This changes module_platform_driver_probe() to module_platform_driver()
in the TI DaVinci MMC driver.
On device tree systems, we can get a -EPROBE_DEFER when using a pinmux
for the CD GPIO, which results in the driver never loading because
module_platform_driver_probe() prevents it from being re-probed.
So, we replace module_platform_driver_probe() with
module_platform_driver() and removed the __init attributes accordingly.

As the clock handling is now done elsewhere, this is only used when
power management is enabled. We could make the functions as __maybe_unused,

Tetsuo reported random crashes under memory pressure on 32-bit x86
system and tracked down to change that introduced
page_vma_mapped_walk().
The root cause of the issue is the faulty pointer math in check_pte().
As ->pte may point to an arbitrary page we have to check that they are
belong to the section before doing math. Otherwise it may lead to weird
results.
It wasn't noticed until now as mem_map[] is virtually contiguous on
flatmem or vmemmap sparsemem. Pointer arithmetic just works against all
'struct page' pointers. But with classic sparsemem, it doesn't because
each section memap is allocated separately and so consecutive pfns
crossing two sections might have struct pages at completely unrelated
addresses.
Let's restructure code a bit and replace pointer arithmetic with
operations on pfns.

Platforms with a panic handler that halts the system can have problems
getting kernel messages out, because the panic notifiers are called
before kernel/panic.c does its flushing of printk buffers an console
etc.
This was attempted to be solved with commit a3b2cb30f252 ("powerpc: Do
not call ppc_md.panic in fadump panic notifier"), but that wasn't the
right approach and caused other problems, and was reverted by commit
ab9dbf771ff9.
Instead, the powernv shutdown paths have already had a similar
problem, fixed by taking the message flushing sequence from
kernel/panic.c. That's a little bit ugly, but while we have the code
duplicated, it will work for this case as well. So have ppc panic
handlers do the same flushing before they terminate.
Without this patch, a qemu pseries_le_defconfig guest stops silently
when issued the nmi command when xmon is off and no crash dumpers
enabled. Afterwards, an oops is printed by each CPU as expected.

So far, the caller of mlxsw_afa_block_append_counter needed to allocate
counter index by hand. Benefit from the previously introduced resource
infra and counter_index_get/put callbacks, and allocate the counter
index in place where it is needed, inside the action append function.

Since the resource list needs to be used also for other entries different
to fwd_entry_ref, make the list generic. For that purpose, introduce a
resource structure with couple of helpers that the code which need to
store a per-block resource should use.

The detailed reset sequence ensures all HW components are in aligned
state before NIC startup. It also supports cards with signed firmware (RBL)
and checks if their FW is valid.

Driver contained a dead code of maintaining multiple pci port instances.
That will never be used since for each pci function a separate NIC
instance is created.
Simplify this, making pci module only responsible for pci resource
management.
NIC initialization is also simplified accordingly.

A number of new AQC devices is going to be released. To support more
flexible capabilities management a number of static caps instances is now
declared. Devices now are mainly differs by supported speeds, but in future
more parameters will be customized. A set of AQC100 devices have
fibre media, not twisted pair - this is also reflected in
new capabilities definitions.
HW level also now directly exports hw_ops for each of A0/B0 hardware.
PCI configuration now uses a device configuration table where each
device ID is explicitly mapped with hardware OPs and capabilities
structures.

New set of aquantia devices has an upgraded hardware (B1).
The hardware interface is identical to B0. The difference will
be in firmware which is incompatible with old one.

Previously it was possible to interrupt processing stats updates because
they were handled in a work queue. Interrupting the stats updates could
lead to a situation where we backup the control message queue. This patch
moves the stats update processing out of the work queue to be processed as
soon as hardware sends a request.

Helmut reported a bug about division by zero while
running traffic and doing physical cable pull test.
When the cable unplugged the ppms become zero, so when
dividing the current ppms by the previous ppms in the
next dim iteration there is division by zero.
This patch prevent this division for both ppms and epms.

The zeroday builder notices that since Usermode Linux does not
have IO memory, the build fails for them when selecting everything
it can enable.
As the driver is clearly using memory-mapped registers to access
the network adapter, we add depends on HAS_IOMEM to solve this
problem.

Currently it's possible that a thread on PPC64 LE has its endianness
flipped inadvertently to Big-Endian resulting in a crash once the process
is back from the signal handler.
If giveup_all() is called when regs->msr has the bits MSR.FP and MSR.VEC
disabled (and hence MSR.VSX disabled too) it returns without calling
check_if_tm_restore_required() which copies regs->msr to ckpt_regs->msr if
the process caught a signal whilst in transactional mode. Then once in
setup_tm_sigcontexts() MSR from ckpt_regs.msr is used, but since
check_if_tm_restore_required() was not called previuosly, gp_regs[PT_MSR]
gets a copy of invalid MSR bits as MSR in ckpt_regs was not updated from
regs->msr and so is zeroed. Later when leaving the signal handler once in
sys_rt_sigreturn() the TS bits of gp_regs[PT_MSR] are checked to determine
if restore_tm_sigcontexts() must be called to pull in the correct MSR state
into the user context. Because TS bits are zeroed
restore_tm_sigcontexts() is never called and MSR restored from the user
context on returning from the signal handler has the MSR.LE (the endianness
bit) forced to zero (Big-Endian). That leads, for instance, to 'nop' being
treated as an illegal instruction in the following sequence:

on PPC64 LE machines and the process dies just after returning from the
signal handler.
PPC64 BE is also affected but in a subtle way since forcing Big-Endian on
a BE machine does not change the endianness.
This commit fixes the issue described above by ensuring that once in
setup_tm_sigcontexts() the MSR used is from regs->msr instead of from
ckpt_regs->msr and by ensuring that we pull in only the MSR.FP, MSR.VEC,
and MSR.VSX bits from ckpt_regs->msr.
The fix was tested both on LE and BE machines and no regression regarding
the powerpc/tm selftests was observed.

The thread switch control register (TSCR) is a per core register
that configures how the CPU shares resources between SMT threads.

radix__flush_tlb_all() is called only in kexec path in real mode and any
tracepoints at this stage will make kexec to fail if enabled.
To verify enable tlbie trace before kexec.
$ echo 1 > /sys/kernel/debug/tracing/events/powerpc/tlbie/enable
== kexec into new kernel and kexec fails.
Fix this by not calling trace_tlbie from radix__flush_tlb_all().

During a kdump kernel boot in PowerPC, we request a reset of the PHBs
to the FW. It makes sense, since if we are booting a kdump kernel it
means we had some trouble before and we cannot rely in the adapters'
health; they could be in a bad state, hence the reset is needed.
But this reset is useful not only in kdump - there are situations,
specially when debugging drivers, that we could break an adapter in
a way it requires such reset. One can tell to just go ahead and
reboot the machine, but happens that many times doing kexec is much
faster, and so preferable than a full power cycle.
This patch adds the ppc_pci_reset_phbs parameter to perform such reset.

As of 438cc81a41 "powerpc/pseries: Automatically resize HPT for memory hot
add/remove" when running on the pseries platform, we always attempt to
use the PAPR extension to resize the hashed page table (HPT) when we add
or remove memory.
This is fine, but when the extension is available we'll give a harmless,
but scary warning. This patch suppresses the warning in this case. It
will still warn if the feature is supposed to be available, but didn't
work.

Symbolic macros are unintuitive and hard to read, whereas octal constants
are much easier to interpret. Replace macros for the basic permission
flags (user/group/other read/write/execute) with numeric constants
instead, across the whole powerpc tree.
Introducing a significant number of changes across the tree for no runtime
benefit isn't exactly desirable, but so long as these macros are still
used in the tree people will keep sending patches that add them. Not only
are they hard to parse at a glance, there are multiple ways of coming to
the same value (as you can see with 0444 and 0644 in this patch) which
hurts readability.

6) Remove log message that several netfilter subsystems print at
boot/load time.
7) Restore x_tables module autoloading, that got broken in a previous
patch to allow singleton NAT hook callback registration per hook
spot, from Florian Westphal. Moreover, return EBUSY to report that
the singleton NAT hook slot is already in instead.
8) Several fixes for the new nf_tables flowtable representation,
including incorrect error check after nf_tables_flowtable_lookup(),
missing Kconfig dependencies that lead to build breakage and missing
initialization of priority and hooknum in flowtable object.
9) Missing NETFILTER_FAMILY_ARP dependency in Kconfig for the clusterip
target. This is due to recent updates in the core to shrink the hook
array size and compile it out if no specific family is enabled via
.config file. Patch from Florian Westphal.
10) Remove duplicated include header files, from Wei Yongjun.
11) Sparse warning fix for the NFPROTO_INET handling from the core
due to missing static function definition, also from Wei Yongjun.
12) Restore ICMPv6 Parameter Problem error reporting when
defragmentation fails, from Subash Abhinov Kasiviswanathan.
13) Remove obsolete owner field initialization from struct
file_operations, patch from Alexey Dobriyan.
14) Use boolean datatype where needed in the Netfilter codebase, from
Gustavo A. R. Silva.
15) Remove double semicolon in dynset nf_tables expression, from
Luis de Bethencourt.
