Ebtables on the OUTPUT chain (NF_BR_LOCAL_OUT) would not work as expected
for both locally generated IGMP and MLD queries. The IP header specific
filter options are off by 14 Bytes for netfilter (actual output on
interfaces is fine).
NF_HOOK() expects the skb->data to point to the IP header, not the
ethernet one (while dev_queue_xmit() does not). Luckily there is an
br_dev_queue_push_xmit() helper function already - let's just use that.

DRA7 CAN IP suffers from a problem which causes it to be prevented
from fully turning OFF (i.e. stuck in transition) if the module was
disabled while there was traffic on the CAN_RX line.
To work around this issue we select the SLEEP pin state by default
on probe and use the DEFAULT pin state on CAN up and back to the
SLEEP pin state on CAN down.

RAMINIT sequence i.e. START bit must be set and cleared before
checking for the DONE bit status.

Some TI SoCs like DRA7 have a RAMINIT register specification
different from the other AMxx SoCs and as expected by the
existing driver.
To add more insanity, this register is shared with other
IPs like DSS, PCIe and PWM.
Provides a more generic mechanism to specify the RAMINIT
register location and START/DONE bit position and use the
syscon/regmap framework to access the register.

We want to have more data than just can_dev_id to be present
in the driver data e.g. TI platforms need RAMINIT register
description. Introduce the c_can_driver_data structure and move
the can_dev_id into it.

TI's RAMINIT DONE mechanism is buggy on AM43xx SoC and may not always
be set after the START bit is set. Although it seems to work fine even
in that case. So add a timeout mechanism to c_can_hw_raminit_wait_ti().
Don't bail out in that failure case but just print an error message.

Make sure the netlink group exists, otherwise you can trigger an out
of bound array memory access from the netlink_bind() path. This splat

We can only use page_address on memory that has been mapped using kmap,
when the buffer passed to the SPI has been allocated by vmalloc the page
has not necessarily been mapped through kmap. This means sometimes
page_address will return NULL causing the pointer we pass to sg_set_buf
to be invalid.
As we only call page_address so that we can pass a virtual address to
sg_set_buf which will then immediately call virt_to_page on it, fix this
by calling sg_set_page directly rather then relying on the sg_set_buf
helper.

This patch moves the 802.15.4 constraints WPAN_NUM_ defines into
"net/ieee802154.h" which should contain all necessary 802.15.4 related
information. Also rename these defines to a common name which is
IEEE802154_MAX_CHANNEL and IEEE802154_MAX_PAGE.

This patch adds support for setting an extended address while
registration a new interface. If ieee802154_is_valid_extended_addr
getting as parameter and invalid extended address then the perm address
is fallback. This is useful to make some default handling while for
example default registration of a wpan interface while phy registration.

This parameter was grabbed from wireless implementation with the
identically wireless dev struct. We don't need this right now and so we
remove it. Maybe we will add it later again if we found any real reason
to have such parameter.

This patch replace the depracted IEEE802154_DEV to the new introduced
NL802154_IFTYPE_NODE types. There is a backwards compatibility to have
the identical types for both enum definitions. Also remove some inlcude
issue with "linux/nl802154.h", because the export nl_policy inside this
header it was always necessary to have an include of "net/rtnetlink.h"
before. The reason for this is more complicated. Nevertheless we removed
this now, because "linux/nl802154.h" is the depracted netlink interface.

The datasheet for PL330 says that the data buffer value in the CRD
register is 10bits wide. However, the value stored is "minus one",
which the driver corrects for. Maximum value that the data buffer
depth can have is 1024 lines, which requires 11 bits for storage.
While making updates I found printing the peripheral ID as a hex
value to be more useful as the datasheet shows the values that way.

The MFIFO is shared by all channels so restrict each memcpy to it's fair
share. This is being over cautious, but without a global view of DMA
channel usage on a system it's not possible to come up with a more
optimum safe limit.

The algorithm used for programming the DMA Controller doesn't take into
consideration the requirements of transfers that are not aligned to the
bus width. This failure may result in DMA transferring one too few MFIFO
entries (so too few bytes are copied) or the DMA trying to write one too
many MFIFO entries and hanging because this is never provided.
See "MFIFO Usage Overview" chapter in the the TRM for "CoreLink DMA
Controller DMA-330", Revision r1p1.
We work around these shortcomings by making sure we pick a burst size
and length which ensures no bursts straddle an MFIFO entry.

md_check_recovery will skip any recovery and also clear
MD_RECOVERY_NEEDED if MD_RECOVERY_FROZEN is set.
So when we clear _FROZEN, we must set _NEEDED and ensure that
md_check_recovery gets run.
Otherwise we could miss out on something that is needed.
In particular, this can make it impossible to remove a
failed device from an array is the 'recovery-needed' processing
didn't happen.
Suitable for stable kernels since 3.13.

mld_newpack() skb allocations are usually requested with dev->mtu
in size, since commit 72e09ad107e7 ("ipv6: avoid high order allocations")
we have changed the limit in order to be less likely to fail.
However, in MLD/IGMP code, we have some rather ugly AVAILABLE(skb)
macros, which determine if we may end up doing an skb_put() for
adding another record. To avoid possible fragmentation, we check
the skb's tailroom as skb->dev->mtu - skb->len, which is a wrong
assumption as the actual max allocation size can be much smaller.
The IGMP case doesn't have this issue as commit 57e1ab6eaddc
("igmp: refine skb allocations") stores the allocation size in
the cb[].
Set a reserved_tailroom to make it fit into the MTU and use
skb_availroom() helper instead. This also allows to get rid of
igmp_skb_size().

Hash algo (Toeplitz) is also well known and documented by Microsoft

Problem is that some drivers use a well known key.
It makes very easy for attackers to target one particular RX queue,
knowing that number of RX queues is a power of two, or at least some
small number.
Other drivers use a random value per port, making difficult
tuning on bonding setups.
Lets add a common infrastructure, so that host gets an unique
RSS key, and drivers do not have to worry about this.

Use of well known RSS key increases attack surface.
Switch to a random one, using generic helper so that all
ports share a common key.
Also provide ethtool -x support to fetch RSS key
