The WPR address parameter of the ls_write_wpr hook was defined as a u32,
which will very likely overflow on boards with more than 4GB VRAM.

Ideally we'd be able to keep these at a more obvious error level, as
they're a good indication of us doing something wrong.
However, NVIDIA's FECS/GPCCS firmware touches registers that trigger
priv ring faults, and we can't do anything to fix that ourselves due
to the need for them to be signed by NVIDIA.
This issue was reported a while back, but hasn't been fixed, so, for
now we will hide the messages to prevent spamming Optimus users with
messages whenever the NVIDIA GPU is powered off and on again.

Call qxl_add_monitors_config_modes() unconditionally. Do all sanity
checks in that function.
Fix sanity checks. monitors_config is the current monitor
configuration, whereas client_monitors_config is the configuration
requested by the spice client. So when filling the mode list, based on
the spice client request, we need to look at
client_monitors_config->count not monitors_config->count.

Try to read the client monitors config at driver load time, even without
explicit notification. So in case that info was filled before the driver
loaded and we've missed the notifications because of that the settings
will still be used.
With that place we now have to take care to properly handle a empty client
monitors config, so we don't trip over an uninitialized client monitors
config.

When reading the monitor config fails, don't retry forever. If it fails
ten times in a row just give up to avoid the driver hangs. Also add a
small delay after each attempt, so the host has a chance to complete a
partial update.

very old qxl hardware revisions (predating qxl ksm support by a few
years) supported a fixed list of video modes only. The list is still
provided by the virtual hardware, for backward compatibility reasons.
The qxl kms driver never ever looks at it, except for dumping it to
the kernel log at load time in case debug logging is enabled. Drop
that pointless code.

If fbdev emulation is disabled, the QXL shutdown path will try to clean
a framebuffer that wasn't initialized, hitting the Oops below. The
problem is that even when FBDEV_EMULATION is disabled we allocate the
qfbdev strutucture, but we don't initialize it. The fix is to stop
allocating the memory, since it won't be used. This allows the existing
verification in the cleanup hook to do it's job preventing the oops.
Now that we don't allocate the unused fbdev structure, we need to be
careful when dereferencing it in the PM suspend hook.

Without apriori understanding of what the define is, the name gives
a very different impression of what it is (a max delay value
for an EQ). Rename the define so it reflects what it is: the number
of EQ IDs that can be set in one instance of the MODIFY_EQ_DELAY
mbx command.

A previous change unilaterally removed the hba reset entry point
from the sli3 host template. This was done to allow tape devices
being used for back up from being removed. Why was this done ?
When there was non-responding device on the fabric, the error
escalation policy would escalate to the reset handler. When the
reset handler was called, it would reset the adapter, dropping
link, thus logging out and terminating all i/o's - on any target.
If there was a tape device on the same adapter that wasn't in
error, it would kill the tape i/o's, effectively killing the
tape device state. With the reset point removed, the adapter
reset avoided the fabric logout, allowing the other devices to
continue to operate unaffected. A hack - yes. Hint: we really
need a transport I_T nexus reset callback added to the eh process
(in between the SCSI target reset and hba reset points), so a
fc logout could occur to the one bad target only and stop the error
escalation process.
This patch commonizes the approach so it can be used for sli3 and sli4
adapters, but mandates the admin, via module parameter, specifically
identify which adapters the resets are to be removed for. Additionally,
bus_reset, which sends Target Reset TMFs to all targets, is also removed
from the template as it too has the same effect as the adapter reset.

In the case where sglq is null, the current code just returns without
unlocking the spinlock sql_list_lock. Fix this by breaking out of the
while loop and the exit path will then unlock and return NULL as was
the original intention.

dma_buf->iocbq is being dereferenced immediately before it is
being null checked, so we have a potential null pointer dereference

This patch shortens every init_timer in lpfc module followed by function
and data assignment using setup_timer. This is purely cleanup patch, it
does not add new functionality nor remove any existing functionality.
An init_timer call in this form:
init_timer(&vport->fc_disctmo);
vport->fc_disctmo.function = lpfc_disc_timeout;
vport->fc_disctmo.data = vport;
is shortened to:
setup_timer(&vport->fc_disctmo, lpfc_disc_timeout, vport);
It increases readability and reduces chances of mistakes done by
developers.

Recent printk changes for KERN_CONT cause this logging to be defectively
emitted on multiple lines. Fix it.
Also reduces object size a trivial amount.

This defines the symbol as a constant in this case, as there is no way to
set it to anything other than zero without DEBUG_FS. In addition, I'm renaming
it to qedi_do_not_recover in order to put it into a driver specific namespace,
as "do_not_recover" is a really bad name for a kernel-wide global identifier
when it is used only in one driver.
