This patch makes periph_clk_enb_refcnt a global array, dynamically allocated at boottime. It simplifies the macros somewhat and allows clocks common to several Tegra SoCs to be defined in a separate files. 2013-11-26clk: tegra: simplify periph clock dataPeter De Schrijver
This patch determines the register bank for clock enable/disable and reset based on the clock ID instead of hardcoding it in the tables describing the clocks. This results in less data to be maintained in the tables, making the code easier to understand. The full benefit of the change will be realized once also other clocktypes will be table based. 2013-11-26clk: tegra: Fix clock rate computationThierry Reding
The PLL output frequency is multiplied during the P-divider computation, so it needs to be divided by the P-divider again before returning. The power-on default parent for this clock is pll_m, which turns out to be wrong. Previously, bootloader reparented this clock. We'll do it in the kernel as well, so that there's one less thing that we depend on bootloader to initialize. Well, it covered the function tracer by adding checks in __register_ftrace_function(). The problem is that the function graph tracer circumvents that (for a slight efficiency gain when function graph trace is running with a function tracer. The gain was not worth this). The problem came with ftrace_startup() which should always be called after __register_ftrace_function(), if you want this bug to be completely fixed. Anyway, this solution moves __register_ftrace_function() inside of ftrace_startup() and removes the need to call them both. 2013-11-26can: flexcan: use correct clock as base for bit rate calculationMarc Kleine-Budde
The flexcan IP core uses the peripheral clock ("per") as basic clock for the bit timing calculation. However the driver uses the the wrong clock ("ipg"). This leads to wrong bit rates if the rates on both clock are different. This patch fixes the problem by using the correct clock for the bit rate calculation. 2013-11-26i2c: i2c-diolan-u2c: different usb endpoints for DLN-2-U2CMartin Vogt
The previous diolan adapter uses other out/in endpoints than the current DLN-2-U2C in compatibility mode. They changed from 0x2/0x84 to 0x3/0x83. This patch gets the endpoints from the usb interface, instead of hardcode them in the driver. This was tested on a current DLN-2-U2C board. 2013-11-26i2c: davinci: raw read and write endian fixTaras Kondratiuk
I2C IP block expect LE data, but CPU may operate in BE mode. Need to use endian neutral functions to read/write h/w registers. I.e instead of __raw_read[lw] and __raw_write[lw] functions code need to use read[lw]_relaxed and write[lw]_relaxed functions. If the first simply reads/writes register, the second will byteswap it if host operates in BE mode. Changes are trivial sed like replacement of __raw_xxx functions with xxx_relaxed variant. 2013-11-26drm/i915: Drop forcewake w/a for missed interrupts/seqno on SandybridgeChris Wilson
I believe, and an evening of i-g-t, that our original workaround for the missed interrupts on Sandybridge, that of holding forcewake whilst we wait for an interrupts, is no longer required. This leaves us dependent on the second workaround of forcing an UC read of the ACTHD before reading back the seqno from the snooped HWS. Dropping the forcewake should allow us to conserve a little power, not much as the GPU is meant to be busy whilst we wait for it! 2013-11-26extcon: arizona: Get pdata from arizona structure not deviceCharles Keepax
In the case of a device tree system there will be no pdata attached to the device, causing us to deference a NULL pointer. Better to take the pdata from the Arizona structure as this will always exist and we know will have been populated since it is populated by the MFD device which binds in the extcon driver.
