!IO_URING_F_UNLOCKED does not translate to availability of the deferred
completion infra, IO_URING_F_COMPLETE_DEFER does, that what we should
pass and look for to use io_req_complete_defer() and other variants.
Luckily, it's not a real problem as two wrongs actually made it right,
at least as far as io_uring_cmd_work() goes.

io_uring cmd converts struct io_tw_state to issue_flags and later back
to io_tw_state, it's awfully ill-fated, not to mention that intermediate
issue_flags state is not correct.
Get rid of the last conversion, drag through tw everything that came
with IO_URING_F_UNLOCKED, and replace io_req_complete_defer() with a
direct call to io_req_complete_defer(), at least for the time being.

The of_match shall correspond to the name of the regulator subnode,
or the deprecated `regulator-compatible` property must be used:
failing to do so, the regulator won't probe (and the driver will
as well not probe).
Since the devicetree binding for this driver is actually correct
and wants DTs to use the "usb-otg-vbus-regulator" subnode name,
fix this driver by aligning the `of_match` string to what the DT
binding wants.

Although it is functionally OK to do READ_ONCE() of a variable that
cannot change, it is confusing and at best an accident waiting to happen.
This commit therefore removes a number of READ_ONCE(rcu_state.gp_flags)
instances from kernel/rcu/tree.c that are not needed due to updates
to this field being excluded by virtue of holding the root rcu_node
structure's ->lock.

MTD OTP logic is very fragile on parsing NVMEM cell and can be
problematic with some specific kind of devices.
The problem was discovered by e87161321a40 ("mtd: rawnand: macronix:
OTP access for MX30LFxG18AC") where OTP support was added to a NAND
device. With the case of NAND devices, it does require a node where ECC
info are declared and all the fixed partitions, and this cause the OTP
codepath to parse this node as OTP NVMEM cells, making probe fail and
the NAND device registration fail.
MTD OTP parsing should have been limited to always using compatible to
prevent this error by using node with compatible "otp-user" or
"otp-factory".
NVMEM across the years had various iteration on how cells could be
declared in DT, in some old implementation, no_of_node should have been
enabled but now add_legacy_fixed_of_cells should be used to disable
NVMEM to parse child node as NVMEM cell.
To fix this and limit any regression with other MTD that makes use of
declaring OTP as direct child of the dev node, disable
add_legacy_fixed_of_cells if we detect the MTD type is Nand.
With the following logic, the OTP NVMEM entry is correctly created with
no cells and the MTD Nand is correctly probed and partitions are
correctly exposed.

Upon reviewing the flower control flags handling in
this driver, I notice that the key wasn't being used,
only the mask.
Ie. `tc flower ... ip_flags nofrag` was hardware
offloaded as `... ip_flags frag`.
Only compile tested, no access to HW.

Because Tiny RCU is used only in kernels built with either
CONFIG_PREEMPT_NONE=y or CONFIG_PREEMPT_VOLUNTARY=y, there has not been
any need for TINY RCU to explicitly disable preemption. However, the
prospect of lazy preemption changes that, and preemption means that
the non-atomic increment in synchronize_rcu() can be preempted, with
the possibility that one of the increments is lost. This could cause
failures for users of the APIs that poll RCU grace periods.
This commit therefore adds the needed preempt_disable() and
preempt_enable() call to Tiny RCU.

The TINY_RCU rcu_process_callbacks() function is only ever invoked from
a softirq handler, which means that BH is already disabled. This commit
therefore removes the redundant local_bh_disable() and local_bh_ennable()
from this function.

Currently, if a Kconfig option depends on TASKS_RCU, it conditionally does
"select TASKS_RCU if PREEMPTION". This works, but requires any change in
this enablement logic to be replicated across all such "select" clauses.
This commit therefore creates a new NEED_TASKS_RCU Kconfig option so
that the default value of TASKS_RCU can depend on a combination of this
new option and any needed enablement logic, so that this logic is in
one place.
While in the area, also anticipate a likely future change by adding
PREEMPT_AUTO to that logic.

Because Tiny SRCU is used only in kernels built with either

Right now, TINY_RCU depends on (!PREEMPTION && !SMP), which has served the
kernel well for many years due to the fact that PREEMPT_RCU is normally
a synonym for PREEMPTION. But with the advent of lazy preemption,
it will be possible to have non-preemptible RCU in a preemptible kernel,
so that kernels could be built with PREEMPT_RCU=n and PREEMPTION=y.
This commit therefore makes TINY_RCU depend on (!PREEMPT_RCU && !SMP),
thus allowing for a non-preemptible RCU in preemptible kernels.

With Ankur's lazy-/auto-preemption patches applied and with a
lazy-preemptible kernel in combination with a non-preemptible RCU,
lockdep sometimes complains about context switches within RCU read-side
critical sections. This is a false positive due to rcu_read_unlock()
updating lockdep state too late:

Although this complaint could also happen with preemptible RCU
in a preemptible kernel, the odds of that happening aer quite low.
In constrast, with non-preemptible RCU, a long critical section has a
high probability of performing a context switch from the preempt_enable()
in __rcu_read_unlock().
The fix is straightforward, just move the rcu_lock_release()
within rcu_read_unlock() to obtain the reverse order from that of
rcu_read_lock():

__rcu_read_unlock();
This commit makes this change.

Commit under Fixes optimized the number of recv() calls
needed during RTM_GETROUTE dumps, but we got multiple
reports of applications hanging on recv() calls.
Applications expect that a route dump will be terminated
with a recv() reading an individual NLM_DONE message.
Coalescing NLM_DONE is perfectly legal in netlink,
but even tho reporters fixed the code in respective
projects, chances are it will take time for those
applications to get updated. So revert to old behavior
(for now)?

When Output Resource (dcb->or) value is assigned in
fabricate_dcb_output(), there may be out of bounds access to
dac_users array in case dcb->or is zero because ffs(dcb->or) is
used as index there.
The 'or' argument of fabricate_dcb_output() must be interpreted as a
number of bit to set, not value.
Utilize macros from 'enum nouveau_or' in calls instead of hardcoding.
Found by Linux Verification Center (linuxtesting.org) with SVACE.

Adding any sort of useful debug usually makes it go away, so I hand
wrote the function in a line, and debugged the asm.
Every so often pt->memory->ptrs is NULL. This ptrs ptr is set in
the nv50_instobj_acquire called from nvkm_kmap.
If Thread A and Thread B both get to nv50_instobj_acquire around
the same time, and Thread A hits the refcount_set line, and in
lockstep thread B succeeds at refcount_inc_not_zero, there is a
chance the ptrs value won't have been stored since refcount_set
is unordered. Force a memory barrier here, I picked smp_mb, since
we want it on all CPUs and it's write followed by a read.

FUSE attempts to detect server support for statx by trying it once and
setting no_statx=1 if it fails with ENOSYS, but consider the following
scenario:
- Userspace (e.g. sh) calls stat() on a file
* succeeds
- Userspace (e.g. lsd) calls statx(BTIME) on the same file
- request_mask = STATX_BASIC_STATS | STATX_BTIME
- first pass: sync=true due to differing cache_mask
- statx fails and returns ENOSYS
- set no_statx and retry
- retry sets mask = STATX_BASIC_STATS
- now mask == cache_mask; sync=false (time_before: still valid)
- so we take the "else if (stat)" path
- "err" is still ENOSYS from the failed statx call
Fix this by zeroing "err" before retrying the failed call.

Parallel dio write takes a negative refcount of fi->iocachectr and so does
open of file in passthrough mode.
The refcount of passthrough mode is associated with attach/detach of a
fuse_backing object to fuse inode.
For parallel dio write, the backing file is irrelevant, so the call to
fuse_inode_uncached_io_start() passes a NULL fuse_backing object.
Passing a NULL fuse_backing will result in false -EBUSY error if the file
is already open in passthrough mode.
Allow taking negative fi->iocachectr refcount with NULL fuse_backing,
because it does not conflict with an already attached fuse_backing object.

There is a confusion with fuse_file_uncached_io_{start,end} interface.
These helpers do two things when called from passthrough open()/release():
1. Take/drop negative refcount of fi->iocachectr (inode uncached io mode)
2. State change ff->iomode IOM_NONE <-> IOM_UNCACHED (file uncached open)
The calls from parallel dio write path need to take a reference on
fi->iocachectr, but they should not be changing ff->iomode state, because
in this case, the fi->iocachectr reference does not stick around until file
release().
Factor out helpers fuse_inode_uncached_io_{start,end}, to be used from
parallel dio write path and rename fuse_file_*cached_io_{start,end} helpers
to fuse_file_*cached_io_{open,release} to clarify the difference.

This adds a small (64 bit) per-device bitmap that tracks ranges that
have btree nodes, for accelerating btree node scan if it is ever needed.
- New helpers, bch2_dev_btree_bitmap_marked() and
bch2_dev_bitmap_mark(), for checking and updating the bitmap
- Interior btree update path updates the bitmaps when required
- The check_allocations pass has a new fsck_err check,
btree_bitmap_not_marked
- New on disk format version, mi_btree_mitmap, which indicates the new
bitmap is present
- Upgrade table lists the required recovery pass and expected fsck error
- Btree node scan uses the bitmap to skip ranges if we're on the new
version

For forwards compatibilyt, we allow bkeys of unknown type in leaf nodes;
we can simply ignore metadata we don't understand. Pointers to btree
nodes must always be of known types, howwever.

Introduce arch_try_cmpxchg64_local() for 64-bit and 32-bit targets
to improve code using cmpxchg64_local(). On 64-bit targets, the
generated assembly improves from:

When running as Xen PV guest in some cases W^X violation WARN()s have
been observed. Those WARN()s are produced by verify_rwx(), which looks
into the PTE to verify that writable kernel pages have the NX bit set
in order to avoid code modifications of the kernel by rogue code.
As the NX bits of all levels of translation entries are or-ed and the
RW bits of all levels are and-ed, looking just into the PTE isn't enough
for the decision that a writable page is executable, too.
When running as a Xen PV guest, the direct map PMDs and kernel high
map PMDs share the same set of PTEs. Xen kernel initialization will set
the NX bit in the direct map PMD entries, and not the shared PTEs.

Add lookup_address_in_pgd_attr() doing the same as the already
existing lookup_address_in_pgd(), but returning the effective settings
of the NX and RW bits of all walked page table levels, too.
This will be needed in order to match hardware behavior when looking
for effective access rights, especially for detecting writable code
pages.
In order to avoid code duplication, let lookup_address_in_pgd() call
lookup_address_in_pgd_attr() with dummy parameters.
