2017-03-07irqchip/gicv3-its: Add workaround for QDF2400 ITS erratum 0065Shanker Donthineni
On Qualcomm Datacenter Technologies QDF2400 SoCs, the ITS hardware implementation uses 16Bytes for Interrupt Translation Entry (ITE), but reports an incorrect value of 8Bytes in GITS_TYPER.ITTE_size. It might cause kernel memory corruption depending on the number of MSI(x) that are configured and the amount of memory that has been allocated for ITEs in its_create_device(). This patch fixes the potential memory corruption by setting the correct ITE size to 16Bytes. 2017-03-07clk: rockchip: Make uartpll a child of the gpll on rk3036Heiko Stuebner
The shared uart-pll is on boot a child of the apll that can get changed by cpu frequency scaling. So move it away to the more stable gpll to make sure the uart doesn't break on cpu frequency changes. This turned up during the 4.11 merge-window when commit 6a171b299379 ("serial: 8250_dw: Allow hardware flow control to be used") added general termios enablement making the uart on rk3036 change frequency and thus making it susceptible for the frequency scaling issue. 2017-03-07libceph: osd_request_timeout optionIlya Dryomov
osd_request_timeout specifies how many seconds to wait for a response from OSDs before returning -ETIMEDOUT from an OSD request. 0 (default) means no limit. osd_request_timeout is osdkeepalive-precise -- in-flight requests are swept through every osdkeepalive seconds. 2017-03-07libceph: don't set weight to IN when OSD is destroyedIlya Dryomov
Since ceph.git commit 4e28f9e63644 ("osd/OSDMap: clear osd_info, osd_xinfo on osd deletion"), weight is set to IN when OSD is deleted. This changes the result of applying an incremental for clients, not just OSDs. Because CRUSH computations are obviously affected, pre-4e28f9e63644 servers disagree with post-4e28f9e63644 clients on object placement, resulting in misdirected requests. 2017-03-07objtool: Fix another GCC jump table detection issueJosh Poimboeuf
Arnd Bergmann reported a (false positive) objtool warning: drivers/infiniband/sw/rxe/rxe_resp.o: warning: objtool: rxe_responder()+0xfe: sibling call from callable instruction with changed frame pointer The issue is in find_switch_table(). It tries to find a switch statement's jump table by walking backwards from an indirect jump instruction, looking for a relocation to the .rodata section. In this case it stopped walking prematurely: the first .rodata relocation it encountered was for a variable (resp_state_name) instead of a jump table, so it just assumed there wasn't a jump table. The fix is to ignore any .rodata relocation which refers to an ELF object symbol. This works because the jump tables are anonymous and have no symbols associated with them. 2017-03-07drm/nouveau/fb/gf100-: rework ram detectionBen Skeggs
This commit reworks the RAM detection algorithm, using RAM-per-LTC to determine whether a board has a mixed-memory configuration instead of using RAM-per-FBPA. I'm not certain the algorithm is perfect, but it should handle all currently known configurations in the very least. This should fix GTX 970 boards with 4GiB of RAM where the last 512MiB isn't fully accessible, as well as only detecting half the VRAM on GF108 boards. Since the HS blobs are provided and signed by NVIDIA, we cannot expect always-consistent behavior. In this case, on GP10x the unload blob may return 0x1d even though things have run perfectly well. This behavior has been confirmed by NVIDIA. So let the callers of the run_blob() hook receive the blob return's value (a positive integer) and decide what it means.
