Pull GPIO updates from Linus Walleij:
"This is the bulk of GPIO changes for the v3.12 series:
- A new driver for the TZ1090 PDC which is used on the metag
architecture.
- A new driver for the Kontron ETX or COMexpress GPIO block. This is
found on some ETX x86 devices.
- A new driver for the Fintek Super-I/O chips, used on some x86
boards.
- Added device tree probing on a few select GPIO blocks.
- Drop the Exynos support from the Samsung GPIO driver.
The Samsung maintainers have moved over to use the modernized pin
control driver to provide GPIO for the modern platforms instead.
- The usual bunch of non-critical fixes and cleanups"

The extra new ABS_xx values resulted in ABS_MAX no longer being a
power-of-two, which broke the comparison logic. It also caused the
ioctl numbers to overflow into the next byte, causing problems for that.
We'll try again for 3.13.

86a264ab "CRED: Wrap current->cred and a few other accessors" converted
all uses of current->cred into current_cred() but left s390 alone.
So let's convert s390 finally as well, only five years later.
This way we also get rid of a sparse warning which complains about a
possible invalid rcu dereference which however is a false positive.

Let's get rid of another sparse false positive:
drivers/s390/crypto/ap_bus.c:416:64: warning:
cast truncates bits from constant value (102030405060708 becomes 5060708)
So instead of using a cast let's use an and-mask.
That way sparse remains silent and one doesn't always have to check
if this is a valid warning/bug or just a false positive.

Pointer arithmetics with function pointers is not really defined, but
seems to do the right thing. Let's cast to a void pointer to have a

If UML is not run by a shell it can happen that UML
will kill unrelated proceses upon a fatal exit because
it issues a kill(0, ...).
To prevent such oddities we create a new session in main().

Richard reported that some UML processes survive if the UML
main process receives a SIGTERM.
This issue was caused by a wrongly placed signal(SIGTERM, SIG_DFL)
in init_new_thread_signals().
It disabled the UML exit handler accidently for some processes.
The correct solution is to disable the fatal handler for all
UML helper threads/processes.
Such that last_ditch_exit() does not get called multiple times
and all processes can exit due to SIGTERM.

UML's block device driver does not support write barriers,
to support this this patch adds REQ_FLUSH suppport.
Every time the block layer sends a REQ_FLUSH we fsync() now
our backing file to guarantee data consistency.

UML needs it's own probe_kernel_read() to handle kernel
mode faults correctly.
The implementation uses mincore() on the host side to detect
whether a page is owned by the UML kernel process.
This fixes also a possible crash when sysrq-t is used.
Starting with 3.10 sysrq-t calls probe_kernel_read() to
read details from the kernel workers. As kernel worker are
completely async pointers may turn NULL while reading them.

The spec suggests that we should use _OST to notify the platform
about the status of notifications it sends us, for example so that
it doesn't repeate a notification that has been handled already.
This turns out to help reduce the amount of diagnostic output from
the ACPIPHP subsystem and speed up boot on at least one system that
generates multiple device check notifies for PCIe devices on the root
bus during boot.

Sometimes we may get a spurious device check or bus check notify for
a hotplug device and in those cases we should avoid doing all of the
configuration work needed when something actually changes. To that
end, check the return value of pci_scan_slot() in enable_slot() and
bail out early if it is 0.
This turns out to help reduce the amount of diagnostic output from

It might be possible for two callers to race the mutex lock after the
NULL ctx check. Instead, move the lock above the check so there isn't
the possibility of leaking a crypto ctx. Additionally, report the full
algo name when failing.

UIC attributes can be set with using DME_SET command for
power mode change. For configuration the link capability
attributes are used, which is updated after successful
link startup.

Setting PA_PWRMode using DME_SET triggers the power mode
change. And then the result will be given by the HCS.UPMCRS.
This operation should be done atomically.

IACTH(Interrupt aggregation counter threshold) value is allowed
up to 0x1F and current setting value is the maximum.
This value is related with NUTRS(max:0x20) of HCI's capability.
Considering HCI controller doesn't support the maximum, IACTH
setting should be adjusted with possible value.
For that, existing 'ufshcd_config_int_aggr' is split into two part
[reset, configure].

Unlike 'GOOD' and 'CHECK CONDITION', other status values in
Response UPIU may or may not contain sense data. That is returning
sense data isn't obvious. So, in this case the Data Segment Length
field should be checked. If a non-zero value, it means that UPIU
has Sense Data in the Data Segment area.

When transitioning away from vgacon the system tries to save the
current contents of the VGA memory, so that it can be cleanly handed
off to fbcon (or whatever comes afterwards).

i915: Update VGA arbiter support for newer devices
caused i915 to disable VGA memory decode for the IGD when i915 is
initializing. Unfortunately that happens before the vgacon->fbcon
handoff so vgacon_save_screen() will read out all ones from the
VGA memory.
After the handoff fbcon will inherit the bogus state from vgacon,
and pre-fills the fb with matching contents. The end result is
a white rectangle in the top left corner of the screen, the size
of which matches the now inactive VGA console.
To remedy the situation delay the disabling of VGA memory until
the vgacon->fbcon handoff has happened.
Also rename i915_enable_vga to i915_enable_vga_mem to make
the relationship between these functions clearer.

Since the _get_rate() helper has been modified to use __clk_lookup()
internally, checking of PLL input rates can be done using it and so the
registration code can be simplified.

This patch adds rate tables for PLLs that can be reconfigured at runtime
for Exynos4x12 SoCs. Provided tables contain PLL coefficients for
input clock of 24 MHz and so are registered only in this case. MPLL does
not need runtime reconfiguration and so table for it is not provided.

This patch adds rate tables for PLLs that can be reconfigured at runtime
for Exynos4210 SoCs. Provided tables contain PLL coefficients for
input clock of 24 MHz and so are registered only in this case. MPLL does
not need runtime reconfiguration and so table for it is not provided.

Since PLL input frequency must be known before PLL registration,
mout_vpllsrc clock which is a reference clock of VPLL must be registered
before VPLL.
This patch reorders clock registration to register mout_vpllsrc before
VPLL.

Since Exynos does not support legacy non-DT boot anymore, most of clock
lookups happen using device tree, so most of static clkdev aliases are no
longer necessary. This patch removes them.

There is no need to use clkdev inside the clock driver to retrieve the
clocks for internal use. Instead __clk_lookup() helper can be used to
look up clocks by their platform name.
This patch modifies the behavior of _get_rate() helper to look up clocks
by platform name and adjusts all users of it to pass platform names
instead of clkdev aliases.

Exynos cpufreq driver is the only remaining piece of code that needs
static clkdev aliases for operation, because it can not do device tree
based clock lookups yet.
This patch moves clock alias definitions for those clocks to separate
arrays that can be used with samsung_clk_register_alias() helper.

When booting with device tree static clkdev aliases should not be used.
This patch modifies the samsung_pwm_timer driver to use DT-based clock
lookup when booting with device tree.

Since pwm-samsung bindings require at least one clock to be specified,
this patch adds the missing clocks and clock-names properties to specify
clocks used by PWM block on Exynos4 SoCs.

PWM driver consumes at least one and up to three clocks, which need to be
specified in device tree when used. This patch updates bindings
documentation to add information about clocks.
