2014-12-05Bluetooth: Add support for enabling Extended Scanner Filter PoliciesMarcel Holtmann
The new Extended Scanner Filter Policies feature has to be enabled by selecting the correct filter policy for the scan parameters. This patch does that when the controller has been enabled to use LE Privacy. Signed-off-by: Marcel Holtmann <marcel@holtmann.org> Signed-off-by: Johan Hedberg <johan.hedberg@intel.com>
2014-12-05Bluetooth: Add support for handling LE Direct Advertising Report eventsMarcel Holtmann
When the controller sends a LE Direct Advertising Report event, the host must confirm that the resolvable random address provided matches with its own identity resolving key. If it does, then that advertising report needs to be processed. If it does not match, the report needs to be ignored. This patch adds full support for handling these new reports and using them for device discovery and connection handling. This means when a Bluetooth controller supports the Extended Scanner Filter Policies, it is possible to use directed advertising with LE privacy. 2014-12-05Bluetooth: Enabled LE Direct Advertising Report event if supportedMarcel Holtmann
When the controller supports the Extended Scanner Filter Policies, it supports the LE Direct Advertising Report event. However by default that event is blocked by the LE event mask. It is required to enable it during controller setup. Signed-off-by: Marcel Holtmann <marcel@holtmann.org> Signed-off-by: Johan Hedberg <johan.hedberg@intel.com>

2014-12-05Bluetooth: Move LE advertising report defines to the right locationMarcel Holtmann

This patch allows the testing of arbitrary hash functions specified by the alg module parameter by using them in mode 300 (for sync hash) and mode 400 (for async hash). For example, you could do modprobe tcrypt mode=300 alg='vmac(aes)' Signed-off-by: Herbert Xu <herbert@gondor.apana.org.au>

2014-12-05drm/i915: Handle inaccurate time conversion issuesDaniel Vetter
So apparently jiffies<->nsec<->ktime isn't accurate or something. At elast if we timeout there's occasionally still a few hundred us left (in a 2 second timeout). Stuff I've tried and thrown out again: - Sampling the before timestamp before jiffies. Doesn't improve test path rate at all. - Using jiffies. Way to inaccurate, which means way too much drift with signals plus automatic ioctl restarting in userspace. In hindsight we should have used an absolute timeout, but hey we need something for v3 of the i915 gem wait interfaces ;-) - Trying to figure out where accuracy gets lost. gl testcase really don't care all that much about this (as long as isn't not massively off), it's just that the testcase gets a bit upset if it receives an EITME with timeout > 0. So as long as we're in the ballbark it's good enough. So patch everything up if we're at most one jiffies off. I get's me a solid test again. This regression is probably introduced in commit 5ed0bdf21a85d78e04f89f15ccf227562177cbd9 Author: Thomas Gleixner <tglx@linutronix.de> Date: Wed Jul 16 21:05:06 2014 +0000 drm: i915: Use nsec based interfaces Use ktime_get_raw_ns() and get rid of the back and forth timespec conversions. 2014-12-05drm/i915: compute wait_ioctl timeout correctlyDaniel Vetter
We've lost the +1 required for correct timeouts in commit 5ed0bdf21a85d78e04f89f15ccf227562177cbd9 Author: Thomas Gleixner <tglx@linutronix.de> Date: Wed Jul 16 21:05:06 2014 +0000 drm: i915: Use nsec based interfaces Use ktime_get_raw_ns() and get rid of the back and forth timespec conversions. While at it bother with handling MAX_JIFFIES. v2: Convert to usecs (we don't care about the accuracy anyway) first to avoid overflow issues Dave Gordon spotted. v3: Drop the explicit MAX_JIFFY_OFFSET check, usecs_to_jiffies should take care of that already. It might be a bit too enthusiastic about it though. v4: Chris has a much nicer color, so use his implementation. This requires to export nsec_to_jiffies from time.c. We reused host EBX and ECX, but KVM might not support all features; emulated XSAVE size should be smaller. EBX depends on unknown XCR0, so we default to ECX. May be different than ECX if some features at the end of the XSAVE save area are not enabled. - EAX=0Dh, ECX=1: output registers EBX/ECX/EDX are reserved. - EAX=0Dh, ECX>1: output register ECX bit 0 is clear for all the CPUID leaves we support, because variable "supported" comes from XCR0 and not XSS. This is the size of the XSAVES area. This starts providing guest support for XSAVES (with no support yet for supervisor states, i.e. XSS == 0 always in guests for now). Wanpeng Li suggested testing XSAVEC as well as XSAVES, since in practice no real processor exists that only has one of them, and there is no other way for userspace programs to compute the area of the XSAVEC save area. CPUID(EAX=0xd,ECX=1).EBX provides an upper bound. 2014-12-05KVM: x86: support XSAVES usage in the hostPaolo Bonzini
Userspace is expecting non-compacted format for KVM_GET_XSAVE, but struct xsave_struct might be using the compacted format. Convert in order to preserve userspace ABI. Likewise, userspace is passing non-compacted format for KVM_SET_XSAVE but the kernel will pass it to XRSTORS, and we need to convert back. 2014-12-05Bluetooth: Add callback to create proper cmd_complete eventsJohan Hedberg
We've got a couple of generic scenarios where all pending mgmt commands are processed and responses are sent to them. These scenarios are powering off the adapter and removing the adapter. So far the code has been generating cmd_status responses with NOT_POWERED and INVALID_INDEX resposes respectively, but this violates the mgmt specification for commands that should always generate a cmd_complete. This patch adds support for specifying a callback for the pending_cmd context that each command handler can use for command-specific cmd_complete event generation. The actual per-command event generators will come in subsequent patches. Signed-off-by: Johan Hedberg <johan.hedberg@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Marcel Holtmann <marcel@holtmann.org>
