The ino_generation field was added in the PERF_RECORD_MMAP2 record in
the 13d7a24 cset but no space for it was allocated, corrupting the
PERF_FORMAT_{TIME,CPU,TID,etc} area (sample_type/sample_id_all), fix it.
Detected with one of the regression tests done by 'perf test':

This patch adds support for the new PERF_RECORD_MMAP2 record type
exposed by the kernel. This is an extended PERF_RECORD_MMAP record.
It adds for each file-backed mapping the device major, minor number and
the inode number and generation.
This triplet uniquely identifies the source of a file-backed mapping. It
can be used to detect identical virtual mappings between processes, for
instance.
The patch will prefer MMAP2 over MMAP.

The cl_machine_cred doesn't need to be reference counted here -
a reference is held is for the lifetime of the struct nfs_client.
Also, no need to put_rpccred the rpc_message.rpc_cred.

The MC13783 Chip Errata, Rev. 4 says, that depending on SPI clock
and main audio clock speed, the Audio Codec or Stereo DAC do sometimes
not start when programmed to do so. This is due to an internal clock
timing issue related to the loading of the SPI bits into the audio block.
On an i.MX27 based system, this issue lead to switched audio channels under
certain circumstances: RTC + Touch + Audio are used and loaded at startup.
The mentioned workaround of writing registers 40 and 41 two times is implemented
here.

This is the driver for the Intel(R) Ethernet Controller XL710 Family.
This driver is targeted at basic ethernet functionality only, and will be
improved upon further as time goes on.
This patch contains the driver entry points but does not include transmit
and receive (see the next patch in the series) routines.

This patch bumps the default TCP listen backlog within iscsit_setup_np()
from 5 to 256, in order to reduce the overall latency caused by a small
backlog with 100's of simultaneous login attempts directed to the same
single network portal.
Also add a ISCSIT_TCP_BACKLOG macro in iscsi_target_core.h.

This patch fixes a >= v3.9+ regression in __core_scsi3_write_aptpl_to_file()
+ core_alua_write_tpg_metadata() write-out, where a return value of -EIO was
incorrectly being returned upon success.

This patch bumps the default TA_DEFAULT_CMDSN_DEPTH from 16 -> 64,
which is closer to a sane default for larger pipes @ 10 Gb/sec
with traditional iSCSI, or @ 40/56 Gb/sec Ethernet/Infiniband with
iSCSI Extentions for RDMA.
There is really no downside to increasing this default value for
1 Gb/sec.

This patch removes an unnecessary wait_for_completion within
iscsi_get_thread_set(), that would wait for 1 second before
trying to obtain an inactive struct iscsi_thread_set from
iscsi_get_ts_from_inactive_list().
Since iscsi_allocate_thread_sets() will already be adding the
newly allocated iscsi_thread_set to the inactive list directly,
there is no need to wait here.

This patch removes the iscsi_thread_set->[rx,tx]_post_start_comp that
was originally used synchronize startup between rx and tx threads within
a single thread_set.
Instead, use a single ->ts_activate_sem in iscsi_activate_thread_set()
to wait for both processes to awake in the RX/TX pre handlers.
Also, go ahead and refactor thread_set deallocate code into a common
iscsi_deallocate_thread_one(), and update iscsi_deallocate_thread_sets()
and iscsi_deallocate_extra_thread_sets() use this code

- Make iscsi_deallocate_thread_one defined as static (Fengguang)
v2 changes:
- Set ISCSI_THREAD_SET_ACTIVE before calling complete in
iscsi_activate_thread_set
- Protect ts->conn sanity checks with ->ts_state_lock in

"This pull I usually do after rc1 is out but because we have a nice
amount of fixes, some bootup related fixes for ARM, and it is early in
the cycle we figured to do it now to help with tracking of potential
regressions.
The simple ones are the ARM ones - one of the patches fell through the
cracks, other fixes a bootup issue (unconditionally using Xen
functions). Then a fix for a regression causing preempt count being
off (patch causing this went in v3.12).
Lastly are the fixes to make Xen PVHVM guests use PV ticketlocks (Xen
PV already does).
The enablement of that was supposed to be part of the x86 spinlock
merge in commit 816434ec4a67 ("The biggest change here are
paravirtualized ticket spinlocks (PV spinlocks), which bring a nice
speedup on various benchmarks...") but unfortunatly it would cause
hang when booting Xen PVHVM guests. Yours truly got all of the bugs
fixed last week and they (six of them) are included in this pull.

When adding cpuidle support to pSeries, we introduced two
regressions:
- The new cpuidle backend driver only works under hypervisors
supporting the "SLPLAR" option, which isn't the case of the
old POWER4 hypervisor and the HV "light" used on js2x blades
- The cpuidle driver registers fairly late, meaning that for
a significant portion of the boot process, we end up having
all threads spinning. This slows down the boot process and
increases the overall resource usage if the hypervisor has
shared processors.
This fixes both by implementing a "default" idle that will cede
to the hypervisor when possible, in a very simple way without
all the bells and whisles of cpuidle.

powerpc allmodconfig build fails with:

The problem was introduced with commit 15863ff3b (powerpc: Make chip-id
