ late in the string. Use --wide parameter to avoid truncation. 2019-03-01tools: libbpf: add a correctly named define for map iterationJakub Kicinski
For historical reasons the helper to loop over maps in an object is called bpf_map__for_each while it really should be called bpf_object__for_each_map. Older GCC (<4.8) isn't smart enough to optimize !__builtin_constant_p() branch in bpf_htons. I recently fixed it for pkt_v4 and pkt_v6 in commit a0517a0f7ef23 ("selftests/bpf: use __bpf_constant_htons in test_prog.c"), but later added another bunch of bpf_htons in commit bf0f0fd939451 ("selftests/bpf: add simple BPF_PROG_TEST_RUN examples for flow dissector").
