As libbpf now is able to automatically take care of RLIMIT_MEMLOCK
increase (or skip it altogether on recent enough kernels), remove
explicit setrlimit() invocations in bench, test_maps, test_verifier, and
test_progs.

The need to increase RLIMIT_MEMLOCK to do anything useful with BPF is
one of the first extremely frustrating gotchas that all new BPF users go
through and in some cases have to learn it a very hard way.
Luckily, starting with upstream Linux kernel version 5.11, BPF subsystem
dropped the dependency on memlock and uses memcg-based memory accounting
instead. Unfortunately, detecting memcg-based BPF memory accounting is
far from trivial (as can be evidenced by this patch), so in practice
most BPF applications still do unconditional RLIMIT_MEMLOCK increase.
As we move towards libbpf 1.0, it would be good to allow users to forget
about RLIMIT_MEMLOCK vs memcg and let libbpf do the sensible adjustment
automatically. This patch paves the way forward in this matter. Libbpf
will do feature detection of memcg-based accounting, and if detected,
will do nothing. But if the kernel is too old, just like BCC, libbpf
will automatically increase RLIMIT_MEMLOCK on behalf of user
application ([0]).
As this is technically a breaking change, during the transition period
applications have to opt into libbpf 1.0 mode by setting
LIBBPF_STRICT_AUTO_RLIMIT_MEMLOCK bit when calling
libbpf_set_strict_mode().
Libbpf allows to control the exact amount of set RLIMIT_MEMLOCK limit
with libbpf_set_memlock_rlim_max() API. Passing 0 will make libbpf do
nothing with RLIMIT_MEMLOCK. libbpf_set_memlock_rlim_max() has to be
called before the first bpf_prog_load(), bpf_btf_load(), or
bpf_object__load() call, otherwise it has no effect and will return
-EBUSY.

== Background ==
Support for large, "dynamic" fpstates was recently merged. This
included code to ensure that sigaltstacks are sufficiently sized for
these large states. A new lock was added to remove races between
enabling large features and setting up sigaltstacks.
== Problem ==
The new lock (sigaltstack_lock()) is acquired in the sigreturn path
before restoring the old sigaltstack. Unfortunately, contention on the
new lock causes a measurable signal handling performance regression [1].
However, the common case is that no *changes* are made to the
sigaltstack state at sigreturn.
== Solution ==
do_sigaltstack() acquires sigaltstack_lock() and is used for both
sys_sigaltstack() and restoring the sigaltstack in sys_sigreturn().
Check for changes to the sigaltstack before taking the lock. If no
changes were made, return before acquiring the lock.
This removes lock contention from the common-case sigreturn path.

The driver has to check if it does not accidentally put the timestamp in
the SKB before previous timestamp gets overwritten.
Timestamp values in the PHY are read only and do not get cleared except
at hardware reset or when a new timestamp value is captured.
The cached_tstamp field is used to detect the case where a new timestamp
has not yet been captured, ensuring that we avoid sending stale
timestamp data to the stack.

Change the division in ice_ptp_adjfine from div_u64 to div64_u64.
div_u64 is used when the divisor is 32 bit but in this case incval is
64 bit and it caused incorrect calculations and incval adjustments.

This follows normal Linux convention and is more useful since the new
name will make it apparent which network device the work-queue is for
(e.g., the name will be "wlan0-wq" for network device "wlan0").
hif_workqueue allocation has to move from
cfg80211.c:wilc_cfg80211_init() to netdev.c:wilc_netdev_ifc_init()
because the network device name is not known until after the netdev is
registered. The move also makes sense because netdev.c is already
responsible for destroying the work queue when it is no longer needed.

When deinitializing the driver, one or more "FW not responding" error
appears on the console. This appears to be due to wilc_wlan_stop()
disabling host/WILC1000 communication, but then right afterwards, it
tries to release the bus with chip-sleep enabled. The problem is
enabling the chip-sleep cannot success once host/WILC1000
communication is disabled. Fix by only releasing the bus.

The USE_SPI_DMA macro name suggests that it could be set to 1 to
control whether or not SPI DMA should be used. However, that's not
what it does. If set to 1, it'll set the SPI messages'
"is_dma_mapped" flag to true, even though the tx/rx buffers aren't
actually DMA mapped by the driver. In other words, setting this flag
to 1 will break the driver.
Best to clean up this confusion by removing the macro altogether.
There is no need to explicitly initialize "is_dma_mapped" because the
message is cleared to zero anyhow, so "is_dma_mapped" is set to false
by default.

ice_status previously had a variable to contain these values where other
error codes had a variable as well. With ice_status now being an int,
there is no need for two variables to hold error values. In cases where
this occurs, remove one of the excess variables and use a single one.
Some initialization of variables are no longer needed and have been
removed.

Before this change, final state of the DDP pkg load process was
dependent on many variables such as: ice_status, pkg version,
ice_aq_err. The last one had be stored in hw->pkg_dwnld_status.
It was impossible to conclude this state just from ice_status, that's
why logging process of DDP pkg load in the caller was a little bit
complicated.
With this patch new status enum is introduced - ice_ddp_state.
It covers all the possible final states of the loading process.
What's tricky for ice_ddp_state is that not only
ICE_DDP_PKG_SUCCESS(=0) means that load was successful. Actually
three states mean that:
- ICE_DDP_PKG_SUCCESS
- ICE_DDP_PKG_SAME_VERSION_ALREADY_LOADED
- ICE_DDP_PKG_COMPATIBLE_ALREADY_LOADED
ice_is_init_pkg_successful can tell that information.
One ddp_state should not be used outside of ice_init_pkg which is
ICE_DDP_PKG_ALREADY_LOADED. It is more generic, it is used in
ice_dwnld_cfg_bufs to see if pkg is already loaded. At this point
we can't use one of the specific one (SAME_VERSION, COMPATIBLE,
NOT_SUPPORTED) because we don't have information on the package
currently loaded in HW (we are before calling ice_get_pkg_info).
We can get rid of hw->pkg_dwnld_status because we are immediately
mapping aq errors to ice_ddp_state in ice_dwnld_cfg_bufs.
Other errors like ICE_ERR_NO_MEMORY, ICE_ERR_PARAM are mapped the
generic ICE_DDP_PKG_ERR.

The out-of-tree vendor driver uses the following approach to set the
AIU_I2S_MISC register:
1) write AIU_MEM_I2S_START_PTR and AIU_MEM_I2S_RD_PTR
2) configure AIU_I2S_MUTE_SWAP[15:0]
3) write AIU_MEM_I2S_END_PTR
4) set AIU_I2S_MISC[2] to 1 (documented as: "put I2S interface in hold
mode")
5) set AIU_I2S_MISC[4] to 1 (depending on the driver revision it always
stays at 1 while for older drivers this bit is unset in step 4)
6) set AIU_I2S_MISC[2] to 0
7) write AIU_MEM_I2S_MASKS
8) toggle AIU_MEM_I2S_CONTROL[0]
9) toggle AIU_MEM_I2S_BUF_CNTL[0]
Move setting the AIU_I2S_MISC[2] bit to aiu_fifo_i2s_hw_params() so it
resembles the flow in the vendor kernel more closely. While here also
configure AIU_I2S_MISC[4] (documented as: "force each audio data to
left or right according to the bit attached with the audio data")
similar to how the vendor driver does this. This fixes the infamous and
long-standing "machine gun noise" issue (a buffer underrun issue).

The FIFO registers which take an DMA-able address are only 32-bit wide
on AIU. Add dma_coerce_mask_and_coherent() to make the DMA core aware of
this limitation.

Since the capability of a PTYPE within a specific package could be
negotiated by checking the HW bit map, it means that there's no need
to maintain a different PTYPE list for each type of the package when
parsing PTYPE. So refactor the PTYPE validating mechanism.

In mode-2 QCN9074 firmware uses 15MB of host memory and firmware
request 1MB size segements in QMI, whereas in mode-0 firmware
uses 45MB of host memory and each segment is of 2MB size.
In mode-2 firmware operates with reduced number of vdevs and peers.

In ath11k_mac_op_hw_scan(), the return value of kzalloc() is directly
used in memcpy(), which may lead to a NULL pointer dereference on
failure of kzalloc().
Fix this bug by adding a check of arg.extraie.ptr.
This bug was found by a static analyzer. The analysis employs
differential checking to identify inconsistent security operations
(e.g., checks or kfrees) between two code paths and confirms that the
inconsistent operations are not recovered in the current function or
the callers, so they constitute bugs.
Note that, as a bug found by static analysis, it can be a false
positive or hard to trigger. Multiple researchers have cross-reviewed
the bug.
Builds with CONFIG_ATH11K=m show no new warnings, and our static
analyzer no longer warns about this code.

When logging a directory, once we finish processing a leaf that is full
of dir items, if we find the next leaf was not modified in the current
transaction, we grab the first key of that next leaf and log it as to
mark the end of a key range boundary.
However we did not update the value of ctx->last_dir_item_offset, which
tracks the offset of the last logged key. This can result in subsequent
logging of the same directory in the current transaction to not realize
that key was already logged, and then add it to the middle of a batch
that starts with a lower key, resulting later in a leaf with one key
that is duplicated and at non-consecutive slots. When that happens we get
an error later when writing out the leaf, reporting that there is a pair
of keys in wrong order. The report is something like the following:

When creating a subvolume, at create_subvol(), we allocate an anonymous
device and later call btrfs_get_new_fs_root(), which in turn just calls
btrfs_get_root_ref(). There we call btrfs_init_fs_root() which assigns
the anonymous device to the root, but if after that call there's an error,
when we jump to 'fail' label, we call btrfs_put_root(), which frees the
anonymous device and then returns an error that is propagated back to
create_subvol(). Than create_subvol() frees the anonymous device again.
When this happens, if the anonymous device was not reallocated after
the first time it was freed with btrfs_put_root(), we get a kernel
message like the following:

If the anonymous device gets reallocated by another btrfs filesystem
or any other kernel subsystem, then bad things can happen.
So fix this by setting the root's anonymous device to 0 at
btrfs_get_root_ref(), before we call btrfs_put_root(), if an error
happened.

Line 1169 (#3) allocates a memory chunk for victim_name by kmalloc(),
but when the function returns in line 1184 (#4) victim_name allocated
by line 1169 (#3) is not freed, which will lead to a memory leak.
There is a similar snippet of code in this function as allocating a memory
chunk for victim_name in line 1104 (#1) as well as releasing the memory
in line 1116 (#2).
We should kfree() victim_name when the return value of backref_in_log()
is less than zero and before the function returns in line 1184 (#4).

strncpy() has a notoriously error-prone semantics which makes GCC
complain about it a lot (and quite often completely completely falsely
at that). Instead of pleasing GCC all the time (-Wno-stringop-truncation
is unfortunately only supported by GCC, so it's a bit too messy to just
enable it in Makefile), add libbpf-internal libbpf_strlcpy() helper
which follows what FreeBSD's strlcpy() does and what most people would
expect from strncpy(): copies up to N-1 first bytes from source string
into destination string and ensures zero-termination afterwards.
Replace all the relevant uses of strncpy/strncat/memcpy in libbpf with
libbpf_strlcpy().
This also fixes the issue reported by Emmanuel Deloget in xsk.c where
memcpy() could access source string beyond its end.

In case of BPF_CORE_TYPE_ID_LOCAL we fill out target result explicitly.
But targ_res itself isn't initialized in such a case, and subsequent
call to bpf_core_patch_insn() might read uninitialized field (like
fail_memsz_adjust in this case). So ensure that targ_res is
zero-initialized for BPF_CORE_TYPE_ID_LOCAL case.
This was reported by Coverity static analyzer.

The commit referenced below added fixup_map_timer support (to create a
BPF map containing timers), but failed to increase the size of the
map_fds array, leading to out of bounds write. Fix this by changing
MAX_NR_MAPS to 22.

Do not sleep in poll() when the need_wakeup flag is set. When this
flag is set, the application needs to explicitly wake up the driver
with a syscall (poll, recvmsg, sendmsg, etc.) to guarantee that Rx
and/or Tx processing will be processed promptly. But the current code
in poll(), sleeps first then wakes up the driver. This means that no
driver processing will occur (baring any interrupts) until the timeout
has expired.
Fix this by checking the need_wakeup flag first and if set, wake the
driver and return to the application. Only if need_wakeup is not set
should the process sleep if there is a timeout set in the poll() call.

The donation calculation logic assumes that the donor has non-zero
after-donation hweight, so the lowest active hweight a donating cgroup can
have is 2 so that it can donate 1 while keeping the other 1 for itself.
Earlier, we only donated from cgroups with sizable surpluses so this
condition was always true. However, with the precise donation algorithm
implemented, f1de2439ec43 ("blk-iocost: revamp donation amount
determination") made the donation amount calculation exact enabling even low
hweight cgroups to donate.
This means that in rare occasions, a cgroup with active hweight of 1 can
enter donation calculation triggering the following warning and then a
divide-by-zero oops.

Fix it by excluding cgroups w/ active hweight < 2 from donating. Excluding
these extreme low hweight donations shouldn't affect work conservation in
any meaningful way.
