Add emulation to support Set Feature mailbox command to cxl_test.
The only feature supported is the device patrol scrub feature. The
set feature allows activation of patrol scrub for the cxl_test
emulated device. The command does not support partial data transfer
even though the spec allows it. This restriction is to reduce complexity
of the emulation given the patrol scrub feature is very minimal.

Add emulation of Get Feature command to cxl_test. The feature for
device patrol scrub is returned by the emulation code. This is
the only feature currently supported by cxl_test. It returns
the information for the device patrol scrub feature.

fwctl provides a fwctl_ops->fw_rpc() callback in order to issue ioctls
to a device. The cxl fwctl driver will start by supporting the CXL
Feature commands: Get Supported Features, Get Feature, and Set Feature.
The fw_rpc() callback provides 'enum fwctl_rpc_scope' parameter where
it indicates the security scope of the call. The Get Supported Features
and Get Feature calls can be executed with the scope of
FWCTL_RPC_CONFIGRATION. The Set Feature call is gated by the effects
of the Feature reported by Get Supported Features call for the specific
Feature.
Only "Get Supported Features" is supported in this patch. Additional
commands will be added in follow on patches. "Get Supported Features"
will filter the Features that are exclusive to the kernel. The flag
field of the Feature details will be cleared of the "Changeable"
field and the "set feat size" will be set to 0 to indicate that
the feature is not changeable.

Add fwctl support code to allow sending of CXL feature commands from
userspace through as ioctls via FWCTL. Provide initial setup bits. The
CXL PCI probe function will call devm_cxl_setup_fwctl() after the
cxl_memdev has been enumerated in order to setup FWCTL char device under
the cxl_memdev like the existing memdev char device for issuing CXL raw
mailbox commands from userspace via ioctls.

In the case of the following call stack for an atomic file,
FI_DIRTY_INODE is set, but FI_ATOMIC_DIRTIED is not subsequently set.
f2fs_file_write_iter
f2fs_map_blocks
f2fs_reserve_new_blocks
inc_valid_block_count
__mark_inode_dirty(dquot)
f2fs_dirty_inode
If FI_ATOMIC_DIRTIED is not set, atomic file can encounter corruption
due to a mismatch between old file size and new data.
To resolve this issue, I changed to set FI_ATOMIC_DIRTIED when
FI_DIRTY_INODE is set. This ensures that FI_DIRTY_INODE, which was
previously cleared by the Writeback thread during the commit atomic, is
set and i_size is updated.

syzbot warns about a potential deadlock, but this is a false positive
resulting from a missing lockdep annotation: iterate_dir() locks the
parent whereas the inode_lock() it warns about locks the child, which is
guaranteed to be a different lock.
So use inode_lock_nested() instead with the appropriate lock class.

The ASoC soc-utils driver does not require the creation of a platform
device. Originally, this approach was chosen for simplicity when the
driver was first implemented.
With the introduction of the lightweight faux device interface, we now
have a more appropriate alternative. Migrate the driver to utilize the
faux bus, given that the platform device it previously created was not
a real one anyway. This will simplify the code, reducing its footprint
while maintaining functionality.

The new option is CONFIG_NULL_TTY_DEFAULT_CONSOLE.
if enabled, and CONFIG_VT is disabled, ttynull will become the default
primary console device.
ttynull will be the only console device usually with this option enabled.
Some architectures do call add_preferred_console() which may add another
console though.
Motivation:
Many distributions ship with CONFIG_VT enabled. On tested desktop hardware
if CONFIG_VT is disabled, the default console device falls back to
/dev/ttyS0 instead of /dev/tty.
This could cause issues in user space, and hardware problems:
1. The user space issues include the case where /dev/ttyS0 is
disconnected, and the TCGETS ioctl, which some user space libraries use
as a probe to determine if a file is a tty, is called on /dev/console and
fails. Programs that call isatty() on /dev/console and get an incorrect
false value may skip expected logging to /dev/console.
2. The hardware issues include the case if a user has a science instrument
or other device connected to the /dev/ttyS0 port, and they were to upgrade
to a kernel that is disabling the CONFIG_VT option, kernel logs will then
be sent to the device connected to /dev/ttyS0 unless they edit their
kernel command line manually.
The new CONFIG_NULL_TTY_DEFAULT_CONSOLE option will give users and
distribution maintainers an option to avoid this. Disabling CONFIG_VT and
enabling CONFIG_NULL_TTY_DEFAULT_CONSOLE will ensure the default kernel
console behavior is not dependent on hardware configuration by default, and
avoid unexpected new behavior on devices connected to the /dev/ttyS0 serial
port.

Since commit f2b4fa19647e ("ext4: switch to using the crc32c library"),
ext4_has_metadata_csum() is just an alias for
ext4_has_feature_metadata_csum(). ext4_has_feature_metadata_csum() is
generated by EXT4_FEATURE_RO_COMPAT_FUNCS and uses the regular naming
convention for checking a single ext4 feature. Therefore, remove
ext4_has_metadata_csum() and update all its callers to use
ext4_has_feature_metadata_csum() directly.

If a journal is wiped, we will set journal->j_tail to 0. However if
'write' argument is not set (as it happens for read-only device or for
ocfs2), the on-disk superblock is not updated accordingly and thus
jbd2_journal_recover() cat try to recover the wiped journal. Fix the
check in jbd2_journal_recover() to use journal->j_tail for checking
empty journal instead.

Journal emptiness is not determined by sb->s_sequence == 0 but rather by
sb->s_start == 0 (which is set a few lines above). Furthermore 0 is a
valid transaction ID so the check can spuriously trigger. Remove the
invalid WARN_ON.

Add support for LT7170 and LT7171. The LT7170 and LT7171 are 20 A, 16 V,
Single- or Dual-Phase, Silent Switcher Step-Down Regulators with Digital
Power System Management.
The relevant registers in the LT7170 and LT7171 are similar to those in
the LTC3887, but with fewer channels. This adds the chip ID and
identification of ASCII to differentiate between the LT7170 and LT7171.
These devices support polling for status updates and clearing peak
values. The data format for voltage, current, and temperature is set to
IEEE754 for precision and compatibility.

Commit f3974aca381e ("power: supply: bq27xxx: do not report bogus zero
values") breaks property reporting on chips which are reporting normal
values. During testing, excessive emphasis was evidently placed on the
chip with non-working conditions, and not enough testing was done on a
battery that had normal state.
A correct fix will be submitted in a separate patch.

The charge input threshold voltage register on the MAX77693 PMIC accepts
four values: 0x0 for 4.3v, 0x1 for 4.7v, 0x2 for 4.8v and 0x3 for 4.9v.
Due to an oversight, the driver calculated the values for 4.7v and above
starting from 0x0, rather than from 0x1 ([(4700000 - 4700000) / 100000]
gives 0).
Add 1 to the calculation to ensure that 4.7v is converted to a register
value of 0x1 and that the other two voltages are converted correctly as
well.

ECN bits in TOS are always cleared when sending in ACKs in TW. Clearing
them is problematic for TCP flows that used Accurate ECN because ECN bits
decide which service queue the packet is placed into (L4S vs Classic).
Effectively, TW ACKs are always downgraded from L4S to Classic queue
which might impact, e.g., delay the ACK will experience on the path
compared with the other packets of the flow.
Change the TW ACK sending code to differentiate:
- In tcp_v4_send_reset(), commit ba9e04a7ddf4f ("ip: fix tos reflection
in ack and reset packets") cleans ECN bits for TW reset and this is
not affected.
- In tcp_v4_timewait_ack(), ECN bits for all TW ACKs are cleaned. But now
only ECN bits of ACKs for oow data or paws_reject are cleaned, and ECN
bits of other ACKs will not be cleaned.
- In tcp_v4_reqsk_send_ack(), commit 66b13d99d96a1 ("ipv4: tcp: fix TOS
value in ACK messages sent from TIME_WAIT") did not clean ECN bits of
ACKs for oow data or paws_reject. But now the ECN bits rae cleaned for
these ACKs.

There are important differences in how the CWR field behaves
in RFC3168 and AccECN. With AccECN, CWR flag is part of the
ACE counter and its changes are important so adjust the flags
changed mask accordingly.
Also, if CWR is there, set the Accurate ECN GSO flag to avoid
corrupting CWR flag somewhere.

Handling the CWR flag differs between RFC 3168 ECN and AccECN.
With RFC 3168 ECN aware TSO (NETIF_F_TSO_ECN) CWR flag is cleared
starting from 2nd segment which is incompatible how AccECN handles
the CWR flag. Such super-segments are indicated by SKB_GSO_TCP_ECN.
With AccECN, CWR flag (or more accurately, the ACE field that also
includes ECE & AE flags) changes only when new packet(s) with CE
mark arrives so the flag should not be changed within a super-skb.
The new skb/feature flags are necessary to prevent such TSO engines
corrupting AccECN ACE counters by clearing the CWR flag (if the
CWR handling feature cannot be turned off).
If NIC is completely unaware of RFC3168 ECN (doesn't support
NETIF_F_TSO_ECN) or its TSO engine can be set to not touch CWR flag
despite supporting also NETIF_F_TSO_ECN, TSO could be safely used
with AccECN on such NIC. This should be evaluated per NIC basis
(not done in this patch series for any NICs).
For the cases, where TSO cannot keep its hands off the CWR flag,
a GSO fallback is provided by this patch.

Rename tcp_ecn_check_ce to tcp_data_ecn_check as it is
called only for data segments, not for ACKs (with AccECN,
also ACKs may get ECN bits).
The extra "layer" in tcp_ecn_check_ce() function just
checks for ECN being enabled, that can be moved into
tcp_ecn_field_check rather than having the __ variant.
No functional changes.

With AccECN, there's one additional TCP flag to be used (AE)
and ACE field that overloads the definition of AE, CWR, and
ECE flags. As tcp_flags was previously only 1 byte, the
byte-order stuff needs to be added to it's handling.

Whenever timestamp advances, it declares progress which
can be used by the other parts of the stack to decide that
the ACK is the most recent one seen so far.
AccECN will use this flag when deciding whether to use the
ACK to update AccECN state or not.

- While at it, remove the inline from tcp_in_ack_event() and let
the compiler to decide
Accurate ECN's heuristics does not know if there is going
to be ACE field based CE counter increase or not until after
rtx queue has been processed. Only then the number of ACKed
bytes/pkts is available. As CE or not affects presence of
FLAG_ECE, that information for tcp_in_ack_event is not yet
available in the old location of the call to tcp_in_ack_event().

In that function we call set_extent_buffer_uptodate() or
clear_extent_buffer_uptodate(), which will already update the uptodate
flag for all the involved extent buffer folios.
Thus there is no need to update the folio uptodate flags again.
Just remove the open-coded part.

btrfs_encoded_read_regular_fill_pages()
Only allocate the btrfs_encoded_read_private structure for asynchronous
(io_uring) mode.
There's no need to allocate an object from slab in the synchronous mode. In
such a case stack can be happily used as it used to be before 68d3b27e05c7
("btrfs: move priv off stack in btrfs_encoded_read_regular_fill_pages()")
which was a preparation for the async mode.
While at it, fix the comment to reflect the atomic => refcount change in
d29662695ed7 ("btrfs: fix use-after-free waiting for encoded read endios").
