After the channel context emulation, there were reports that
changing the monitor channel no longer works. This is because
those drivers don't have WANT_MONITOR_VIF, so the setting the
channel always exits out quickly.
Fix this by always allocating the virtual monitor sdata, and
simply not telling the driver about it unless it wanted to.
This way, we have an interface/sdata to bind the chanctx to,
and the emulation can work correctly.

Since the debugfs functions have no-op stubs for CONFIG_DEBUG_FS=n,
the compiler will optimize the rest away since they are no longer referenced.
The benefit of removing the conditional compilation is that the build
is actually tested for both CONFIG_DEBUG_FS configuration values.
Assuming most developers have it enabled, CONFIG_DEBUG_FS=n is not tested
much and may fail the build due to the conditional compilation.

The syzbot fuzzer found that the interrupt-URB completion callback in
the cdc-wdm driver was taking too long, and the driver's immediate
resubmission of interrupt URBs with -EPROTO status combined with the
dummy-hcd emulation to cause a CPU lockup:

Testing showed that the problem did not occur if the two error
messages -- the first two lines above -- were removed; apparently adding
material to the kernel log takes a surprisingly large amount of time.
In any case, the best approach for preventing these lockups and to
avoid spamming the log with thousands of error messages per second is
to ratelimit the two dev_err() calls. Therefore we replace them with
dev_err_ratelimited().

Only the current owner of a request is allowed to write into req->flags.
Hence, the cancellation path should never touch it. Add a new field
instead of the flag, move it into the 3rd cache line because it should
always be initialised. poll_refs can move further as polling is an
involved process anyway.
It's a minimal patch, in the future we can and should find a better
place for it and remove now unused REQ_F_CANCEL_SEQ.

USB/UAS devices
Recently it was reported that the following USB storage devices are
unusable with Linux kernel 6.9:
* Kingston DataTraveler G2
* Garmin FR35
This is because attempting to read the IO Advice Hints Grouping mode page
causes these devices to reset. Hence do not read the IO Advice Hints
Grouping mode page from USB/UAS storage devices.

Under the conditions that a device is to be reinitialized within
ufshcd_probe_hba(), the device must first be fully reset.
Resetting the device should include freeing U8 model (member of dev_info)
but does not, and this causes a memory leak. ufs_put_device_desc() is
responsible for freeing model.

This function wants to move a subset of a list from one element to the
tail into another list. It also needs to use the srcu synchronize
instead of the regular rcu version. Do this one element at a time
because that's the only to do it.

Enabling CONFIG_BTRFS_ASSERT revealed the following assertion to
trigger:
assertion failed: !list_empty(&ordered->list), in fs/btrfs/zoned.c:1815
This indicates, that we're missing the checksums list on the
ordered_extent. As btrfs/167 is doing a NOCOW write this is to be
expected.
Further analysis with drgn confirmed the assumption:

As zoned emulation mode simulates conventional zones on regular devices,
we cannot use zone-append for writing. But we're only attaching dummy
checksums if we're doing a zone-append write.
So for NOCOW zoned data writes on conventional zones, also attach a
dummy checksum.

If inc_block_group_ro systematically fails (e.g. due to ETXTBUSY from
swap) or btrfs_relocate_chunk systematically fails (from lack of
space), then this worker becomes an infinite loop.
At the very least, this strands the cleaner thread, but can also result
in hung tasks/RCU stalls on PREEMPT_NONE kernels and if the
reclaim_bgs_lock mutex is not contended.
I believe the best long term fix is to manage reclaim via work queue,
where we queue up a relocation on the triggering condition and re-queue
on failure. In the meantime, this is an easy fix to apply to avoid the
immediate pain.

Commit c7423dbdbc9e ("ima: Handle -ESTALE returned by
ima_filter_rule_match()") introduced call to ima_lsm_copy_rule within a
RCU read-side critical section which contains kmalloc with GFP_KERNEL.
This implies a possible sleep and violates limitations of RCU read-side
critical sections on non-PREEMPT systems.
Sleeping within RCU read-side critical section might cause
synchronize_rcu() returning early and break RCU protection, allowing a
UAF to happen.

Add ODRs accessible only in low-power mode. Switch automatically to
low-power or low-noise depending on the ODR set.
Add channel attributes "power_mode" and "power_mode_available" for
setting the power mode to use (low-noise or low-power) for ODRs
supporting both mode. Reading "power_mode" when the sensor is on
will return the actual mode and not the requested one. It will be
different when using ODRs not supported by the requested mode.
Use low-power mode by default.

ScioSense ENS160 is a digital metal oxide multi-gas sensor, designed
for indoor air quality monitoring. The driver supports readings of
CO2 and VOC, and can be accessed via both SPI and I2C.

The device has four programmable temperature alert outputs which can be
used to monitor hot or cold-junction temperatures and detect falling and
rising temperatures. It supports up to 255 degree celsius programmable
hysteresis. Each alert can be individually configured by setting following
options in the associated alert configuration register:
- monitor hot or cold junction temperature
- monitor rising or falling temperature
- set comparator or interrupt mode
- set output polarity
- enable alert
This patch binds alert outputs to iio events:
- alert1: hot junction, rising temperature
- alert2: hot junction, falling temperature
- alert3: cold junction, rising temperature
- alert4: cold junction, falling temperature
All outputs are set in comparator mode and polarity depends on interrupt
configuration.

Implements driver for the Vishay VEML6040 rgbw light sensor.
Included functionality: setting the integration time and reading the raw
values for the four channels
Not yet implemented: setting the measurements to 'Manual Force Mode' (Auto
measurements off, and adding a measurement trigger)

Register caching is improving bus access a lot because of the register
window bank setting. Previously, bank register was set for every
register access. Now with caching, it happens only when changing bank
which is very infrequent.

again parts of it: spi_get_device_id() and getting driver data. This is
entirely redundant, because it is part of spi_get_device_match_data().

i2c_device_id::driver_data to 0
These drivers don't use the driver_data member of struct i2c_device_id,
so don't explicitly initialize this member.
This prepares putting driver_data in an anonymous union which requires
either no initialization or named designators. But it's also a nice
cleanup on its own.

This patch adds support for the integrated on-chip heater that is present
on all the devices supported by this driver (si7020, si7021, si7013, th6).
In order to configure the heater, the driver interacts with the following
device registers:
* User Register - the 2nd bit of this register is a "Heater Enable bit"
(0 means that the heater is off, 1 means that it's on).
* Heater Register - this register is present only on the si70xx devices
and controls the current flowing through the heater. The 4 lower bits
of this register can be assigned values from 0x0 to 0xF.

It is preferred to use sizeof(*pointer) instead of sizeof(type)
due to the type of the variable can change and one needs not
change the former (unlike the latter). At the same time refactor
the NULL comparison.
This patch has no effect on runtime behavior.

TI tla2021 is a limited single-channel variant of tla2024 which is
similar enough to be easily supportable through the same driver.
Add compatible string for tla2021 so boards may describe it in
device-tree.
