It seems that the CPUs part of the SoC known as Apple M1 have the
terrible habit of being stuck with HCR_EL2.E2H==1, in violation
of the architecture.
Try and work around this deplorable state of affairs by detecting
the stuck bit early and short-circuit the nVHE dance. Additional
filtering code ensures that attempts at switching to nVHE from
the command-line are also ignored.
It is still unknown whether there are many more such nuggets
to be found...

Some CPUs are broken enough that some overrides need to be rejected
at the earliest opportunity. In some cases, that's right at cpu
feature override time.
Provide the necessary infrastructure to filter out overrides,
and to report such filtered out overrides to the core cpufeature code.

Currently we require that software at a higher exception level initialise
all registers at the exception level the kernel will be entered prior to
starting the kernel in order to ensure that there is nothing uninitialised
which could result in an UNKNOWN state while running the kernel. The
expectation is that the software running at the highest exception levels
will be tightly coupled to the system and can ensure that all available
features are appropriately initialised and that the kernel can initialise
anything else.
There is a gap here in the case where new registers are added to lower
exception levels that require initialisation but the kernel does not yet
understand them. Extend the requirement to also include exception levels
below the one where the kernel is entered to cover this.

The arm64 FEAT_FGT extension introduces a set of traps to EL2 for accesses
to small sets of registers and instructions from EL1 and EL0. Currently
Linux makes no use of this feature, ensure that it is not active at boot by
disabling the traps during EL2 setup.

The arm64 FEAT_FGT extension introduces a set of traps to EL2 for accesses
to small sets of registers and instructions from EL1 and EL0, access to
which is controlled by EL3. Require access to it so that it is
available to us in future and so that we can ensure these traps are
disabled during boot.

In ice_suspend(), ice_clear_interrupt_scheme() is called, and then
irq_free_descs() will be eventually called to free irq and its descriptor.
In ice_resume(), ice_init_interrupt_scheme() is called to allocate new
irqs. However, in ice_rebuild_arfs(), struct irq_glue and struct cpu_rmap
maybe cannot be freed, if the irqs that released in ice_suspend() were
reassigned to other devices, which makes irq descriptor's affinity_notify
lost.
So call ice_free_cpu_rx_rmap() before ice_clear_interrupt_scheme(), which
can make sure all irq_glue and cpu_rmap can be correctly released before
corresponding irq and descriptor are released.
Fix the following memory leak.

Remove error handling through pointers. Instead use plain int
to return value from i40e_run_xdp(...).
Previously:
- sparse errors were produced during compilation:
i40e_txrx.c:2338 i40e_run_xdp() error: (-2147483647) too low for ERR_PTR
i40e_txrx.c:2558 i40e_clean_rx_irq() error: 'skb' dereferencing possible ERR_PTR()
- sk_buff* was used to return value, but it has never had valid
pointer to sk_buff. Returned value was always int handled as
a pointer.

Change parameters order in aq_get_phy_register() due to wrong

mte_assign_mem_tag_range() was added in commit 85f49cae4dfc
("arm64: mte: add in-kernel MTE helpers") in 5.11 but moved out of
mte.S by commit 2cb34276427a ("arm64: kasan: simplify and inline
MTE functions") in 5.12 and renamed to mte_set_mem_tag_range().
2cb34276427a did not delete the old function prototypes in mte.h.
Remove the unused prototype from mte.h.

When we enable SVE usage in userspace after taking a SVE access trap we
need to ensure that the portions of the register state that are not
shared with the FPSIMD registers are zeroed. Currently we do this by
forcing the FPSIMD registers to be saved to the task struct and converting
them there. This is wasteful in the common case where the task state is
loaded into the registers and we will immediately return to userspace
since we can initialise the SVE state directly in registers instead of
accessing multiple copies of the register state in memory.
Instead in that common case do the conversion in the registers and
update the task metadata so that we can return to userspace without
spilling the register state to memory unless there is some other reason
to do so.

Fixes for omaps for v5.12-rc cycle
Fix swapped mmc device order also for omap3 that got changed with the
recent PROBE_PREFER_ASYNCHRONOUS changes. While eventually the aliases
should be board specific, all the mmc device instances are all there in
the SoC, and we do probe them by default so that PM runtime can idle the
devices if left enabled from the bootloader.
Also included are two compiler warning fixes.

Pull close_range() fix from Christian Brauner:
"Syzbot reported a bug in close_range.
Debugging this showed we didn't recalculate the current maximum fd
number for CLOSE_RANGE_UNSHARE | CLOSE_RANGE_CLOEXEC after we unshared
the file descriptors table. As a result, max_fd could exceed the
current fdtable maximum causing us to set excessive bits.
As a concrete example, let's say the user requested everything from fd
4 to ~0UL to be closed and their current fdtable size is 256 with
their highest open fd being 4. With CLOSE_RANGE_UNSHARE the caller
will end up with a new fdtable which has room for 64 file descriptors
since that is the lowest fdtable size we accept. But now max_fd will
still point to 255 and needs to be adjusted. Fix this by retrieving
the correct maximum fd value in __range_cloexec().
I've carried this fix for a little while but since there was no
linux-next release over easter I waited until now.
With this change close_range() can be further simplified but imho we
are in no hurry to do that and so I'll defer this for the 5.13 merge
window"

ARM SCMI updates for v5.13
The major and big addition this time is to support modularisation of
individual SCMI protocols thus enabling to add support for vendors'
custom SCMI protocol. This changes the interface provided by the SCMI
driver to all the users of SCMI and hence involved changes in various
other subsystem SCMI drivers. The change has been split with a bit of
transient code to preserve bisectability and avoiding one big patch bomb
changing all the users.
This also includes SCMI IIO driver(pulled from IIO tree) and support for
per-cpu DVFS.

Given that no validation of how much data the firmware loader read in
for a given segment truncated segment files would best case result in a
hash verification failure, without any indication of what went wrong.
Improve this by validating that the firmware loader did return the
amount of data requested.

The code validates that segments of p_memsz bytes of a segment will fit
in the provided memory region, but does not validate that p_filesz bytes
will, which means that an incorrectly crafted ELF header might write
beyond the provided memory region.

Pull umount fix from Al Viro:
"Brown paperbag time: dumb braino in the series that went into 5.7
broke the 'don't step into ->d_weak_revalidate() when umount(2) looks
the victim up' behaviour.
Spotted only now - saw

and went "why do we clear that flag here - nothing below that point is
going to check it anyway" / "wait a minute, what is it doing *after*
complete_walk() (which is where we check that flag and call
->d_weak_revalidate())" / "how could that possibly _not_ break?",
followed by reproducing the breakage and verifying that the obvious
fix of that braino does, indeed, fix it.
The reproducer is (assuming that $DIR exists and is exported r/w to
localhost)

Correct behaviour is successful umount; broken kernels (5.7-rc1 and
later) get
umount.nfs4: /tmp/foo/a: Stale file handle
Note that bind mount is there to be able to recover - on broken
kernels we'd get stuck with impossible-to-umount filesystem if not for
that.
FWIW, that braino had been posted for review back then, at least
twice. Unfortunately, the call of complete_walk() was outside of diff
context, so the bogosity hadn't been immediately obvious from the
patch alone ;-/"

The commit in Fixes: changed the SGX EPC page sanitization to end up in
sgx_free_epc_page() which puts clean and sanitized pages on the free
list.
This was done for the reason that it is best to keep the logic to assign
available-for-use EPC pages to the correct NUMA lists in a single
location.
sgx_nr_free_pages is also incremented by sgx_free_epc_pages() but those
pages which are being added there per EPC section do not belong to the
free list yet because they haven't been sanitized yet - they land on the
dirty list first and the sanitization happens later when ksgxd starts
massaging them.
So remove that addition there and have sgx_free_epc_page() do that
solely.
