2013-04-17s390/mm: zero page cache synonyms for zEC12Martin Schwidefsky
To avoid cache synonyms on System zEC12 32 independent zero pages are required, one for each combination for bits 2**12 to 2**16 of the virtual address. To avoid wasting too much memory on small virtual systems the number of zero pages is limited to 4 if the memory size is less or equal to 64MB. 2013-04-17s390/mm: protection exception PSW for aborted transactionMartin Schwidefsky
Protection exception usually are suppressing and the fault handler needs to rewind the PSW by the instruction length to get the correct fault address. Except for protection exceptions while the CPU is in the middle of a transaction. The CPU stores the transaction abort PSW at the start of the transaction, if the transaction is aborted the PSW is already correct and may not be modified by the fault handler. 2013-04-17fuse: fix type definitions in uapi headerMiklos Szeredi
Commit 7e98d53086d18c877cb44e9065219335184024de (Synchronize fuse header with one used in library) added #ifdef __linux__ around defines if it is not set. The kernel build is self-contained and can be built on non-Linux toolchains. After the mentioned commit builds on non-Linux toolchains will try to include stdint.h and fail due to -nostdinc, and then fail with a bunch of undefined type errors. Fix by checking for __KERNEL__ instead of __linux__ and using the standard int types instead of the linux specific ones. 2013-04-17net: drop dst before queueing fragmentsEric Dumazet
Commit 4a94445c9a5c (net: Use ip_route_input_noref() in input path) added a bug in IP defragmentation handling, as non refcounted dst could escape an RCU protected section. Commit 64f3b9e203bd068 (net: ip_expire() must revalidate route) fixed the case of timeouts, but not the general problem. Tom Parkin noticed crashes in UDP stack and provided a patch, but further analysis permitted us to pinpoint the root cause. Before queueing a packet into a frag list, we must drop its dst, as this dst has limited lifetime (RCU protected) When/if a packet is finally reassembled, we use the dst of the very last skb, still protected by RCU and valid, as the dst of the reassembled packet. Use same logic in IPv6, as there is no need to hold dst references. 2013-04-16pm2301-charger: Fix suspend/resumeLars-Peter Clausen
The pm2301-charger driver implements runtime pm and at the same time uses the legacy pm callbacks for suspend and resume. This does not work since the I2C core wont look at the legacy pm callbacks if a driver has the 'pm' field set. This patch fixes it by moving over to dev_pm_ops for suspend/resume as well. 2013-04-16hwmon: Add ST-Ericsson ABX500 hwmon driverHongbo Zhang
Each of ST-Ericsson X500 chip set series consists of both ABX500 and DBX500 chips. This is ABX500 hwmon driver, where the abx500.c is a common layer for all ABX500s, and the ab8500.c is specific for AB8500 chip. Under this designed structure, other chip specific files can be added simply using the same common layer abx500.c. 2013-04-16[media] r820t: Allow disabling IMR callibrationMauro Carvalho Chehab
The rtl-sdr library disabled IMR callibration. While I'm not sure yet why, it could be a good idea to add a modprobe parameter here, to allow to also disable it. There are two rationale behind it: - It helps to compare USB dumps between rtl-sdr and the Kernel module; - If rtl-sdr disabled it, perhaps there's a good reason (e. g. it might not be actually working, or it might be causing some trouble). For both cases, it seems useful to add a modprobe parameter to allow testing the device with both configurations. 2013-04-16[media] r820t: add a commented code for GPIOMauro Carvalho Chehab
Add the code to set the GPIO for this tuner. This code is currently unused, so it is kept there only for completeness. With this patch there are just two things that got left from the original driver: - At standby, there's another mode, not used by rtl2832u. Not sure if it might be needed in the future, but I suspect it is not used at all; - There is a "fast tune" mode. As nor DVB or V4L API supports it, it seems an overkill to implement it.
