Recent ARMv7 toolchains assume that unaligned memory accesses will not
fault and will instead be handled by the processor.
For the nommu case (without an MPU), memory will be treated as
strongly-ordered and therefore unaligned accesses may fault regardless
of the SCTLR.A setting.
This patch passes -mno-unaligned-access to GCC when compiling for nommu
targets, preventing the generation of unaligned memory access in the
kernel.

This patch keeps disabled the strict alignment CP15 bit for
all armv6 and armv7 processor without the mmu. This behaviour
is now same as in the mmu case.

This is what is done for the regular interrupts in kernel/irqs/proc.c
already, before calling arch_show_interrupts(). Not doing so for the
IPIs causes the column headers not to match with the content whenever
some CPUs are offline.

Previously, the ASoC 'platform' (PCM/DMA) object was instantiated via a
platform_device. This didn't represent the hardware well, since there
was no separate hardware associated with this platform_device; it was a
virtual device with sole purpose to call snd_soc_register_platform().
This change removes the platform_device completely. Each Samsung DAI now
registers the ASoC 'platform' itself. Machine drivers are adjusted for
the new 'platform' name.

This patch against kernel 3.7.0-rc8 fixes a kernel oops when turning on the
bluetooth mouse with id 0458:0058 [1].
The mouse in question supports both input and hid sessions, however it is
blacklisted in drivers/hid/hid-core.c so the input session is one that should
be used. Long ago (around kernel 3.0.0) some changes in the bluetooth
subsystem made the kernel do not fallback to input session when hid session is
not supported or blacklisted. This patch restore that behaviour by making the
kernel try the input session if hid_add_device returns ENODEV.
The patch exports hid_ignore() from hid-core.c so that it can be used in the
bluetooth subsystem.

By using a few temporary variables, smatch can track
what's happening and stops complaining that we access
beyond the tid_data array.
This also makes the generated code a bit smaller, so
it's a win all around.

Depending on the Codec, the the BCLK/LRCLK ratio might not be freely
chosen by the CPU DAI.
For example, some Codec might want to be supplied with 32-bit samples
for both its channels regardless of the actual audio word size the CPU
sends. In such cases, the rest of the bits on the data lines must be
padded with zeros:

This patch adds a new clock divider to configure the BCLK/LRCLK ratio.
If the machine code uses that divider, the driver uses the specified
value, instead of deriving that information from the audio word size.
Otherwise, the original behaviour is retained.

Change davinci_config_channel_size() to derive the values for XSSZ and
XROT in DAVINCI_MCASP_[RT]XFMT_REG from the configured word length
rather than hard-coding them in a switch/case block.
Also, by directly passing the word length to
davinci_config_channel_size(), we can get rid of the
DAVINCI_AUDIO_WORD_* enum.

Given a small change to igb_init_interrupt_scheme() the function fits
igb_request_irq() for MSI/legacy interrupts initialization as well, instead of
duplicating most of its code there.
Also adding a missing igb_configure() to igb_request_irq() for MSI fallback
to work properly.

The X540's internal thermal sensor should not be enabled for all devices, but
only those devices which enable it in the NVM image. It is expected that
actively cooled devices will have it enabled, but passively cooled devices might
not want it enabled. This is due to passively cooled devices operating very near
the thermal threshold, sometimes within the margin of error of the thermal
sensor. Thus these devices may not be good candidates for using the thermal
sensor.
This patch uses the enabled bit in the FWSM register to check whether we should
be enabling the thermal sensor, and only sets the THERMAL_SENSOR_CAPABLE flag
for those devices which have it enabled.

Each link instance has a periodic job checking if there is a stale
ongoing message reassembly associated to the link. If no new
fragment has been received during the last 4*[link_tolerance] period,
it is assumed the missing fragment will never arrive. As a consequence,
the reassembly buffer is discarded, and a gap in the message sequence
occurs.
This assumption is wrong. After we abandoned our ambition to develop
packet routing for multi-cluster networks, only single-hop packet
transfer remains as an option. For those, all packets are guaranteed
to be delivered in sequence to the defragmentation layer. Any failure
to achieve sequenced delivery will eventually lead to link reset, and
the reassembly buffer will be flushed anyway.
So we just remove this periodic check, which is now obsolete.
