In some cases we may get from FW errored frames with
UNKNOWN security type.
This may happen in unsecured aggregation flow, where
the first packet had a CRC error in the WEP bit, which
was followed by a failure to decrypt and was dropped.
The next frames in the aggregation "inherit" the bad metadata
of the first packet.
Make sure to drop such frames since RADA and other offloads
will not operate correctly which may have unexpected results.
In case of AP it also causes to TX AMSDU frames to the peers,
resulting with assert 0x104B.

With recent CQ handling improvements we can now move the locking into
__nvme_submit_cmd. Also remove the local tail variable to make the code
more obvious, remove the __ prefix in the name, and fix the comments
describing the function.

The block layer's timeout handling currently prevents drivers from
completing commands outside the timeout callback once blk-mq decides
they've expired. If a device breaks, this could potentially create many
thousands of timed out commands. There's nothing of value to be gleaned
from observing each of those messages, so this patch adds a rate limit
on them.

The current checks for whether a new controller request "matches" an
existing controller ignores controller state and checks identity strings.
There are cases where an existing controller may be in its last steps of
deletion when they are "matched" by a new connection.
Change the behavior so that the new connection ignores controllers that
are deleted.

We have several Lenovo AIOs like M810z, M820z and M920z, they have
the same design for mic-mute hotkey and led and they use the same
codec with the same pin configuration, so use the pin conf table to
apply fix to all of them.

as it is, the logics in native io_submit(2) is "if asked for
more than LONG_MAX/sizeof(pointer) iocbs to submit, don't
bother with more than LONG_MAX/sizeof(pointer)" (i.e.
512M requests on 32bit and 1E requests on 64bit) while
compat io_submit(2) goes with "stop after the first
PAGE_SIZE/sizeof(pointer) iocbs", i.e. 1K or so. Which is
* inconsistent
* *way* too much in native case
* possibly too little in compat one
and
* wrong anyway, since the natural point where we
ought to stop bothering is ctx->nr_events

As we keep the offloaded TC rules for NIC and e-switch in two different

When mlx5_fpga_conn_unmap_buf is called buf->sg[0].size
should equal the actual buffer size, not the message size.
Otherwise we will trigger the following dma debug warning
"DMA-API: device driver frees DMA memory with different size"

If user get root access and calls security.selinux setxattr() with an
embedded NUL on a file and then if some process performs a getxattr()
on that file with a length greater than the actual length of the string,
it would result in a panic.
To fix this, add the actual length of the string to the security context
instead of the length passed by the userspace process.

Celes has newer touch controller (compared to the controllers used in
older BayTrail-based devices) and so uses the same button mapping as
Samus.
This fixes the issue with mouse button being stuck in pressed state
after the first click.

Added a new helper file for these fixups due to requiring a huge number
of coefs being set to get the top speakers to work, as well as
setting pin 0x17 for the top speakers and the correct input source
of 0x17 for volume control
[ Note: this is a revised work based on Tom's fixup patch with the
replacement of the full COEF tables provided by Realtek.
Also, the fixup function has a proper HDA_FIXUP_ACT_* handling now.
The credit for the new COEF table goes to Kailang -- tiwai ]

MPLS support will not be submitted this dev cycle, but in working on it
I do see a few changes are needed to the API. For now, drop mpls from the
API. Since the fields in question are unions, the mpls fields can be added
back later without affecting the uapi.

These are minor edits for the eBPF helpers documentation in
include/uapi/linux/bpf.h.
The main fix consists in removing "BPF_FIB_LOOKUP_", because it ends
with a non-escaped underscore that gets interpreted by rst2man and
produces the following message in the resulting manual page:

Unknown target name: "bpf_fib_lookup".
Other edits consist in:

For cases where the CRTC is inactive (DPMS off), where a modeset is not
required, yet the CRTC is still in the atomic state, we should not
attempt to update anything on it.
Previously, we were relying on the modereset_required() helper to check
the above condition. However, the function returns false immediately if
a modeset is not required, ignoring the CRTC's enable/active state
flags. The correct way to filter is by looking at these flags instead.

Bsg holding a reference to the parent device may result in a crash if a
bsg file handle is closed after the parent device driver has unloaded.
Holding a reference is not really needed: the parent device must exist
between bsg_register_queue and bsg_unregister_queue. Before the device
goes away the caller does blk_cleanup_queue so that all in-flight
requests to the device are gone and all new requests cannot pass beyond
the queue. The queue itself is a refcounted object and it will stay
alive with a bsg file.

When a GID entry is invalid EAGAIN is returned. This is an incorrect error
code, there is nothing that will make this GID entry valid again in
bounded time.
Some user space tools fail incorrectly if EAGAIN is returned here, and
this represents a small ABI change from earlier kernels.
The first patch in the Fixes list makes entries that were valid before
to become invalid, allowing this code to trigger, while the second patch
in the Fixes list introduced the wrong EAGAIN.
Therefore revert the return result to EINVAL which matches the historical
expectations of the ibv_query_gid_type() API of the libibverbs user space
library.

In inode_init_always(), we clear the inode mapping flags, which clears
any retained error (AS_EIO, AS_ENOSPC) bits. Unfortunately, we do not
also clear wb_err, which means that old mapping errors can leak through
to new inodes.
This is crucial for the XFS inode allocation path because we recycle old
in-core inodes and we do not want error state from an old file to leak
into the new file. This bug was discovered by running generic/036 and
generic/047 in a loop and noticing that the EIOs generated by the
collision of direct and buffered writes in generic/036 would survive the
remount between 036 and 047, and get reported to the fsyncs (on
different files!) in generic/047.

Since compression.h is using the SZ_* macros, and if some file includes
only compression.h without linux/sizes.h, it will cause compile error.
One example is lzo.c, if it uses BTRFS_MAX_COMPRESSED. Fix it by adding
linux/sizes.h in compression.h
