2012-05-12usb/net: rndis: break out <linux/rndis.h> definesLinus Walleij
As a first step to consolidate the RNDIS implementations, break out a common file with all the #defines and move it to <linux/rndis.h>. This also deletes the immediate duplicated defines in the <linux/rndis.h> file that yields a lot of compilation warnings. Only one set of values exist, the SRMMU ones. Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2012-05-12usb/net: rndis: inline the cpu_to_le32() macroLinus Walleij
The header file <linux/usb/rndis_host.h> used a number of #defines that included the cpu_to_le32() macro to assure the result will be in LE endianness. Inlining this into the code instead of using it in the code definitions yields consolidation opportunities later on as you will see in the following patches. The individual drivers also used local defines - all are switched over to the pattern of doing the conversion at the call sites instead. 2012-05-12Merge branches 'depends/pinctrl/devel' and 'depends/rmk/clkdev' into ↵Arnd Bergmann
spear/pinctrl The spear/pinctrl branch has hard dependencies on both the pinctrl branch and the clkdev branch. We merge those here to fix it up without having to rebase a branch that has been pulled into other stable branches already. 2012-05-12sparc32: drop btfixup for check_pgt_cacheSam Ravnborg
It is a noop for srmmu - so use a define as sparc64 does. And drop all sparc callers - no need to confuse our-self be calling a noop function. Signed-off-by: Sam Ravnborg <sam@ravnborg.org> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>

2012-05-12ARM: 7417/1: vfp: ensure preemption is disabled when enabling VFP accessWill Deacon
The vfp_enable function enables access to the VFP co-processor register space (cp10 and cp11) on the current CPU and must be called with preemption disabled. Unfortunately, the vfp_init late initcall does not disable preemption and can lead to an oops during boot if thread migration occurs at the wrong time and we end up attempting to access the FPSID on a CPU with VFP access disabled. This patch fixes the initcall to call vfp_enable from a non-preemptible context on each CPU and adds a BUG_ON(preemptible) to ensure that any similar problems are easily spotted in the future. 2012-05-12Merge tag 'regmap-3.4' into regmap-strideMark Brown
regmap: Last minute bug fix for 3.4 This is a last minute bug fix that was only just noticed since the code path that's being exercised here is one that is fairly rarely used. The changelog for the change itself is extremely clear and the code itself is obvious to inspection so should be pretty safe. Conflicts: drivers/base/regmap/regmap.c (overlap between the fix and stride code)

2012-05-12regulator: core: Allow drivers to set simple linear voltage maps as dataMark Brown
A lot of regulator hardware maps selectors on to voltages with a simple linear mapping function selector = base + (selector * step size) Provide off the shelf list_voltage() and map_voltage() operations which use new min_uV and uV_step members in the regulator_desc to implement this function. 2012-05-12regulator: core: Allow regulators to provide a voltage to selector mappingMark Brown
In order to allow more drivers to factor things out into data allow drivers to provide a mapping function to convert voltages into selectors. This allows any driver to use set_voltage_sel(). The existing mapping based on iterating over list_voltage() is provided as an operation which can be assigned to the new map_voltage() function though for ease of transition it is treated as the default.
