git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/arm/arm-soc Pull ARM SoC fixes from Arnd Bergmann: "Not much interesting going on fixes-wise for us this week, as it should be for an -rc7. I'm not expecting Olof to work much over Thanksgiving weekend, so I decided to take over again and push these out to you. Just four simple fixes this week: - one missing of_node_put() on armv7 based mvebu - forcing the USB host into the right mode on Chromebook (exynos5-snow) - enabling two important drivers for exynos_defconfig - fixing a noncritical bug for tegra that would cause a regression with common code patches queued for 3.19" * tag 'armsoc-for-rc7' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/arm/arm-soc: ARM: tegra: irq: fix buggy usage of irq_data irq field ARM: exynos_defconfig: Enable max77802 rtc and clock drivers ARM: dts: Explicitly set dr_mode on exynos5250-snow ARM: mvebu: add missing of_node_put() call in coherency.c

2014-11-28perf session: Do not fail on processing out of order eventJiri Olsa
Linus reported perf report command being interrupted due to processing of 'out of order' event, with following error: Timestamp below last timeslice flush 0x5733a8 [0x28]: failed to process type: 3 I could reproduce the issue and in my case it was caused by one CPU (mmap) being behind during record and userspace mmap reader seeing the data after other CPUs data were already stored. This is expected under some circumstances because we need to limit the number of events that we queue for reordering when we receive a PERF_RECORD_FINISHED_ROUND or when we force flush due to memory pressure. 2014-11-28ARM: vexpress: Enable regulator framework when MMCI is in usePawel Moll
The MMCI driver, when used with a Device Tree described device, relies on the "vmmc" voltage regulator supply to set the OCR register voltage bits, using MMC core's mmc_regulator_get_supply() function. 2014-11-28ARM: OMAP2+: Move GPMC initcall to devices.cTony Lindgren
This will us allow to just move gpmc.c to live under drivers in the next patch. Note that we now also remove the omap specific check for the initcall. That's OK as gpmc_probe() checks for the pdata and bails out for other platforms compiled in. Also the postcore_initcall() maybe possible to change to just regular module_init(), but let's do that in separate patch after the move to drivers is done. 2014-11-28Merge branch 'for-linus' into for-nextTakashi Iwai
The commit [7a2e9ddc: ALSA: usb-audio: Add native DSD support for Denon/Marantz DACs] requires the new format definition that has landed only in for-next branch.
2014-11-28ALSA: usb-audio: Add mode select quirk for Denon/Marantz DACsJurgen Kramer
Denon/Marantz USB DACs need a specific vendor command to switch between PCM and DSD mode. This patch adds a new quirk function to switch between the two modes using the specific USB vendor command. 2014-11-28kbuild: Automatically remove stale <linux/version.h> fileMichal Marek
In 3.7, the file moved from include/linux/ to include/generated/uapi/linux/. The path in the #include directive remained the same for compatibility reasons, but this created a problem when bisecting. Commit 9c8cdb71 (kbuild: unconditionally clobber include/linux/version.h on distclean) fixes this, provided the user does make distclean between builds. 2014-11-28crypto: algif_skcipher - Fixed blocking recvmsgHerbert Xu
As most (all?) users of algif_skcipher are single-threaded and therefore always write before reading from an algif_skcipher socket, they never block and exercise that code-path. It turns out that code path doesn't even work because we never reload ctx->used after waking up so we never even see the new data and immediately return an error (and a loud WARN_ON). This patch fixes this by always reloading ctx->used. 2014-11-28mdio-mux-gpio: Use GPIO descriptor interface and new gpiod_set_array functionRojhalat Ibrahim

2014-11-28gpio: remove const modifier from gpiod_get_direction()Alexandre Courbot
Although gpiod_get_direction() can be considered side-effect free for consumers, its internals involve setting or clearing bits in the affected GPIO descriptor, for which we need to force-cast the const descriptor variable to non-const. This could lead to incorrect behavior if the compiler decides to optimize here, so remove this const attribute. The intent is to make gpiod_get_direction() private anyway, so it does not really matter. 2014-11-28cfg80211: leave invalid channels on regdomain changeArik Nemtsov
When the regulatory settings change, some channels might become invalid. Disconnect interfaces acting on these channels, after giving userspace code a grace period to leave them. This mode is currently opt-in, and not all interface operating modes are supported for regulatory-enforcement checks. A wiphy that wishes to use the new enforcement code must specify an appropriate regulatory flag, and all its supported interface modes must be supported by the checking code.
