The check in sctp_sockaddr_af is not robust enough to forbid binding a
v4mapped v6 addr on a v4 socket.
The worse thing is that v4 socket's bind_verify would not convert this
v4mapped v6 addr to a v4 addr. syzbot even reported a crash as the v4
socket bound a v6 addr.
This patch is to fix it by doing the common sa.sa_family check first,
then AF_INET check for v4mapped v6 addrs.

After commit cea0cc80a677 ("sctp: use the right sk after waking up from
wait_buf sleep"), it may change to lock another sk if the asoc has been
peeled off in sctp_wait_for_sndbuf.
However, the asoc's new sk could be already closed elsewhere, as it's in
the sendmsg context of the old sk that can't avoid the new sk's closing.
If the sk's last one refcnt is held by this asoc, later on after putting
this asoc, the new sk will be freed, while under it's own lock.
This patch is to revert that commit, but fix the old issue by returning
error under the old sk's lock.

After introducing sctp_stream structure, sctp uses stream->outcnt as the
out stream nums instead of c.sinit_num_ostreams.
However when users use sinit in cmsg, it only updates c.sinit_num_ostreams
in sctp_sendmsg. At that moment, stream->outcnt is still using previous
value. If it's value is not updated, the sinit_num_ostreams of sinit could
not really work.
This patch is to fix it by updating stream->outcnt and reiniting stream
if stream outcnt has been change by sinit in sendmsg.

For legacy chips without CLM blob files, kernel with user helper function
returns -EAGAIN when we request_firmware(), and then driver got failed
when bringing up legacy chips. We expect the CLM blob file for legacy chip
is not existence in firmware path, but the -ENOENT error is transferred to
-EAGAIN in firmware_class.c with user helper.
Because of that, we continue with CLM data currently present in firmware
if getting error from doing request_firmware().

Since commit d41e6858ba58 ("MIPS: Kconfig: Set default MIPS system type
as generic") changed the default MIPS platform to the "generic"
platform, which uses PCI_DRIVERS_GENERIC instead of PCI_DRIVERS_LEGACY,
various files in drivers/ssb/ have failed to build.
This is particularly due to the existence of struct pci_controller being
dependent on PCI_DRIVERS_LEGACY since commit c5611df96804 ("MIPS: PCI:
Introduce CONFIG_PCI_DRIVERS_LEGACY"), so add that dependency to Kconfig
to prevent these files being built for the "generic" platform including
all{yes,mod}config builds.

Many of the ASIC's internal resources are limited and are shared between
several hardware procedures. For example, unified hash-based memory can
be used for many lookup purposes, like FDB and LPM. In many cases the user
can provide a partitioning scheme for such a resource in order to perform
fine tuning for his application. In such cases performing driver reload is
needed for the changes to take place, thus this patchset also adds support
for hot reload.
Such an abstraction can be coupled with devlink's dpipe interface, which
models the ASIC's pipeline as a graph of match/action tables. By modeling
the hardware resource object, and by coupling it to several dpipe tables,
further visibility can be achieved in order to debug ASIC-wide issues.
The proposed interface will provide the user the ability to understand the
limitations of the hardware, and receive notification regarding its occupancy.
Furthermore, monitoring the resource occupancy can be done in real-time and
can be useful in many cases.

Add support for hot reload. First, all the driver/core resources are
released but the PCI and devlink instances, then reset is performed
through the PCI interface. Finally the driver performs initialization.
In case of reload failure the driver is left in a partially initialized
state. Special care is taken during the driver removal in order to
properly handle this state.

Up until now the KVD partition was static. This patch introduces the
ability to get the resource sizes via devlink. In case the resource is not
available the default configuration is used.

in the following fashion:
1. IPv4 host -> KVD hash single

The hardware processes which are modeled via dpipe commonly use some
internal hardware resources. Such relation can improve the understanding
of hardware limitations. The number of resource's unit consumed per
table's entry are also provided for each table.

Add support for hardware resource abstraction over devlink. Each resource
is identified via id, furthermore it contains information regarding its
size and its related sub resources. Each resource can also provide its
current occupancy.
In some cases the sizes of some resources can be changed, yet for those
changes to take place a hot driver reload may be needed. The reload
capability will be introduced in the next patch.

This is a preparation before introducing resources and hot reload support.
Currently there are two global lock where one protects all devlink access,
and the second one protects devlink port access. This patch adds per devlink
instance lock which protects the internal members which are the sb/dpipe/
resource/ports. By introducing this lock the global devlink port lock can
be discarded.

Bisect points to commit d41e6858ba58c ("MIPS: Kconfig: Set default MIPS
system type as generic") as the culprit. Analysis shows that the commmit
changes PCI configuration and enables PCI_DRIVERS_GENERIC. This in turn
disables PCI_DRIVERS_LEGACY. 'struct pci_controller' is, however, only
defined if PCI_DRIVERS_LEGACY is enabled.
Ultimately that means that BCMA_DRIVER_PCI_HOSTMODE depends on
PCI_DRIVERS_LEGACY. Add the missing dependency.

KVM doesn't follow the SMCCC when it comes to unimplemented calls,
and inject an UNDEF instead of returning an error. Since firmware
calls are now used for security mitigation, they are becoming more
common, and the undef is counter productive.
Instead, let's follow the SMCCC which states that -1 must be returned
to the caller when getting an unknown function number.

Due to architecture limitations, the IBM VNIC client driver is unable
to perform MAC address changes unless the device has "logged in" to
its backing device. Currently, pending MAC changes are handled before
login, resulting in an error and failure to change the MAC address.
Moving that chunk to the end of the ibmvnic_login function, when we are
sure that it was successful, fixes that.
The MAC address can be changed when the device is up or down, so
only check if the device is in a "PROBED" state before setting the
MAC address.

Commit b014e96d1abb ("PCI: Protect pci_error_handlers->reset_notify()
usage with device_lock()") resolves races between driver reset and
removal, but it introduces some new deadlock problems. If we see a
timeout while we've already started suspending, removing, or shutting
down the driver, we might see:
(a) a worker thread, running mwifiex_pcie_work() ->
mwifiex_pcie_card_reset_work() -> pci_reset_function()
(b) a removal thread, running mwifiex_pcie_remove() ->
mwifiex_free_adapter() -> mwifiex_unregister() ->
mwifiex_cleanup_pcie() -> cancel_work_sync(&card->work)
Unfortunately, mwifiex_pcie_remove() already holds the device lock that
pci_reset_function() is now requesting, and so we see a deadlock.
It's necessary to cancel and synchronize our outstanding work before
tearing down the driver, so we can't have this work wait indefinitely
for the lock.
It's reasonable to only "try" to reset here, since this will mostly
happen for cases where it's already difficult to reset the firmware
anyway (e.g., while we're suspending or powering off the system). And if
reset *really* needs to happen, we can always try again later.

This reverts commit b713bbf1471b56b572ce26bd02b81a85c2b007f4.
The "fix" in question does not actually fix all related problems, and it
also introduces new deadlock possibilities. Since commit b014e96d1abb
("PCI: Protect pci_error_handlers->reset_notify() usage with
device_lock()"), the race in question is actually resolved (PCIe reset
cannot happen at the same time as remove()). Instead, this "fix" just
introduces a deadlock where mwifiex_pcie_card_reset_work() is waiting on
device_lock, which is held by PCIe device remove(), which is waiting
on...mwifiex_pcie_card_reset_work().
The proper thing to do is just to fix the deadlock. Patch for this will
come separately.

In some rare conditions when running one PEAK USB-FD interface over
a non high-speed USB controller, one useless USB fragment might be sent.
This patch fixes the way a USB command is fragmented when its length is
greater than 64 bytes and when the underlying USB controller is not a
high-speed one.

On new Intel platforms like ApolloLake, legacy interrupt mechanism
(INTx) is not supported, so WLAN modules are not working because
interrupts are missing, therefore this patch is to add MSI support to
ath9k. With module paremeter "use_msi=1", ath9k driver would try to
use MSI instead of INTx.

Add support for CONFIG_PM which is the new way to handle managing clocks.
Move the clock management to pm_runtime_resume() and pm_runtime_suspend()
callbacks for the driver.
CONFIG_PM is required by OMAP based devices to handle clock management.
Therefore, this allows future Texas Instruments SoCs that have the MCAN IP
to work with this driver.

With the version no longer required to allocate the net device, it can
be moved to probe and the alloc_m_can_dev() function can be simplified.

Currently the m_can version is used to set the tx_fifo_count to 1 when
allocating the net device. However, this is redundant as a value of 1
for the tx_fifo_count needs to be provided in the bosch,mram-cfg
property of the device tree node anyway.
Therefore, remove check for version when allocating the net device.

During test transmitting using CAN-FD at high bitrates (> 2 Mbps)
would fail. Scoping the signals I noticed that only a single bit
was being transmitted and with a bit more investigation realized the
actual MCAN IP would go back to initialization mode automatically.
It appears this issue is due to the MCAN needing to use the Transmitter
Delay Compensation Mode with the correct value for the transmitter delay
compensation offset (tdco). What impacts the tdco value isn't 100% clear
but to calculate it you use an equation defined in the MCAN User's Guide.
The user guide mentions that this register needs to be set based on clock
values, secondary sample point and the data bitrate. One of the key
variables that can't automatically be determined is the secondary
sample point (ssp). This ssp is similar to the sp but is specific to this
transmitter delay compensation mode. The guidelines for configuring
ssp is rather vague but via some CAN test it appears for DRA76x that
putting the value same as data sampling point works.
The CAN-CIA's "Bit Time Requirements for CAN FD" paper presented at
the International CAN Conference 2013 indicates that this TDC mode is
only needed for data bit rates above 2.5 Mbps. Therefore, only enable
this mode when the data bit rate is above 2.5 Mbps.

Various CAN or CAN-FD IP may be able to run at a faster rate than
what the transceiver the CAN node is connected to. This can lead to
unexpected errors. However, CAN transceivers typically have fixed
limitations and provide no means to discover these limitations at
runtime. Therefore, add support for a can-transceiver node that
can be reused by other CAN peripheral drivers to determine for both
CAN and CAN-FD what the max bitrate that can be used. If the user
tries to configure CAN to pass these maximum bitrates it will throw
an error.
Also add support for reading bitrate_max via the netlink interface.

Before commit:
e33a9bba85a8 ("sched/core: move IO scheduling accounting from io_schedule_timeout() into scheduler")
delayacct_blkio_end() was called after context-switching into the task which
completed I/O.
This resulted in double counting: the task would account a delay both waiting
for I/O and for time spent in the runqueue.
With e33a9bba85a8, delayacct_blkio_end() is called by try_to_wake_up().
In ttwu, we have not yet context-switched. This is more correct, in that
the delay accounting ends when the I/O is complete.
But delayacct_blkio_end() relies on 'get_current()', and we have not yet
context-switched into the task whose I/O completed. This results in the
wrong task having its delay accounting statistics updated.
Instead of doing that, pass the task_struct being woken to delayacct_blkio_end(),
so that it can update the statistics of the correct task.

Bpftool doesn't recognize BPF_PROG_TYPE_CGROUP_DEVICE programs,
so the prog show command prints the numeric type value:

As a side-effect of adding the module option, we now get a section
mismatch warning:

The variable packet_raw references
the function __init iptable_raw_table_init()
If the reference is valid then annotate the
variable with __init* or __refdata (see linux/init.h) or name the variable:
*_template, *_timer, *_sht, *_ops, *_probe, *_probe_one, *_console
Apparently it's ok to link to a __net_init function from .rodata but not
from .data. We can address this by rearranging the logic so that the
structure is read-only again. Instead of writing to the .priority field
later, we have an extra copies of the structure with that flag. An added
advantage is that that we don't have writable function pointers with this
approach.
