2020-03-26drm/i915/gt: Treat idling as a RPS downclock eventChris Wilson
If we park/unpark faster than we can respond to RPS events, we never will process a downclock event after expiring a waitboost, and thus we will forever restart the GPU at max clocks even if the workload switches and doesn't justify full power. 2020-03-26riscv: Add support to dump the kernel page tablesZong Li
In a similar manner to arm64, x86, powerpc, etc., it can traverse all page tables, and dump the page table layout with the memory types and permissions. Add a debugfs file at /sys/kernel/debug/kernel_page_tables to export the page table layout to userspace. Preserve two holes in fixmap area, so we can map the kernel code temporarily to fixmap area, then patch the instructions. We need two pages here because we support the compressed instruction, so the instruction might be align to 2 bytes. When patching the 32-bit length instruction which is 2 bytes alignment, it will across two pages. The kernel mapping will tried to optimize its mapping by using bigger size. In rv64, it tries to use PMD_SIZE, and tryies to use PGDIR_SIZE in rv32. To ensure that the start address of these sections could fit the mapping entry size, make them align to the biggest alignment. 2020-03-26drm/vboxvideo: Add missing remove_conflicting_pci_framebuffers call, v2Hans de Goede
The vboxvideo driver is missing a call to remove conflicting framebuffers. Surprisingly, when using legacy BIOS booting this does not really cause any issues. But when using UEFI to boot the VM then plymouth will draw on both the efifb /dev/fb0 and /dev/drm/card0 (which has registered /dev/fb1 as fbdev emulation). VirtualBox will actual display the output of both devices (I guess it is showing whatever was drawn last), this causes weird artifacts because of pitch issues in the efifb when the VM window is not sized at 1024x768 (the window will resize to its last size once the vboxvideo driver loads, changing the pitch). Adding the missing drm_fb_helper_remove_conflicting_pci_framebuffers() call fixes this.
