2011-03-07nfsd4: fix bad pointer on failure to find delegationJ. Bruce Fields
In case of a nonempty list, the return on error here is obviously bogus; it ends up being a pointer to the list head instead of to any valid delegation on the list. In particular, if nfsd4_delegreturn() hits this case, and you're quite unlucky, then renew_client may oops, and it may take an embarassingly long time to figure out why. Facepalm. 2011-03-07ext3: Always set dx_node's fake_dirent explicitly.Eric Sandeen
(crossport of 1f7bebb9e911d870fa8f997ddff838e82b5715ea by Andreas Schlick <schlick@lavabit.com>) When ext3_dx_add_entry() has to split an index node, it has to ensure that name_len of dx_node's fake_dirent is also zero, because otherwise e2fsck won't recognise it as an intermediate htree node and consider the htree to be corrupted. 2011-03-07Btrfs: deal with short returns from copy_from_userChris Mason
When copy_from_user is only able to copy some of the bytes we requested, we may end up creating a partially up to date page. To avoid garbage in the page, we need to treat a partial copy as a zero length copy. This makes the rest of the file_write code drop the page and retry the whole copy instead of marking the partially up to date page as dirty. 2011-03-07Btrfs: fix regressions in copy_from_user handlingChris Mason
Commit 914ee295af418e936ec20a08c1663eaabe4cd07a fixed deadlocks in btrfs_file_write where we would catch page faults on pages we had locked. But, there were a few problems: 1) The x86-32 iov_iter_copy_from_user_atomic code always fails to copy data when the amount to copy is more than 4K and the offset to start copying from is not page aligned. The result was btrfs_file_write looping forever retrying the iov_iter_copy_from_user_atomic We deal with this by changing btrfs_file_write to drop down to single page copies when iov_iter_copy_from_user_atomic starts returning failure. 2) The btrfs_file_write code was leaking delalloc reservations when iov_iter_copy_from_user_atomic returned zero. The looping above would result in the entire filesystem running out of delalloc reservations and constantly trying to flush things to disk. 3) btrfs_file_write will lock down page cache pages, make sure any writeback is finished, do the copy_from_user and then release them. Before the loop runs we check the first and last pages in the write to see if they are only being partially modified. If the start or end of the write isn't aligned, we make sure the corresponding pages are up to date so that we don't introduce garbage into the file. With the copy_from_user changes, we're allowing the VM to reclaim the pages after a partial update from copy_from_user, but we're not making sure the page cache page is up to date when we loop around to resume the write. We deal with this by pushing the up to date checks down into the page prep code. This fits better with how the rest of file_write works. 2011-03-07ASoC: Add driver for the dfbmcs320 bluetooth moduleLars-Peter Clausen
This patch adds a codec driver for the dfbmcs320 bluetooth module, which is used on the neo1973 boards. The patch also modifies the neo1937_wm8753 sound board driver to use the new driver instead of registering the bluetooth DAI manually. Previously there was a name mismatch between the bluetooth DAI and the bluetooth DAI link and the sound card was not instantiated, with this patch the issue is no longer present and sound support works again. 2011-03-07ASoC: Samsung: Merge neo1937_wm8753 and neo1973_gta02_wm8753 sound board driverLars-Peter Clausen
The neo1973(GTA01) and neo1973_gta02(GTA02) have a very similar audio hardware setup. They both use the same codec with the same routing to the gsm modem and bluetooth chip. But they do use different AMPs though and there are some minor differences in the speaker setup. As a result most of the code of those two drivers is identical. So from a maintenance point of view it makes sense to merge them into a single driver. It also reduces the size of kernel images supporting both the GTA01 and GTA02. As a side-effect of this merge the GTA01 for example gains support for routing audio to and from the bluetooth DAI. 2011-03-07ASoC: neo1973_gta02_wm8753: Remove lm4853_{set,get}_stateLars-Peter Clausen
This patch drops the lm4853_{set,get}_state functions and the "Amp State Switch" control. Those were noops which existed to maintain alsa state file compatibility. Since the control names have changed due to internal changes in the ASoC core and state file compatibility was broken anyway it makes sense to drop them. 2011-03-07ASoC: neo1973_wm8753: Move lm4857 specefic code to its own moduleLars-Peter Clausen

2011-03-07ASoC: neo1973_wm8753: Remove scenario management code.Lars-Peter Clausen
It has been proven to be inflexible to do scenario management in kernel space. Since actual neo1973 board support has not been merged in mainline and this patch has been in the neo1973 tree for some time now it should be safe to remove this functionality without breaking existing userspace. However, use of semaphores is a massive performance improvement... Only as long as the system remains stable. Enable at your peril.
