The session key should be encoded with just the 8 data bytes and
no length; ENCODE_DATA precedes it with a 4 byte length, which
confuses some existing tools that try to parse this format.
Add an ENCODE_BYTES macro that does not include a length, and use
it for the key. Also adjust the expected length.
Note that commit 774521f353e1d ("rxrpc: Fix an assertion in
rxrpc_read()") had fixed a BUG by changing the length rather than
fixing the encoding. The original length was correct.

If debugging is disabled, print_constraints() does not print the actual
constraints, but still performs some processing and string formatting,
only to throw away the result later.
Fix this by moving all constraint debug processing to a separate
function, and replacing it by a dummy when debugging is disabled.
This reduces kernel size by almost 800 bytes (on arm/arm64).

The cpufreq core handles the updates to policy->cur and recording of
cpufreq trace events for all the governors except schedutil's fast
switch case.
Move that as well to cpufreq core for consistency and readability.

In order to prepare for lock-less stats update, add support to defer any
updates to it until cpufreq_stats_record_transition() is called.
The stats were updated from two places earlier:
- show_time_in_state(): This can be easily deferred, all we need is to
calculate the delta duration again in this routine to show the current
state's time-in-state.
- store_reset(): This is a bit tricky as we need to clear the stats
here and avoid races with simultaneous call to
cpufreq_stats_record_transition().
Fix that by deferring the reset of the stats (within the code) to the
next call to cpufreq_stats_record_transition(), but since we need to
keep showing the right stats until that time, we capture the reset
time and account for the time since last time reset was called until
the time cpufreq_stats_record_transition() update the stats.
User space will continue seeing the stats correctly, everything will
be 0 after the stats are reset, apart from the time-in-state of the
current state, until the time a frequency switch happens.

The original intent of 84d3f6b76447 was to delay evaluating lid state until
all drivers have been loaded, with input device being opened from userspace
serving as a signal for this condition. Let's ensure that state updates
happen even if userspace closed (or in the future inhibited) input device.
Note that if we go through suspend/resume cycle we assume the system has
been fully initialized even if LID input device has not been opened yet.
This has a side-effect of fixing access to input->users outside of
input->mutex protections by the way of eliminating said accesses and using
driver private flag.

Evaluating ACPI _BCL could fail, then ACPI buffer size will be set to 0.
When reuse this ACPI buffer, AE_BUFFER_OVERFLOW will be triggered.
Re-initialize buffer size will make ACPI evaluate successfully.

This change fixes HS400 tuning for devices with invalid presets.
SDHCI presets are not currently used for eMMC HS/HS200/HS400, but are
used for DDR52. The HS400 retuning sequence is:
HS400->DDR52->HS->HS200->Perform Tuning->HS->HS400
This means that when HS400 tuning happens, we transition through DDR52
for a very brief period. This causes presets to be enabled
unintentionally and stay enabled when transitioning back to HS200 or
HS400. Some firmware has invalid presets, so we end up with driver
strengths that can cause I/O problems.

When running as Xen dom0 the kernel isn't responsible for selecting the
error handling mode, this should be handled by the hypervisor.
So disable setting FF mode when running as Xen pv guest. Not doing so
might result in boot splats like:

The VCPUOP_register_runstate_memory_area hypercall takes a virtual
address of a buffer as a parameter. The semantics of the hypercall are
such that the virtual address should always be valid.
When KPTI is enabled and we are running userspace code, the virtual
address is not valid, thus, Linux is violating the semantics of
VCPUOP_register_runstate_memory_area.
Do not call VCPUOP_register_runstate_memory_area when KPTI is enabled.

There seems to be a bug in the original code when gntdev_get_page()
is called with writeable=true then the page needs to be marked dirty
before being put.
To address this, a bool writeable is added in gnt_dev_copy_batch, set
it in gntdev_grant_copy_seg() (and drop `writeable` argument to
gntdev_get_page()) and then, based on batch->writeable, use
set_page_dirty_lock().

Currently, the memory containing DT is not reserved. Thus, that region
of memory can be reallocated or reused for other purposes. This may result
in corrupted DT for nommu virt board in Qemu. We may not face any issue
in kendryte as DT is embedded in the kernel image for that.

Openvswitch allows to drop a packet's Ethernet header, therefore
skb_mpls_push() and skb_mpls_pop() might be called with ethernet=true
and mac_len=0. In that case the pointer passed to skb_mod_eth_type()
doesn't point to an Ethernet header and the new Ethertype is written at
unexpected locations.
Fix this by verifying that mac_len is big enough to contain an Ethernet
header.

When mvneta_txq_sw_init() fails to alloc txq->tso_hdrs,
it frees without poisoning txq->buf. The error is caught
in the mvneta_setup_txqs() caller which handles the error
by cleaning up all of the txqs with a call to
mvneta_txq_sw_deinit which also frees txq->buf.
Since mvneta_txq_sw_deinit is a general cleaner, all of the
partial cleaning in mvneta_txq_sw_deinit()'s error handling
is not needed.

Although we take RTNL on dump path, it is possible to
skip RTNL on insertion path. So the following race condition
is possible:
rtnl_lock() // no rtnl lock
mutex_lock(&idrinfo->lock);
// insert ERR_PTR(-EBUSY)
mutex_unlock(&idrinfo->lock);
tc_dump_action()
rtnl_unlock()
So we have to skip those temporary -EBUSY entries on dump path
too.

The variable "i" isn't initialized back correctly after the first loop
under the label inst_rollback gets executed.
The value of "i" is assigned to be option_count - 1, and the ensuing
loop (under alloc_rollback) begins by initializing i--.
Thus, the value of i when the loop begins execution will now become
i = option_count - 2.
Thus, when kfree(dst_opts[i]) is called in the second loop in this
order, (i.e., inst_rollback followed by alloc_rollback),
dst_optsp[option_count - 2] is the first element freed, and
dst_opts[option_count - 1] does not get freed, and thus, a memory
leak is caused.
This memory leak can be fixed, by assigning i = option_count (instead of
option_count - 1).

If the PVT sensor is suddenly powered down while a caller is waiting for
the conversion completion, the request won't be finished and the task will
hang up on this procedure until the power is back up again. Let's call the
wait_for_completion_timeout() method instead to prevent that. The cached
timeout is exactly what we need to predict for how long conversion could
normally last.

Instead of converting the update timeout data to the milliseconds each
time on the read procedure let's preserve the currently set timeout in the
dedicated driver private data cache. The cached value will be then used in
the timeout read method and in the alarm-less data conversion to prevent
the caller task hanging up in case if the PVT sensor is suddenly powered
down.

Baikal-T1 PVT sensor has got a dedicated power supply domain (feed up by
the external GPVT/VPVT_18 pins). In case if it isn't powered up, the
registers will be accessible, but the sensor conversion just won't happen.
Due to that an attempt to read data from any PVT sensor will cause the
task hanging up. For instance that will happen if XP11 jumper isn't
installed on the Baikal-T1-based BFK3.1 board. Let's at least test whether
the conversion work on the device probe procedure. By doing so will make
sure that the PVT sensor is powered up at least at boot time.

This patch adds hwmon functionality for Intel MAX 10 BMC chip. This BMC
chip connects to a set of sensor chips to monitor current, voltage,
thermal and power of different components on board. The BMC firmware is
responsible for sensor data sampling and recording in shared registers.
Host driver reads the sensor data from these shared registers and
exposes them to users as hwmon interfaces.

Add support for mp295 device from Monolithic Power Systems, Inc. (MPS)
vendor. This is a dual-loop, digital, multi-phase controller.
This device:
- Supports two power rail.
- Provides 8 pulse-width modulations (PWMs), and can be configured up
to 8-phase operation for rail 1 and up to 4-phase operation for rail
2.
- Supports two pages 0 and 1 for telemetry and also pages 2 and 3 for
configuration.
- Can configured VOUT readout in direct or VID format and allows
setting of different formats on rails 1 and 2. For VID the following
protocols are available: VR13 mode with 5-mV DAC; VR13 mode with

Pinned pages are not properly accounted particularly when
mapping error occurs on IOTLB update. Clean up dangling
pinned pages for the error path. As the inflight pinned
pages, specifically for memory region that strides across
multiple chunks, would need more than one free page for
book keeping and accounting. For simplicity, pin pages
for all memory in the IOVA range in one go rather than
have multiple pin_user_pages calls to make up the entire
region. This way it's easier to track and account the
pages already mapped, particularly for clean-up in the
error path.

When the IOTLB device is enabled, the log_guest_addr that is passed by
userspace to the VHOST_SET_VRING_ADDR ioctl, and which is then written
to vq->log_addr, is a GIOVA. All writes to this address are translated
by log_user() to writes to an HVA, and then ultimately logged through
the corresponding GPAs in log_write_hva(). No logging will ever occur
with vq->log_addr in this case. It is thus wrong to pass vq->log_addr
and log_guest_addr to log_access_vq() which assumes they are actual
GPAs.
Introduce a new vq_log_used_access_ok() helper that only checks accesses
to the log for the used structure when there isn't an IOTLB device around.

The open-coded computation of the used size doesn't take the event
into account when the VIRTIO_RING_F_EVENT_IDX feature is present.
Fix that by using vhost_get_used_size().

When the IOTLB device is enabled, the vring addresses we get
from userspace are GIOVAs. It is thus wrong to pass them down
to access_ok() which only takes HVAs.
Access validation is done at prefetch time with IOTLB. Teach
vq_access_ok() about that by moving the (vq->iotlb) check
from vhost_vq_access_ok() to vq_access_ok(). This prevents
vhost_vring_set_addr() to fail when verifying the accesses.
No behavior change for vhost_vq_access_ok().
