2013-02-25ARM: VFP: fix emulation of second VFP instructionRussell King

As we can see, the instruction triggering the exception is the "vmov" instruction, and we emulate the "vsub.f32 s4, s3, s2" but fail to properly take account of the FPEXC_FP2V flag in FPEXC. This is because the test for the second instruction register being valid is bogus, and will always skip emulation of the second instruction. 2013-02-25ARM: DMA-mapping: fix memory leak in IOMMU dma-mapping implementationMarek Szyprowski
This patch removes page_address() usage in IOMMU-aware dma-mapping implementation and replaced it with direct use of the cpu virtual address provided by the caller. page_address() returned incorrect address for pages remapped in atomic pool, what caused memory leak. 2013-02-25ARM: dma-mapping: Add maximum alignment order for dma iommu buffersSeung-Woo Kim

This patch adds EXPORT_SYMBOL_GPL calls to the three arm iommu functions - arm_iommu_create_mapping, arm_iommu_free_mapping and arm_iommu_attach_device. These three functions are arm specific wrapper functions for creating/freeing/using an iommu mapping and they are called by various drivers. 2013-02-25xen/acpi: xen memory hotplug minor updatesLiu Jinsong
Dan Carpenter found current xen memory hotplug logic has potential issue: at func acpi_memory_get_device() *mem_device = acpi_driver_data(device); while the device may be NULL and then dereference. 2013-02-24tty vt: fix character insertion overflowNicolas Pitre
Commit 81732c3b2fed ("tty vt: Fix line garbage in virtual console on command line edition") broke insert_char() in multiple ways. Then commit b1a925f44a3a ("tty vt: Fix a regression in command line edition") partially fixed it. However, the buffer being moved is still too large and overflowing beyond the end of the current line, corrupting existing characters on the next line. Example test case: echo -e "abc\nde\x1b[A\x1b[4h \x1b[4l\x1b[B" Expected result: ab c de Current result: ab c e Needless to say that this is very annoying when inserting words in the middle of paragraphs with certain text editors. 2013-02-24vmxnet3: fix ethtool ring buffer size settingNeil Horman
Noticed that vmxnet3's get_ringparam function was returning the summation of all ring buffers on a NIC, rather than just the size of any one ring. This causes problems when a vmxnet3 instance has multiple queues, as ethtool, when setting ring parameters, first gets the current ring parameters to set the existing values in the set_ringparm commannd. The result is, that unless both rx and tx ring sizes are set in a single operation, which ever ring is not set will silently have its ring count multiplied by the number of queues on the NIC until it reaches a driver defined maxiumum value. Fix it by not multiplying the rx and tx ring sizes by the number of queues in the system, like every other driver. Tested by myself successfully. Found another Lenovo ideapad S205 the product name is 1038DPG, it has a 0x78 EC register exposes the state of wifi hardware switch on the machine. So, add this patch to support Lenovo ideapad S205-1038DPG wifi hardware switch in acer-wmi driver. Evidently the Ideapad S205 is just a model name on the market, but they have totally different product name in DMI table. 2013-02-24asus-wmi: add display toggle quirkAceLan Kao
For machines with AMD graphic chips, it will send out WMI event and ACPI interrupt at the same time while hitting the hotkey. BIOS will notify the system the next display output mode throught WMI event code, so that windows' application can show an OSD to tell the user which mode will be taken effect. User can hit the display toggle key many times within 2 seconds to choose the mode they want. After 2 seconds, WMI dirver should send a WMIMethod(SDSP) command to tell the BIOS which mode the user chose. And then BIOS will raise another ACPI interrupt to tell the system to really switch the display mode. In Linux desktop, we don't have this kind of OSD to let users to choose the mode they want, so we don't need to call WMIMethod(SDSP) to have another ACPI interrupt. To simplify the problem, we just have to ignore the WMI event, and let the first ACPI interrupt to send out the key event. For the need, here comes another quirk to add machines with this kind of behavior. When the WMI driver receives the display toggle WMI event, and found the machin is in the list, it will do nothing and let ACPI video driver to report the key event.
