An object can be leaked for each block of executed module-level
code if the interpreter slack mode is enabled. The change deletes
any implicitly returned object in this case.

The decompressors return error by calling a supplied error function, and/or
by returning an error return value. The initramfs code, however, fails to
check the exit code returned by the decompressor, and only checks the error
status set by calling the error function.
This patch adds a return code check and calls the error function.

The trivial malloc implementation used in the pre-boot environment by the
decompressors returns a bad pointer on failure (falling through after
calling error). This is doubly wrong - the callers expect malloc to
return NULL on failure, second the error function is intended to be
used by the decompressors to propagate errors to *their* callers. The
decompressors have no access to any state set by the error function.

If the CLOSE or OPEN_DOWNGRADE call triggers a state recovery, and has
to be resent, then we must release the seqid. Otherwise the open
recovery will wait for the close to finish, which causes a deadlock.
This is mainly a NFSv4.1 problem, although it can theoretically happen
with NFSv4.0 too, in a OPEN_DOWNGRADE situation.

In device_resume_noirq() there is the 'End' label and the associated
goto statement that aren't strictly necessary, so rework the code to
get rid of them. Also modify device_suspend_noirq() so that it looks
completely analogous to device_resume_noirq().

In order to diagnose overall suspend/resume times, we need
basic instrumentation to break down the total time into per
device timing, similar to initcall_debug.
This patch adds the basic timing instrumentation, needed
for a scritps/bootgraph.pl equivalent or humans.
The bootgraph.pl program is still a work in progress, but
is far enough along to know that this patch is sufficient.

This patch (as1308c) fixes __pm_runtime_get(). Currently the routine
will resume a device if the prior usage count was 0. But this isn't
right; thanks to pm_runtime_get_noresume() the usage count can be
positive even while the device is suspended.

The instruction attribute table generator fails when run by mawk
or original-awk:
$ mawk -f arch/x86/tools/gen-insn-attr-x86.awk \
arch/x86/lib/x86-opcode-map.txt > /dev/null
Semantic error at 240: Second IMM error
$ echo $?
1
Line 240 contains "c8: ENTER Iw,Ib", which indicates that this
instruction has two immediate operands, the second of which is
one byte. The script loops through the immediate operands using
a for loop.
Unfortunately, there is no guarantee in awk that a for (variable
in array) loop will return the indices in increasing order.
Internally, both original-awk and mawk iterate over a hash table
for this purpose, and both implementations happen to produce the
index 2 before 1. The supposed second immediate operand is more
than one byte wide, producing the error.
So loop over the indices in increasing order instead. As a
side-effect, with mawk this means the silly two-entry hash table
never has to be built.

Fix perf probe to show which probe point is not found.
With out this patch, it shows just "No probe point found."
This doesn't help users if they specify several probes.
e.g.
# perf probe -f --add schedule --add test
Fatal: No probe point found.
This patch makes error message more helpful as below.
# perf probe --add schedule --add test
Fatal: Probe point 'test' not found. - probe not added.

Check build-id of vmlinux by using functions in symbol.c.
This also exposes map__load() for getting vmlinux path,
and removes vmlinux path list in builtin-probe.c,
because symbol.c already has that. Checking build-id
prevents users to open old or different debuginfo from
current running kernel.

also provides --force option which allows user to add additional
probe events on the same-name event.

Support event name syntax for --add option. This allows
users to specify event name for each new event.
The --add syntax is:
perf probe --add '[EVENT=]SRC:LINE ARGS'
or
perf probe --add '[EVENT=]FUNC[+OFFS|%return|:RLN][@SRC] ARGS'
e.g.
./perf probe --add myprobe1=schedule
Note: currently group name is not supported yet, because it
can cause name-space confliction with other tracepoint/
hw-breakpoint events.

The miss-alignment of bp_addr created a 32bit hole, causing
different structure packings on 32 and 64 bit machines.
Fix that by moving __reserve_2 into that hole.
Further, remove the useless struct and redundant __bp_reserve
muck.

On V4ROOT exports, only accept filehandles that are the *root* of some
export. This allows mountd to allow or deny access to individual
directories and symlinks on the pseudofilesystem.
Note that the checks in readdir and lookup are not enough, since a
malicious host with access to the network could guess filehandles that
they weren't able to obtain through lookup or readdir.

We want to allow exports of symlinks, to allow mountd to communicate to
the kernel which symlinks lead to exports, and hence which symlinks need
to be visible on the pseudofilesystem.

As with lookup, we treat every boject as a mountpoint and pretend it
doesn't exist if it isn't exported.
The preexisting code here is confusing, but I haven't yet figured out
how to make it clearer.

If /A/mount/point/ has filesystem "B" mounted on top of it, and if "A"
is exported, but not "B", then the nfs server has always returned to the
client a filehandle for the mountpoint, instead of for the root of "B",
allowing the client to see the subtree of "A" that would otherwise be
hidden by B.
Disable this behavior in the case of V4ROOT exports; we implement the
path restrictions of V4ROOT exports by treating *every* directory as if
it were a mountpoint, and allowing traversal *only* if the new directory
is exported.

NFSv4 differs from v2 and v3 in that it presents a single unified
filesystem tree, whereas v2 and v3 exported multiple filesystem (whose
roots could be found using a separate mount protocol).
Our original NFSv4 server implementation asked the administrator to
designate a single filesystem as the NFSv4 root, then to mount
filesystems they wished to export underneath. (Often using bind mounts
of already-existing filesystems.)
This was conceptually simple, and allowed easy implementation, but
created a serious obstacle to upgrading between v2/v3: since the paths
to v4 filesystems were different, administrators would have to adjust
all the paths in client-side mount commands when switching to v4.
Various workarounds are possible. For example, the administrator could
export "/" and designate it as the v4 root. However, the security risks
of that approach are obvious, and in any case we shouldn't be requiring
the administrator to take extra steps to fix this problem; instead, the
server should present consistent paths across different versions by
default.
These patches take a modified version of that approach: we provide a new
export option which exports only a subset of a filesystem. With this
flag, it becomes safe for mountd to export "/" by default, with no need
for additional configuration.
We begin just by defining the new flag.

If the rsize or wsize is not set on the mount command, negotiate the highest
supported rsize and wsize in session creation.
Fixes a bug where the client negotiated nfs41_maxwrite_overhead as
ca_maxrequestsize and nfs41_maxread_overhead as ca_maxresponsesize resulting
in NFS4ERR_REQ_TOO_BIG errors on writes.
