Referenced commit doesn't always set iifidx when offloading the flow to
hardware. Fix the following cases:
- nf_conn_act_ct_ext_fill() is called before extension is created with
nf_conn_act_ct_ext_add() in tcf_ct_act(). This can cause rule offload with
unspecified iifidx when connection is offloaded after only single
original-direction packet has been processed by tc data path. Always fill
the new nf_conn_act_ct_ext instance after creating it in
nf_conn_act_ct_ext_add().
- Offloading of unidirectional UDP NEW connections is now supported, but ct
flow iifidx field is not updated when connection is promoted to
bidirectional which can result reply-direction iifidx to be zero when
refreshing the connection. Fill in the extension and update flow iifidx
before calling flow_offload_refresh().

The randstruct GCC plugin tried to discover "fake" flexible arrays
to issue warnings about them in randomized structs. In the future
LSM overhead reduction series, it would be legal to have a randomized
struct with a 1-element array, and this should _not_ be treated as a
flexible array, especially since commit df8fc4e934c1 ("kbuild: Enable
-fstrict-flex-arrays=3"). Disable the 0-sized and 1-element array
discovery logic in the plugin, but keep the "true" flexible array check.

The mailman-2 system behind lists.linux[-]foundation.org is being
retired, so the lists are being migrated to lists.linux.dev.
Since both domains belong to LF and setting up proper forwards is
possible, the old addresses will continue to work for a while, but all
new patches should be sent to the new canonical addresses for each list.

-EOPNOTSUPP is the return value that implements a "no-op" hook, not 0.
Without this fix having only the BPF LSM enabled (with no programs
attached) can cause uninitialized variable reads in
nfsd4_encode_fattr(), because the BPF hook returns 0 without touching
the 'ctxlen' variable and the corresponding 'contextlen' variable in
nfsd4_encode_fattr() remains uninitialized, yet being treated as valid
based on the 0 return value.

Perform all the intel_pre_update_crtc() stuff for all pipes first,
and only then do the intel_update_crtc() vblank evasion stuff for
every pipe back to back. This should make it more likely that
the plane updates from multiple pipes happen on the same frame
(assuming the pipes are running in sync, eg. due to bigjoiner
or port sync).

Split intel_update_crtc() into two parts such that the first
part performs all the non-vblank evasion preparatory stuff,
and the second part just does the vblank evasion stuff.
For now we just call these back to back so that there is
no funcitonal change.

When a signal is being delivered, the kernel needs to make accesses to
userspace. These accesses could encounter an access error, in which case
the signal delivery itself will trigger a segfault. Usually this would
result in the kernel killing the process. But in the case of a SEGV signal
handler being configured, the failure of the first signal delivery will
result in *another* signal getting delivered. The second signal may
succeed if another thread has resolved the issue that triggered the
segfault (i.e. a well timed mprotect()/mmap()), or the second signal is
being delivered to another stack (i.e. an alt stack).
On x86, in the non-shadow stack case, all the accesses to userspace are
done before changes to the registers (in pt_regs). The operation is
aborted when an access error occurs, so although there may be writes done
for the first signal, control flow changes for the signal (regs->ip,
regs->sp, etc) are not committed until all the accesses have already
completed successfully. This means that the second signal will be
delivered as if it happened at the time of the first signal. It will
effectively replace the first aborted signal, overwriting the half-written
frame of the aborted signal. So on sigreturn from the second signal,
control flow will resume happily from the point of control flow where the
original signal was delivered.
The problem is, when shadow stack is active, the shadow stack SSP
register/MSR is updated *before* some of the userspace accesses. This
means if the earlier accesses succeed and the later ones fail, the second
signal will not be delivered at the same spot on the shadow stack as the
first one. So on sigreturn from the second signal, the SSP will be
pointing to the wrong location on the shadow stack (off by a frame).
Pengfei privately reported that while using a shadow stack enabled glibc,
the “signal06” test in the LTP test-suite hung. It turns out it is
testing the above described double signal scenario. When this test was
compiled with shadow stack, the first signal pushed a shadow stack
sigframe, then the second pushed another. When the second signal was
handled, the SSP was at the first shadow stack signal frame instead of
the original location. The test then got stuck as the #CP from the twice
incremented SSP was incorrect and generated segfaults in a loop.
Fix this by adjusting the SSP register only after any userspace accesses,
such that there can be no failures after the SSP is adjusted. Do this by
moving the shadow stack sigframe push logic to happen after all other
userspace accesses.
Note, sigreturn (as opposed to the signal delivery dealt with in this
patch) has ordering behavior that could lead to similar failures. The
ordering issues there extend beyond shadow stack to include the alt stack
restoration. Fixing that would require cross-arch changes, and the
ordering today does not cause any known test or apps breakages. So leave
it as is, for now.

The keyring and auth functions can be called from both the host and
the target side and are controlled by Kconfig options for each of the
combinations, but the declarations are controlled by #ifdef checks
on the shared Kconfig symbols.
This leads to link failures in combinations where one of the frontends
is built-in and the other one is a module, and the keyring code
ends up in a module that is not reachable from the builtin code:

Each smb_rqst struct contains two things: an array of kvecs (rq_iov) that
contains the protocol data for an RPC op and an iterator (rq_iter) that
contains the data payload of an RPC op. When an smb_rqst is allocated
rq_iter is it always cleared, but we don't set it up unless we're going to
use it.
The functions that determines the size of the ciphertext buffer that will
be needed to encrypt a request, cifs_get_num_sgs(), assumes that rq_iter is
always initialised - and employs user_backed_iter() to check that the
iterator isn't user-backed. This used to incidentally work, because
->user_backed was set to false because the iterator has never been
initialised, but with commit f1b4cb650b9a0eeba206d8f069fcdc532bfbcd74[1]
which changes user_backed_iter() to determine this based on the iterator
type insted, a warning is now emitted:

The problem is that rq_iter was never set, so the type is 0 (ie. ITER_UBUF)
which causes user_backed_iter() to return true. The code doesn't
malfunction because it checks the size of the iterator - which is 0.
Fix cifs_get_num_sgs() to ignore rq_iter if its count is 0, thereby
bypassing the warnings.
It might be better to explicitly initialise rq_iter to a zero-length
ITER_BVEC, say, as it can always be reinitialised later.

The ipv6 redirect target was derived from the ipv4 one, i.e. its
identical to a 'dnat' with the first (primary) address assigned to the
network interface. The code has been moved around to make it usable
from nf_tables too, but its still the same as it was back when this
was added in 2012.
IPv6, however, has different types of addresses, if the 'wrong' address
comes first the redirection does not work.
In Daniels case, the addresses are:
inet6 ::ffff:192 ...
inet6 2a01: ...
... so the function attempts to redirect to the mapped address.
Add more checks before the address is deemed correct:
1. If the packets' daddr is scoped, search for a scoped address too
2. skip tentative addresses
3. skip mapped addresses
Use the first address that appears to match our needs.

In commit 44bd78dd2b88 ("irqchip/gic-v3: Disable pseudo NMIs on
MediaTek devices w/ firmware issues") we added a method for detecting
MediaTek devices with broken firmware and disabled pseudo-NMI. While
that worked, it didn't address the problem at a deep enough level.
The fundamental issue with this broken firmware is that it's not
saving and restoring several important GICR registers. The current
list is believed to be:
* GICR_NUM_IPRIORITYR
* GICR_CTLR
* GICR_ISPENDR0
* GICR_ISACTIVER0
* GICR_NSACR
Pseudo-NMI didn't work because it was the only thing (currently) in
the kernel that relied on the broken registers, so forcing pseudo-NMI
off was an effective fix. However, it could be observed that calling
system_uses_irq_prio_masking() on these systems still returned
"true". That caused confusion and led to the need for
commit a07a59415217 ("arm64: smp: avoid NMI IPIs with broken MediaTek
FW"). It's worried that the incorrect value returned by
system_uses_irq_prio_masking() on these systems will continue to
confuse future developers.
Let's fix the issue a little more completely by disabling IRQ
priorities at a deeper level in the kernel. Once we do this we can
revert some of the other bits of code dealing with this quirk.
This includes a partial revert of commit 44bd78dd2b88
("irqchip/gic-v3: Disable pseudo NMIs on MediaTek devices w/ firmware
issues"). This isn't a full revert because it leaves some of the
changes to the "quirks" structure around in case future code needs it.

Usages of DRM_IVPU_BO_UNCACHED should be replaced by DRM_IVPU_BO_WC.
There is no functional benefit from DRM_IVPU_BO_UNCACHED if these
buffers are never mapped to host VM.
This allows to cut the buffer handling code in the kernel driver
by half.
Usage of DRM_IVPU_BO_UNCACHED buffers was removed from user-space
driver and will not be part of first UMD release.

ivpu_bo_remove_all_bos_from_context() could race with ivpu_bo_free()
when prime buffer was closed after vpu device was closed.
Move the bo_list from context to vdev and use a dedicated lock to
sync it. This list is not modified when BO is added/removed from
a context.
Also rename ivpu_bo_free_vpu_addr() to ivpu_bo_unbind() because this
function does more then just free vpu_addr.

Limit the free list length to the size of the IO TLB. Transient pool can be
smaller than IO_TLB_SEGSIZE, but the free list is initialized with the
assumption that the total number of slots is a multiple of IO_TLB_SEGSIZE.
As a result, swiotlb_area_find_slots() may allocate slots past the end of
a transient IO TLB buffer.

Use gem->open() callback to simplify the code and prepare for gem_shmem
conversion. It is called during handle creation for a gem object,
during prime import and in BO_CREATE ioctl. Hence can be used for vpu_addr
allocation. On the way remove unused bo->user_ptr field.

Currently we seem to be using wrong DPCD register for reading
compressed bpps, reading min/max input bpc instead of compressed bpp.
Fix that, so that we now apply min/max compressed bpp limitations we
get from DP Spec Table 2-157 DP v2.0 and/or correspondent DPCD
register DP_DSC_MAX_BITS_PER_PIXEL_LOW/HIGH.
This might also allow us to get rid of an ugly compressed bpp
recalculation, which we had to add to make some MST hubs usable.

After the previous patch the BW limits on the whole MST topology will be
checked after computing the state for all the streams in the topology.
Accordingly remove the check during the stream's encoder compute config
step, to prevent failing an atomic commit due to a BW limit, if this can
be resolved only by reducing the BW of other streams on the same MST
link.

At the moment modesetting a stream CRTC will fail if the stream's BW
along with the current BW of all the other streams on the same MST link
is above the total BW of the MST link. Make the BW sharing more dynamic
by trying to reduce the link bpp of one or more streams on the MST link
in this case.
When selecting a stream to reduce the BW for, take into account which
link segment in the MST topology ran out of BW and which streams go
through this link segment. For instance with A,B,C streams in the same
MST topology A and B may share the BW of a link segment downstream of a
branch device, stream C not downstream of the branch device, hence not
affecting this BW. If this link segment's BW runs out one or both of
stream A/B's BW will be reduced until their total BW is within limits.
While reducing the link bpp for a given stream DSC may need to be
enabled for it, which requires FEC on the whole MST link. Check for this
condition and recompute the state for all streams taking the FEC
overhead into account (on 8b/10b links).

Enabling / disabling DSC decompression in the branch device downstream
of the source may reset the whole branch device. To avoid this while the
streams are still active, force a modeset on all CRTC/ports connected to
this branch device.

Enable DSC decompression for all streams. In particular atm if a sink is
connected to a last branch device that is downstream of the first branch
device connected to the source, decompression is not enabled for it.
Similarly it's not enabled if the sink supports this with the last
branch device passing through the compressed stream to it.
Enable DSC in the above cases as well. Since last branch devices may
handle the decompression for multiple ports, toggling DSC needs to be
refcounted, add this using the DSC AUX device as a reference.

Enable DSC using the DSC AUX device stored for this purpose in the
connector. For clarity add separate functions to enable/disable the
decompression, since these sequences will diverge more in follow-up
patches that also enable/disable DSC passthrough and on MST do the
actual enabling/disabling only for the first/last user of the given
AUX device. As a preparation for the latter refcounting change, also
pass the atomic state to the functions.
While at it set/clear only the DP_DECOMPRESSION_EN flag in the
DP_DSC_ENABLE DPCD register, preserving the reserved register bits.
Besides preserving the reserved register bits, the behavior stays as
before, as DSC is still only enabled for the first MST stream (which a
follow-up patch changes, enabling it for all streams).

encoder hooks. This prepares for an upcoming patch toggling DSC for each

The Synaptics MST hubs expose some sink EDID modes with a reduced HBLANK
period, presumedly to save BW, which the hub expands before forwarding
the stream to the sink. In particular a 4k mode with a standard CVT
HBLANK period is exposed with either a CVT reduced blank RBv1,v2 (80,
160 pixel) or a non-CVT 56 pixel HBLANK period. The DP standard
describes the above HBLANK expansion functionality, but it requires
enabling this explicitly, whereas these hubs apply the expansion
transparently.
In some TBT docks with such a Synaptics hub (DELL WD22TB4) the above modes
will work okay until DSC decompression is enabled in the hub for the given
sink, but after this the same mode will not work reliably in decompressed
mode. In another TBT dock (Thinkpad 40B0) the above modes will not work
in uncompressed/18bpp mode (regardless of whether DSC decompression was
enabled before or not).
As a workaround force enable DSC for such modes. Apply the WA when the
HBLANK period is 300ns or below, matching the above tested modes with a
533.25MHz dotclock and maximum 160 HBLANK pixels.
OTOH DSC for these modes will only work above a certain compressed bpp
threshold which depends on the link rate, so apply this limit as well
in the workaround.
On platforms, pipe/port configurations where DSC is not supported, for
instance on ICL where DSC/MST is still work-in-progress, limit the
minimum link bpp to 24.
Apply the workaround only for Synaptics hubs which support the HBLANK
expansion.

As required by the DP standard wait for the sink to detect the FEC
decode enabling symbol sent by the source.
There is a difference between SST and MST when the source enables
the FEC encoding: on SST this happens only after enabling the
transcoder, whereas on MST it happens already after enabling the
transcoder function (before enabling the transcoder). Wait for the
detected status at the earliest spot accordingly.

Atm the DSC PPS SDP will stay enabled after enabling and disabling DSC.
This leaves an output blank after switching off DSC on it. Make sure the
SDP is disabled for an uncompressed output.

Atm the DSC PPS SDP is programmed only if the first stream is compressed
and then it's programmed only for the first stream. This left all other
compressed streams blank. Program the SDP for all streams.

If an MST stream is modeset, its state must be checked along all the
other streams on the same MST link, for instance to resolve a BW
overallocation of a non-sink MST port or to make sure that the FEC is
enabled/disabled the same way for all these streams.
To prepare for that this patch adds all the stream CRTCs to the atomic
state and marks them for modeset similarly to tgl+ platforms. (If the
state computation doesn't change the state the CRTC is switched back to
fastset mode.)
So far on tgl+ this was required because all streams in the topology
shared the master transcoder. For older platforms this didn't apply but
adding all the state is required now on all platforms based on the
above.
