2014-08-17CIFS: Fix wrong directory attributes after renamePavel Shilovsky
When we requests rename we also need to update attributes of both source and target parent directories. Not doing it causes generic/309 xfstest to fail on SMB2 mounts. 2014-08-17CIFS: Fix SMB2 readdir error handlingPavel Shilovsky
SMB2 servers indicates the end of a directory search with STATUS_NO_MORE_FILE error code that is not processed now. This causes generic/257 xfstest to fail. Fix this by triggering the end of search by this error code in SMB2_query_directory. Also when negotiating CIFS protocol we tell the server to close the search automatically at the end and there is no need to do it itself. In the case of SMB2 protocol, we need to close it explicitly - separate close directory checks for different protocols. 2014-08-16net: phy: smsc: move smsc_phy_config_init reset part in a soft_reset functionGwenhael Goavec-Merou
On the one hand, phy_device.c provides a generic reset function if the phy driver does not provide a soft_reset pointer. This generic reset does not take into account the state of the phy, with a potential failure if the phy is in powerdown mode. On the other hand, smsc driver provides a function with both correct reset behaviour and configuration. This patch moves the reset part into a new smsc_phy_reset function and provides the soft_reset pointer to have a correct reset behaviour by default. 2014-08-16batman-adv: Fix parameter order of hlist_add_behindSven Eckelmann
1d023284c31a4e40a94d5bbcb7dbb7a35ee0bcbc ("list: fix order of arguments for hlist_add_after(_rcu)") was incorrectly rebased on top of d9124268d84a836f14a6ead54ff9d8eee4c43be5 ("batman-adv: Fix out-of-order fragmentation support"). The parameter order change of the rebased patch was not re-applied as expected. This causes a memory leak and can cause crashes when out-of-order packets are received. hlist_add_behind will try to access the uninitalized list pointers of frag_entry_new to find the previous/next entry and may modify/read random memory locations. 2014-08-16net: phy: bcm7xxx: re-advertise all supported modes out of suspendFlorian Fainelli
The BCM7xxx internal Gigabit PHYs on 28nm process platforms come out reset without any half-duplex or "hub" compatible advertised modes, which was causing auto-negotiation issues coming out of S3 suspend/resume, we just could not establish a link with a half-duplex only link partner. Make sure that the resume function properly re-configures the PHY device to advertise all supported modes. For many drivers which will support rich endianness of Devices need define DT properties by itself with the binding support. The endianness using regmap: Index Device Properties if needs bytes-swap, or just ignore it ------------------------------------------------------------- 1 BE 'big-endian' 2 LE 'little-endian' The properties include all the register values and the buffers. And these properties are very usful for the MMIO devices: Such as: a memory-mapped device, on one SoC is in BE mode, while in another SoC will be in LE mode, and the CPU will always in LE mode. For the first case, we must use cpu_to_be32/be32_to_cpu for 32-bit registers accessing, so the 'big-endian' property is needed. For the second case, we can just ignore the bytes-swap functions like cpu_to_le32/le32_to_cpu, so the 'little-endian' property could be abscent. And vice versa... This driver adds support for the built-in accelereometer found on recent Toshiba laptops with HID TOS620A. This driver receives ACPI notify events 0x80 when the sensor detects a sudden move or a harsh vibration, as well as an ACPI notify event 0x81 whenever the movement or vibration has been stabilized. Also provides sysfs entries to get/set the desired protection level and reseting the HDD protection interface.
