2019-05-24drm/mcde: Add new driver for ST-Ericsson MCDELinus Walleij
This adds a new DRM driver for the ST-Ericsson Multi Channel Display Engine, MCDE display controller. This hardware has three independent DSI hosts and can composit and display several memory buffers onto an LCD display. It was developed for several years inside of ST-Ericsson and shipped with a few million mobile phones from Sony and Samsung, as well as with the Snowball community development board. The driver is currently pretty rudimentary but supports a simple framebuffer so we can get penguins and graphics when using these SoCs. 2019-05-24KVM: arm/arm64: Move cc/it checks under hyp's Makefile to avoid instrumentationJames Morse
KVM has helpers to handle the condition codes of trapped aarch32 instructions. These are marked __hyp_text and used from HYP, but they aren't built by the 'hyp' Makefile, which has all the runes to avoid ASAN and KCOV instrumentation. Move this code to a new hyp/aarch32.c to avoid a hyp-panic when starting an aarch32 guest on a host built with the ASAN/KCOV debug options. 2019-05-24drm/i915/gtt: Neuter the deferred unbind callback from gen6_ppgtt_cleanupChris Wilson
Having deferred the vma destruction to a worker where we can acquire the struct_mutex, we have to avoid chasing back into the now destroyed ppgtt. The pd_vma is special in having a custom unbind function to scan for unused pages despite the VMA itself being notionally part of the GGTT. As such, we need to disable that callback to avoid a use-after-free. This unfortunately blew up so early during boot that CI declared the machine unreachable as opposed to being the major failure it was. Oops. 2019-05-23ext4: do not delete unlinked inode from orphan list on failed truncateJan Kara
It is possible that unlinked inode enters ext4_setattr() (e.g. if somebody calls ftruncate(2) on unlinked but still open file). In such case we should not delete the inode from the orphan list if truncate fails. Note that this is mostly a theoretical concern as filesystem is corrupted if we reach this path anyway but let's be consistent in our orphan handling. 2019-05-23ext4: wait for outstanding dio during truncate in nojournal modeJan Kara
We didn't wait for outstanding direct IO during truncate in nojournal mode (as we skip orphan handling in that case). This can lead to fs corruption or stale data exposure if truncate ends up freeing blocks and these get reallocated before direct IO finishes.
