2013-08-26staging: comedi: comedi_bond: no need to free dev->private on detachIan Abbott
The comedi core will free `dev->private` if it is non-NULL after calling the "detach" handler (`bonding_detach()`), so don't bother freeing it in `bonding_detach()`. Signed-off-by: Ian Abbott <abbotti@mev.co.uk> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
2013-08-26staging: comedi: comedi_bond: remove unused subdev_typeIan Abbott
The `subdev_type` member of `struct bonded_device` is set but not used. Remove it. Signed-off-by: Ian Abbott <abbotti@mev.co.uk> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
2013-08-26staging: comedi: comedi_bond: don't map channels individuallyIan Abbott
The private data structure (`struct comedi_bond_private`) for the overall "comedi_bond" device maps each channel individually to a pointer to the `struct bonded_device` it belongs to via array member `chan_id_dev_map[MAX_CHANS]`. This speeds up look-ups from channel number to bonded device a bit, but the length of the array used to look this up is currently fixed at `MAX_CHANS` (256) and there are no overflow checks when filling the array. In practice, there will only be a few bonded devices (actually bonded subdevices) and it is practical to just skip through the list until we reach the one containing the desired channel. The only place where the bonded device is looked up from the channel number is in `bonding_dio_insn_config()`. Change it to do the look-up by skipping through the list of bonded devices and remove the `chan_id_dev_map[]` member. The `chanid_offset` member of `struct bonded_device` is also no longer needed as the value can be derived while skipping through the list of bonded devices, so remove that member as well. 2013-08-26staging: comedi: comedi_bond: use bitmap to record opened/closed minorsIan Abbott
`do_dev_config()` currently records the comedi minor devices it has opened by setting `devs_opened[minor]` to the pointer returned by `comedi_open()`. This is checked to avoid opening the same minor device twice. The pointer values in `devs_opened[]` aren't needed; we only need to record which minor device numbers are being used. Change `devs_opened` to a bitmap (declared with `DECLARE_BITMAP()`) of length `COMEDI_NUM_BOARD_MINORS` as the minor device numbers are range-checked to fit in a bitmap of this length. Use `test_and_set_bit()` to record the minor device numbers we attempt to open with `comedi_open()`. `bonding_detach()` calls `comedi_close()` to close the comedi minor devices. Since the minor device numbers may be repeated in its list of bonded subdevices, it currently uses a simple `unsigned long devs_closed` variable as a bitmap to keep track of which minor device numbers it has already closed to avoid closing them twice. As a single `unsigned long` consists of less than `COMEDI_NUM_BOARD_MINORS` bits on a 32-bit machine, change `devs_closed to a bitmap of this length using `DECLARE_BITMAP()` and use `test_and_set_bit()` to avoid calling `comedi_close()` more than once for each minor device number in use. 2013-08-26staging: comedi: comedi_bond: change return value of bonding_attach()Ian Abbott
`bonding_attach()` is the comedi "attach" handler for the driver. Any non-negative return value is treated as successful, but 0 is the preferred return value on success. Signed-off-by: Ian Abbott <abbotti@mev.co.uk> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
2013-08-26staging: comedi: comedi_bond: return error code in do_dev_config()Ian Abbott

2013-08-26staging: comedi: comedi_bond: no need to initialize file[]Ian Abbott
The `char file[]` variable in `do_dev_config()` doesn't need to be initialized as it gets overwritten with a `snprintf()`. It just needs to be long enough. Signed-off-by: Ian Abbott <abbotti@mev.co.uk> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>

2013-08-26x86/ioapic: Check attr against the previous setting when programmed more ↵Liu Ping Fan
than once When programming ioapic pinX more than once, current code does not check whether the later attr (trigger & polarity) is the same as the former or not. This causes broken semantics which can be observed in a qemu q35 machine, where ioapic's ioredtbl[x] can never be set as low-active, even if the hpet driver registered it. And hpet driver may share a high-level active IRQ line with other devices. So in qemu, when hpet-dev asserts low-level as kernel expects, the kernel has no response. With this patch, we can observe an ioredtbl[x] set as low-active for hpet. Fix it by reporting -EBUSY to the caller, when attr is different. 2013-08-26ipv6: set skb->protocol on tcp, raw and ip6_append_data genereated skbsHannes Frederic Sowa
Currently we don't initialize skb->protocol when transmitting data via tcp, raw(with and without inclhdr) or udp+ufo or appending data directly to the socket transmit queue (via ip6_append_data). This needs to be done so that we can get the correct mtu in the xfrm layer. Setting of skb->protocol happens only in functions where we also have a transmitting socket and a new skb, so we don't overwrite old values. 2013-08-26xfrm: revert ipv4 mtu determination to dst_mtuHannes Frederic Sowa
In commit 0ea9d5e3e0e03a63b11392f5613378977dae7eca ("xfrm: introduce helper for safe determination of mtu") I switched the determination of ipv4 mtus from dst_mtu to ip_skb_dst_mtu. This was an error because in case of IP_PMTUDISC_PROBE we fall back to the interface mtu, which is never correct for ipv4 ipsec. 2013-08-26[SCSI] pm80xx: fix Adaptec 71605H hangHans Verkuil
The IO command size is 128 bytes for these new controllers as opposed to 64 for the old 8001 controller. The Adaptec out-of-tree driver did this correctly. After comparing the two this turned out to be the crucial difference. So don't hardcode the IO command size, instead use pm8001_ha->iomb_size as that is the correct value for both old and new controllers. 2013-08-26[SCSI] ufshcd-pci: release ioremapped region during removing driverAkinobu Mita
Before commit 2953f850c3b80bdca004967c83733365d8aa0aa2 ("[SCSI] ufs: use devres functions for ufshcd"), UFSHCI register was ioremapped by each glue-driver (ufshcd-pltfrm and ufshcd-pci) during probing and it was iounmapped by core-driver during removing driver. The commit converted ufshcd-pltfrm to use devres functions, but it didn't convert ufshcd-pci.
