2021-01-13drm/i915/guc: Delete GuC code unused in future patchesMatthew Brost
Delete GuC code unused in future patches that rewrite the GuC interface to work with the new firmware. Most of the code deleted relates to workqueues or execlist port. The code is safe to remove because we still don't allow GuC submission to be enabled, even when overriding the modparam, so it currently can't be reached. The defines + structs for the process descriptor and workqueue remain. Although the new GuC interface does not require either of these for the normal submission path multi-lrc submission does. The usage of the process descriptor and workqueue for multi-lrc will be quite different from the code that is deleted in this patch. 2021-01-13mmc: sdhci-brcmstb: Fix mmc timeout errors on S5 suspendAl Cooper
Commit e7b5d63a82fe ("mmc: sdhci-brcmstb: Add shutdown callback") that added a shutdown callback to the diver, is causing "mmc timeout" errors on S5 suspend. The problem was that the "remove" was queuing additional MMC commands after the "shutdown" and these caused timeouts as the MMC queues were cleaned up for "remove". The shutdown callback will be changed to calling sdhci-pltfm_suspend which should get better power savings because the clocks will be shutdown. 2021-01-13platform/x86: ideapad-laptop: Disable touchpad_switch for ELAN0634Jiaxun Yang
Newer ideapads (e.g.: Yoga 14s, 720S 14) come with ELAN0634 touchpad do not use EC to switch touchpad. Reading VPCCMD_R_TOUCHPAD will return zero thus touchpad may be blocked unexpectedly. Writing VPCCMD_W_TOUCHPAD may cause a spurious key press. Add has_touchpad_switch to workaround these machines. 2021-01-13MIPS: OCTEON: fix unreachable code in octeon_irq_init_ciuMenglong Dong

2021-01-13MIPS: relocatable: fix possible boot hangup with KASLR enabledAlexander Lobakin
LLVM-built Linux triggered a boot hangup with KASLR enabled. arch/mips/kernel/relocate.c:get_random_boot() uses linux_banner, which is a string constant, as a random seed, but accesses it as an array of unsigned long (in rotate_xor()). When the address of linux_banner is not aligned to sizeof(long), such access emits unaligned access exception and hangs the kernel. Use PTR_ALIGN() to align input address to sizeof(long) and also align down the input length to prevent possible access-beyond-end. 2021-01-13video: omapfb2: Make standard and custom DSI command mode panel driver ↵Sebastian Reichel
mutually exclusive Standard DRM panel driver for DSI command mode panel used by omapfb2 is also available now. Just like the other panels its module name clashes with the module from drivers/video/fbdev/omap2/omapfb/displays, part of the deprecated omapfb2 fbdev driver. As omapfb2 can only be compiled when the omapdrm driver is disabled, and the DRM panel drivers are useless in that case, make the omapfb2 panel depend on the standard DRM panels being disabled to fix the name clash. 2021-01-12mptcp: better msk-level shutdown.Paolo Abeni
Instead of re-implementing most of inet_shutdown, re-use such helper, and implement the MPTCP-specific bits at the 'proto' level. The msk-level disconnect() can now be invoked, lets provide a suitable implementation. As a side effect, this fixes bad state management for listener sockets. When the FW tells the driver to retry the INSTALL_UPDATE command after it has cleared the NVM area, the driver is not clearing the previously used ALLOWED_TO_DEFRAG flag. 2021-01-12bnxt_en: Improve stats context resource accounting with RDMA driver loaded.Michael Chan
The function bnxt_get_ulp_stat_ctxs() does not count the stats contexts used by the RDMA driver correctly when the RDMA driver is freeing the MSIX vectors. It assumes that if the RDMA driver is registered, the additional stats contexts will be needed. This is not true when the RDMA driver is about to unregister and frees the MSIX vectors. This slight error leads to over accouting of the stats contexts needed after the RDMA driver has unloaded. This will cause some firmware warning and error messages in dmesg during subsequent config. changes or ifdown/ifup. Fix it by properly accouting for extra stats contexts only if the RDMA driver is registered and MSIX vectors have been successfully requested. 2021-01-12r8153_ecm: Add Lenovo Powered USB-C Hub as a fallback of r8152Leon Schuermann
This commit enables the use of the r8153_ecm driver, introduced with commit c1aedf015ebdd0 ("net/usb/r8153_ecm: support ECM mode for RTL8153") for the Lenovo Powered USB-C Hub (17ef:721e) based on the Realtek RTL8153B chip. This results in the following driver preference: - if r8152 is available, use the r8152 driver - if r8152 is not available, use the r8153_ecm driver This is done to prevent the NIC from constantly sending pause frames when the host system enters standby (fixed by using the r8152 driver in "r8152: Add Lenovo Powered USB-C Travel Hub"), while still allowing the device to work with the r8153_ecm driver as a fallback. 2021-01-12r8152: Add Lenovo Powered USB-C Travel HubLeon Schuermann
This USB-C Hub (17ef:721e) based on the Realtek RTL8153B chip used to use the cdc_ether driver. However, using this driver, with the system suspended the device constantly sends pause-frames as soon as the receive buffer fills up. This causes issues with other devices, where some Ethernet switches stop forwarding packets altogether. Using the Realtek driver (r8152) fixes this issue. Pause frames are no longer sent while the host system is suspended. Add support for multiple mst stream in hdcp port data which will be used by RepeaterAuthStreamManage msg and HDCP 2.2 security f/w for m' validation. Security f/w doesn't have any provision to mark the stream_type for each stream separately, it just take single input of stream_type while authenticating the port and applies the same stream_type to all streams. So driver mark each stream_type with common highest supported content type for all streams in DP MST Topology. Security f/w supports RepeaterAuthStreamManage msg and m' validation only once during port authentication and encryption.
