Selecting CONFIG_DMADEVICES is optional, and we must
be able to continue even without DMA. Otherwise things
like omap4430sdp nfsroot will fail if DMA is not
selected.
Note that the driver already supports PIO mode, but
we fail to fall back to PIO if requesting DMA channels
fails.

The voltage_mask is 0xc0, thus we need to set voltage_shift = 6 to get correct

perf_trace_buf_prepare() + perf_trace_buf_submit() make no sense
if this task/CPU has no active counters. Change uprobe_perf_print()
to return if hlist_empty(call->perf_events).
Note: this is not uprobe-specific, we can change other users too.

Skip the audio channel when registering the video nodes. This fixes a bug
where that incorrectly registered 'video' node was never unregistered.
Note: this bug only surfaces if the video output nodes are enabled again
after the previous patch disabled them.

For s390 the page table mapping for the crashkernel memory is removed to
protect the pre-loaded kdump kernel and ramdisk. Because the crashkernel
memory is not included in the page tables for suspend/resume it is not
included in the suspend image. Therefore after resume the resumed system
does no longer contain the pre-loaded kdump kernel and when kdump is
triggered it fails.
This patch adds a PM notifier that creates the page tables before suspend
is done and removes them for resume. This ensures that the kdump kernel
is included in the suspend image.

The cx25821 driver has support for one audio output channel and two video
output channels.
This is implemented in a very ugly and very evil way through a custom ioctl
that passes the filename of a file containing the video data, which is then
read by the driver itself using vfs.
There are a number of problems with this:
1) it's very ugly and very evil (I can't say that often enough).
2) V4L2 supports video output, so why not use that?
3) it's very buggy, closing the filehandle through which you passed the ioctl
will oops the kernel.
4) it's a nasty security leak since this allows you to load any file in the
system as a video or audio source, so in theory you can output /etc/passwd
to audio or video out and record & decode it on another device.
Because of all these issues we no longer register those output video nodes.

CONFIG_MEMORY_HOTREMOVE
kernel_physical_mapping_remove() is only called by
arch_remove_memory() in init_64.c, which is enclosed in
CONFIG_MEMORY_HOTREMOVE. So when we don't configure
CONFIG_MEMORY_HOTREMOVE, the compiler will give a warning:
warning: ‘kernel_physical_mapping_remove’ defined but not used
So put kernel_physical_mapping_remove() in
CONFIG_MEMORY_HOTREMOVE.

Trinity discovered that we fail to check all 64 bits of
attr.config passed by user space, resulting to out-of-bounds
access of the perf_swevent_enabled array in
sw_perf_event_destroy().

It's a sad fact that at this point various cgroup controllers are
carrying so many idiosyncrasies and pure insanities that it simply
isn't possible to reach any sort of sane consistent behavior while
maintaining staying fully compatible with what already has been
exposed to userland.
As we can't break exposed userland interface, transitioning to sane
behaviors can only be done in steps while maintaining backwards
compatibility. This patch introduces a new mount option -
__DEVEL__sane_behavior - which disables crazy features and enforces
consistent behaviors in cgroup core proper and various controllers.
As exactly which behaviors it changes are still being determined, the
mount option, at this point, is useful only for development of the new
behaviors. As such, the mount option is prefixed with __DEVEL__ and
generates a warning message when used.
Eventually, once we get to the point where all controller's behaviors
are consistent enough to implement unified hierarchy, the __DEVEL__
prefix will be dropped, and more importantly, unified-hierarchy will
enforce sane_behavior by default. Maybe we'll able to completely drop
the crazy stuff after a while, maybe not, but we at least have a
strategy to move on to saner behaviors.
This patch introduces the mount option and changes the following
behaviors in cgroup core.
* Mount options "noprefix" and "clone_children" are disallowed. Also,
cgroupfs file cgroup.clone_children is not created.
* When mounting an existing superblock, mount options should match.
This is currently pretty crazy. If one mounts a cgroup, creates a
subdirectory, unmounts it and then mount it again with different
option, it looks like the new options are applied but they aren't.
* Remount is disallowed.
The behaviors changes are documented in the comment above
CGRP_ROOT_SANE_BEHAVIOR enum and will be expanded as different
controllers are converted and planned improvements progress.

While controllers shouldn't be accessing cgroupfs_root directly, it
being hidden inside kern/cgroup.c makes somethings pretty silly. This
makes routing hierarchy-wide settings which need to be visible to
controllers cumbersome.
We're gonna add another hierarchy-wide setting which needs to be
accessed from controllers. Move cgroupfs_root and its flags to the
header file so that we can access root settings with inline helpers.

There's no reason to be using bitops, which tends to be more
cumbersome, to handle root flags. Convert them to masks. Also, as
they'll be moved to include/linux/cgroup.h and it's generally a good
idea, add CGRP_ prefix.
Note that flags are assigned from (1 << 1). The first bit will be
used by a flag which will be added soon.

It is very similar than rc-msi-digivox-iii but new keytable is needed
as there is one existing scancode mapped to different button. Also that
one has less buttons.

Changing uid/gid/projid mappings doesn't change your id within the
namespace; it reconfigures the namespace. Unprivileged programs should
*not* be able to write these files. (We're also checking the privileges
on the wrong task.)
Given the write-once nature of these files and the other security
checks, this is likely impossible to usefully exploit.

id_map
When we require privilege for setting /proc/<pid>/uid_map or
/proc/<pid>/gid_map no longer allow an unprivileged user to
open the file and pass it to a privileged program to write
to the file.
Instead when privilege is required require both the opener and the
writer to have the necessary capabilities.
I have tested this code and verified that setting /proc/<pid>/uid_map
fails when an unprivileged user opens the file and a privielged user
attempts to set the mapping, that unprivileged users can still map
their own id, and that a privileged users can still setup an arbitrary
mapping.

free bug. Fix by set argument to NULL, thus when fall through to
rc_free_device(), nothing will be done there.

The default format conversion table mbus_fmt[] in soc_mediabus.c lists
"natural" conversions between media-bus and fourcc pixel formats, that are
achieved by storing data from the bus in RAM exactly as it arrives, only
possibly padding missing high or low bits. Such data acquisition mode
cannot change data endianness, therefore two locations with opposite
endianness are erroneous. This change might affest the omap1-camera driver,
existing configurations should be verified.
