Set FILE_CREATED on O_CREAT|O_EXCL. If the NFS server honored our request for exclusivity then this must be correct. Currently this is a no-op, since the VFS sets FILE_CREATED anyway. The next patch will, however, require this flag to be always set by filesystems. 2013-09-16drm/i915: Add explicit pipe src size to pipe configVille Syrjälä
Rather that mess about with hdisplay/vdisplay from requested_mode, add explicit pipe src size information to pipe config. Now requested_mode is only really relevant for dvo/sdvo output timings. For everything else either adjusted_mode or pipe src size should be used. In many places where we end up using pipe source size, we should actually use the primary plane size, but we don't currently store that information explicitly. As long as we treat primaries as full screen only, we can get away with this. 2013-09-16drm/i915: Fix port_clock and adjusted_mode.clock readout all overVille Syrjälä
Now that adjusted_mode.clock no longer contains the pixel_multiplier, we can kill the get_clock() callback and instead do the clock readout in get_pipe_config(). Also i9xx_crtc_clock_get() can now extract the frequency of the PCH DPLL, so use it to populate port_clock accurately for PCH encoders. For DP in port A the encoder is still responsible for filling in port_clock. The FDI adjusted_mode.clock extraction is kept in place for some extra sanity checking, but we no longer need to pretend it's also the port_clock. In the encoder get_config() functions fill out adjusted_mode.clock based on port_clock and other details such as the DP M/N values, HDMI 12bpc and SDVO pixel_multiplier. For PCH encoders we will then do an extra sanity check to make sure the dotclock we derived from the FDI configuratiuon matches the one we derive from port_clock. DVO doesn't exist on PCH platforms, so it doesn't need to anything but assign adjusted_mode.clock=port_clock. This fixes a serious bug affecting all hash types with a net element - specifically, if a CIDR value is deleted such that none of the same size exist any more, all larger (less-specific) values will then fail to match. Adding back any prefix with a CIDR equal to or more specific than the one deleted will fix it. Steps to reproduce: ipset -N test hash:net ipset -A test 1.1.0.0/16 ipset -A test 2.2.2.0/24 ipset -T test 1.1.1.1 #1.1.1.1 IS in set ipset -D test 2.2.2.0/24 ipset -T test 1.1.1.1 #1.1.1.1 IS NOT in set This is due to the fact that the nets counter was unconditionally decremented prior to the iteration that shifts up the entries. Now, we first check if there is a proceeding entry and if not, decrement it and return. Otherwise, we proceed to iterate and then zero the last element, which, in most cases, will already be zero. 2013-09-16pstore: Adjust buffer size for compression for smaller registered buffersAruna Balakrishnaiah
When backends (ex: efivars) have smaller registered buffers, the big_oops_buf is too big for them as number of repeated occurences in the text captured will be less. What happens is that pstore takes too big a bite from the dmesg log and then finds it cannot compress it enough to meet the backend block size. Patch takes care of adjusting the buffer size based on the registered buffer size. cmpr values have been arrived after doing experiments with plain text for buffers of size 1k - 4k (Smaller the buffer size repeated occurence will be less) and with sample crash log for buffers ranging from 4k - 10k. This patch fixes sparse warnings when incorrectly handling the port number and using int instead of unsigned int iterating through &vn->sock_list[]. Keeping the port as __be16 also makes things clearer wrt endianess. Also, it was pointed out that vxlan_get_rx_port() had unnecessary checks which got removed.
