2020-03-30net: hns3: fix set and get link ksettings issueGuangbin Huang
When device is not open, the service task which update the port information per second is not running. In this case, the port capabilities, including speed ability, autoneg ability, media type, may be incorrect. Then get/set link ksetting may fail. This patch fixes it by updating the port information before getting/ setting link ksettings when device is not open, and start timer task immediately by setting delay time to 0 when device opens. 2020-03-30net: hns3: fix RSS config lost after VF reset.Guojia Liao
Currently, VF's RSS configuration would be set to default after VF reset, the the user's one will loss. To fix it, this patch separates hclgevf_rss_init_hw() into two parts, one sets up the default RSS configuration and just be called when driver loading, one configures the hardware and be called by driver loading or reset. Xin Long says: On udp rx path udp_rcv_segment() may do segment where the frag skbs will get the header copied from the head skb in skb_segment_list() by calling __copy_skb_header(), which could overwrite the frag skbs' extensions by __skb_ext_copy() and cause a leak. This issue was found after loading esp_offload where a sec path ext is set in the skb. Fix this by discarding head state of the fraglist skb before replacing its contents. Without NAPI_GRO_CB(skb)->is_flist initialized, when the dev doesn't support NETIF_F_GRO_FRAGLIST, is_flist can still be set and fraglist will be used in udp_gro_receive(). 2020-03-30Crypto: chelsio - Fixes a hang issue during driver registrationAyush Sawal
This issue occurs only when multiadapters are present. Hang happens because assign_chcr_device returns u_ctx pointer of adapter which is not yet initialized as for this adapter cxgb_up is not been called yet. The last_dev pointer is used to determine u_ctx pointer and it is initialized two times in chcr_uld_add in chcr_dev_add respectively. The fix here is don't initialize the last_dev pointer during chcr_uld_add. Only assign to value to it when the adapter's initialization is completed i.e in chcr_dev_add. 2020-03-30selftests:mptcp: fix failure due to whitespace damageMatthieu Baerts
'pm_nl_ctl' was adding a trailing whitespace after having printed the IP. But at the end, the IP element is currently always the last one. The bash script launching 'pm_nl_ctl' had trailing whitespaces in the expected result on purpose. But these whitespaces have been removed when the patch has been applied upstream. To avoid trailing whitespaces in the bash code, 'pm_nl_ctl' and expected results have now been adapted. The MPTCP PM selftest can now pass again. 2020-03-30x86/xen: Make the secondary CPU idle tasks reliableMiroslav Benes
The unwinder reports the secondary CPU idle tasks' stack on XEN PV as unreliable, which affects at least live patching. cpu_initialize_context() sets up the context of the CPU through VCPUOP_initialise hypercall. After it is woken up, the idle task starts in cpu_bringup_and_idle() function and its stack starts at the offset right below pt_regs. The unwinder correctly detects the end of stack there but it is confused by NULL return address in the last frame. Introduce a wrapper in assembly, which just calls cpu_bringup_and_idle(). The return address is thus pushed on the stack and the wrapper contains the annotation hint for the unwinder regarding the stack state. 2020-03-30x86/xen: Make the boot CPU idle task reliableMiroslav Benes
The unwinder reports the boot CPU idle task's stack on XEN PV as unreliable, which affects at least live patching. There are two reasons for this. First, the task does not follow the x86 convention that its stack starts at the offset right below saved pt_regs. It allows the unwinder to easily detect the end of the stack and verify it. Second, startup_xen() function does not store the return address before jumping to xen_start_kernel() which confuses the unwinder. Amend both issues by moving the starting point of initial stack in startup_xen() and storing the return address before the jump, which is exactly what call instruction does. 2020-03-30xen-pciback: fix INTERRUPT_TYPE_* definesMarek Marczykowski-Górecki
xen_pcibk_get_interrupt_type() assumes INTERRUPT_TYPE_NONE being 0 (initialize ret to 0 and return as INTERRUPT_TYPE_NONE). Fix the definition to make INTERRUPT_TYPE_NONE really 0, and also shift other values to not leave holes. But also, do not assume INTERRUPT_TYPE_NONE being 0 anymore to avoid similar confusions in the future. We changed these sysfs filenames: .../pci_bus/<domain:bus>/rescan -> .../pci_bus/<domain:bus>/bus_rescan .../<domain:bus:dev.fn>/rescan -> .../<domain:bus:dev.fn>/dev_rescan and Ruslan reported [1] that this broke a userspace application. Revert these name changes so both files are named "rescan" again. Note that we have to use __ATTR() to assign custom C symbols, i.e., "struct device_attribute <symbol>". In certain cases we should be able to enumerate IO and MEM ranges of all PCI devices installed in the system, and then set respective host bridge apertures basing on calculated size and alignment. Particularly when firmware is broken and fails to assign bridge windows properly, like on Alpha UP1500 platform. Actually, almost everything is already in place, and required changes are minimal: - add "size_windows" flag to struct pci_host_bridge: when set, it instructs __pci_bus_size_bridges() to continue with the root bus; - in the __pci_bus_size_bridges() path: add checks for bus->self, as it can legitimately be null for the root bus. 2020-03-30gfs2: Fix oversight in gfs2_ail1_flushBob Peterson
Ordinarily, function gfs2_ail1_start_one issues a write request for one item on the ail1 list, then returns -EBUSY. This makes the caller, gfs2_ail1_flush, loop around and start another. However, it was not clearing the -EBUSY return code each time through the loop. So on rare occasions, like when the wbc runs out of nr_to_write, it remained set to -EBUSY, which triggered an error and withdraw.
