The ao context is a struct containing all the register addresses
used with the ao subdevice. These can easily be calculated when
needed. Remove the me4000_ao_context struct, its initialization
function, and it's variable in the private data.
The last value written to the ao channels still needs to be saved
in the private data for readback.

are displayed when various parts of the probe fail. These are

The me4000_cnt_contect simply holds the unsigned long i/o addresses
used to read/write the counter registers. Thes can be calculated
as needed. Remove the struct and the associated field in the
private data.

The me4000_dio_info in the boardinfo struct is used to indicate
the number of 8 bit dio ports the the board has. Add a 'dio_nchan'
field to struct me4000_board and remove the struct me4000_dio_info.
The 'dio_nchan' value can then be used directly in the attach of
the board when setting the subdevice number of channels.

Remove the terminating entry in the boardinfo so that ARRAY_SIZE
works correctly. Then remove ME4000_BOARD_VERSIONS and just use
ARRAY_SIZE in the probe.

For those SoCs that have hundreds of clock outputs, their clock
DT bindings could reasonably define #clock-cells as 1 and require
the client device specify the index of the clock it consumes in the
cell of its "clocks" phandle.
Add a generic of_clk_src_onecell_get() function for this purpose.

perf has support for self-debugging by defining dump_stack function.
This function uses backtrace and backtrace_symbols functions defined as
GNU extensions.
In Android, bionic does not offer support for these functions and
compilation will fail with the following error:
target C: libperf <= tools/perf/util/util.c
tools/perf/util/util.c:4:22: fatal error: execinfo.h: No such file or directory
compilation terminated.
Add a compile-time option (NO_BACKTRACE) to enable or disable
self-debugging functionality in perf. This can also help in debugging
since it offers the possibility to turn on/off printing the backtrace.

The mempcpy function is not supported by bionic in Android and will lead
to compilation errors.
Replacing mempcpy with memcpy so it will work in Android.

The mkostemp function is only available in glibc. This leads to compile
error in Android, since bionic is derived from BSD.
Replacing mkostemp with mkstemp. mkstemp is available on both glibc and
bionic.

pthread variables are used in some files without explicitely including
pthread.h. This leads to compile errors on Android. e.g.: in annotate.h,
error: unknown type name 'pthread_mutex_t'
Including pthread.h explicitely in files that use it to have all definitions
included.

In Android, struct winsize is not defined in the headers already
included in help.c. This leads to a compile error.
Including termios.h fixes the compilation error since it defines struct winsize.

perf uses the glibc version of basename(), by defining _GNU_SOURCE,
including string.h and not including libgen.h. The glibc version of
basename is better than the POSIX version since it does not modify its
argument.
Android has only one version of basename which is defined in libgen.h.
This version is the same as the glibc version.

If the device doesn't have a regmap specified by the driver and we can't
find one on the device itself try its parent, providing a useful defualt
for many MFDs.

Users (especially framework code) may end up passing in a zero deferral
time depending on runtime conditions or configuration. If they do then
just call regulator_disable() directly to save scheduling.

Putting 'perf diff' command back on track with the 'latest'
evsel hists changes. Each evsel has its own 'hists' object
gathering stats for the particular event.
While currently counts are accumulated for the whole session
regardless of the events diversification within compared
sessions.
The 'perf diff' command now outputs all matching events within
compared sessions (with event name specified). The per event
diff output stays the same.

Previously, the driver ignored resume unless the pciehp_force module_param
was specified. On some laptops that means that interrupts are not
delivered after S3, so card removals and insertions are not handled.
This patch makes the driver handle resume regardless of pciehp_force.

On some platforms, root port has neither MSI/MSI-X nor INTx interrupt
generated in RC mode. In this case, we have to use other interrupt, e.g.,
system shared interrupt, for port service IRQ to have AER, Hot-plug, etc.,
services work.

get_user may fail to load from the provided __user address due to an
unhandled fault generated by the access.
In the case of the undefined instruction trap, this results in failure
to load the faulting instruction, in which case we should send SIGILL to
the task rather than continue with potentially uninitialised data.

During the p2v changes, the PHYS_OFFSET #define moved into a
!__ASSEMBLY__ section. This causes a XIP build to fail with
arch/arm/kernel/head.o: In function 'stext':
arch/arm/kernel/head.S:146: undefined reference to 'PHYS_OFFSET'
Momentarily leave the #ifndef __ASSEMBLY__ section so we can
define PHYS_OFFSET for all compilation units.

Arend van Spriel provides a fix for a use-after-free bug in brcmfmac.
Daniel Drake avoids a hang by not trying to touch the libertas hardware
duing suspend if it is already powered-down.
Felix Fietkau provides a batch of ath9k fixes that adress some
potential problems with power settings, as well as a fix to avoid a
potential interrupt storm.
Gertjan van Wingerde provides a register-width fix for rt2x00, and
a rt2x00 fix to prevent incorrectly detecting the rfkill status.
He also provides a device ID patch.
Hante Meuleman gives us three brcmfmac fixes, one that properly
initializes a command structure, one that fixes a race condition that
could lose usb requests, and one that removes some log spam.
Marc Kleine-Budde offers an rt2x00 fix for a voltage setting on some
specific devices.
Mohammed Shafi Shajakhan sent an ath9k fix to avoid a crash related to
using timers that aren't allocated when 2 wire bluetooth coexistence
hardware is in use.
Sergei Poselenov changes rt2800usb to do some validity checking for
received packets, avoiding crashes on an ARM Soc.
Stone Piao gives us an mwifiex fix for an incorrectly set skb length
value for a command buffer.
All of these are localized to their specific drivers, and relatively
small. The power-related patches from Felix are bigger than I would
like, but I merged them in consideration of their isolation to ath9k
and the sensitive nature of power settings in wireless devices.

Now that spc_emulate_request_sense has been taught to process zero-length
REQUEST SENSE correctly, drop the special handling of unit attention
conditions from transport_generic_new_cmd. However, for now REQUEST SENSE
will be the only command that goes through emulation for zero lengths.

Similar to INQUIRY and MODE SENSE, construct the sense data in a
buffer and later copy it to the scatterlist. Do not do anything,
but still clear a pending unit attention condition, if the allocation
length is zero.
However, SPC tells us that "If a REQUEST SENSE command is terminated with
CHECK CONDITION status [and] the REQUEST SENSE command was received on
an I_T nexus with a pending unit attention condition (i.e., before the
device server reports CHECK CONDITION status), then the device server
shall not clear the pending unit attention condition." Do the
transport_kmap_data_sg early to detect this case.
It also tells us "Device servers shall not adjust the additional sense
length to reflect truncation if the allocation length is less than the
sense data available", so do not do that! Note that the err variable
is write-only.
