2021-12-17selftests: gpio: add test cases for gpio-simBartosz Golaszewski
Add a set of tests for the new gpio-sim module. This is a pure shell test-suite and uses the helper programs available in the gpio selftests directory. These test-cases only test the functionalities exposed by the gpio-sim driver, not those handled by core gpiolib code. Signed-off-by: Bartosz Golaszewski <brgl@bgdev.pl>

2021-12-17gpio: sim: new testing moduleBartosz Golaszewski
Implement a new, modern GPIO testing module controlled by configfs attributes instead of module parameters. The goal of this driver is to provide a replacement for gpio-mockup that will be easily extensible with new features and doesn't require reloading the module to change the setup. 2021-12-17gpiolib: of: make fwnode take precedence in struct gpio_chipBartosz Golaszewski

2021-12-17gpiolib: allow to specify the firmware node in struct gpio_chipBartosz Golaszewski
Software nodes allow us to represent hierarchies for device components that don't have their struct device representation yet - for instance: banks of GPIOs under a common GPIO expander. The core gpiolib core however doesn't offer any way of passing this information from the drivers. This extends struct gpio_chip with a pointer to fwnode that can be set by the driver and used to pass device properties for child nodes. This is similar to how we handle device-tree sub-nodes with CONFIG_OF_GPIO enabled. 2021-12-17gpiolib: provide gpiod_remove_hogs()Bartosz Golaszewski
Currently all users of gpiod_add_hogs() call it only once at system init so there never was any need for a mechanism allowing to remove them. Now the upcoming gpio-sim will need to tear down chips with hogged lines so provide a function that allows to remove hogs. 2021-12-17crypto: hisilicon/qm - modify the handling method after abnormal interruptionWeili Qian
After processing an interrupt event and the interrupt function is enabled by writing the QM_DOORBELL_CMD_AEQ register, the hardware may generate new interrupt events due to processing other user's task when the subsequent interrupt events have not been processed. The new interrupt event will disrupt the current normal processing flow and cause other problems. Therefore, the operation of writing the QM_DOORBELL_CMD_AEQ doorbell register needs to be placed after all interrupt events processing are completed. When remove the driver and executing the task occur at the same time, the following deadlock will be triggered: Chain exists of: sva_lock --> uacce_mutex --> &qm->qps_lock Possible unsafe locking scenario: CPU0 CPU1 ---- ---- lock(&qm->qps_lock); lock(uacce_mutex); lock(&qm->qps_lock); lock(sva_lock); And the lock 'qps_lock' is used to protect qp. 2021-12-17crypto: ccp - Add SEV_INIT_EX supportDavid Rientjes
Add new module parameter to allow users to use SEV_INIT_EX instead of SEV_INIT. This helps users who lock their SPI bus to use the PSP for SEV functionality. The 'init_ex_path' parameter defaults to NULL which means the kernel will use SEV_INIT, if a path is specified SEV_INIT_EX will be used with the data found at the path. On certain PSP commands this file is written to as the PSP updates the NV memory region. Depending on file system initialization this file open may fail during module init but the CCP driver for SEV already has sufficient retries for platform initialization. During normal operation of PSP system and SEV commands if the PSP has not been initialized it is at run time. If the file at 'init_ex_path' does not exist the PSP will not be initialized. The user must create the file prior to use with 32Kb of 0xFFs per spec. Fixes the following probe warning: lm90 0-004c: Looking up vcc-supply from device tree lm90 0-004c: Looking up vcc-supply property in node /soc/i2c@10030000/temperature-sensor@4c failed lm90 0-004c: supply vcc not found, using dummy regulator Signed-off-by: Vincent Pelletier <plr.vincent@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Palmer Dabbelt <palmer@rivosinc.com>
2021-12-16riscv: dts: sifive unmatched: Fix regulator for board rev3Vincent Pelletier
The existing values are rejected by the da9063 regulator driver, as they are unachievable with the declared chip setup (non-merged vcore and bmem are unable to provide the declared curent). Fix voltages to match rev3 schematics, which also matches their boot-up configuration within the chip's available precision. Declare bcore1/bcore2 and bmem/bio as merged. Set ldo09 and ldo10 as always-on as their consumers are not declared but exist. Drop ldo current limits as there is no current limit feature for these regulators in the DA9063. Fixes warnings like: DA9063_LDO3: Operation of current configuration missing Signed-off-by: Vincent Pelletier <plr.vincent@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Palmer Dabbelt <palmer@rivosinc.com>
