Vlans are not getting removed when drivers are unloaded. The recent storm
firmware versions had added safeguards against re-configuring an already
configured vlan. As a result, PF inner reload flows (e.g., mtu change)
might trigger an assertion.
This change is going to remove vlans (same as we do for MACs) when doing
a chip cleanup during unload.

On some customer setups it was observed that shmem contains a non-zero fip
MAC for 57711 which would lead to enabling of SW FCoE.
Add a software workaround to clear the bad fip mac address if no FCoE
connections are supported.

These changes contain a couple of minor fixes for host1x and the Falcon
library in Tegra DRM. There are also a couple of missing pieces that
finally enable support for host1x, VIC and display on Tegra194. I've
also added a patch that enables audio over HDMI using the SOR which has
been tested, and works, on both Tegra186 and Tegra194.

rbnode in insert_tree() is rcu protected pointer.
So, in order to handle this pointer, _rcu function should be used.
rb_link_node_rcu() is a rcu version of rb_link_node().

The dst entry might already have a zero refcount, waiting on rcu list
to be free'd. Using dst_hold() transitions its reference count to 1, and
next dst release will try to free it again -- resulting in a double free:

In the error handling block, nla_nest_cancel(skb, atd) is called to
cancel the nest operation. But then, ipset_nest_end(skb, atd) is
unexpected called to end the nest operation. This patch calls the
ipset_nest_end only on the branch that nla_nest_cancel is not called.

When the VF driver does a reset, it (at least the Linux one) writes to
the VFCTRL register to issue a reset and then immediately sends a reset
message using the mailbox API. This is racy because when the PF driver
detects that the VFCTRL register reset pin has been asserted, it clears
the mailbox memory. Depending on ordering, the reset message sent by
the VF could be cleared by the PF driver. It then responds to the
cleared message with a NACK which causes the VF driver to malfunction.
Fix this by deferring clearing the mailbox memory until the reset
message is received.

The function hso_probe reads if_num from the USB device (as an u8) and uses
it without a length check to index an array, resulting in an OOB memory read
in hso_probe or hso_get_config_data.
Add a length check for both locations and updated hso_probe to bail on
error.
This issue has been assigned CVE-2018-19985.

This fixes two bugs in hardware VLAN offload:
1. VLAN.TCI == 0 was being dropped
2. there was a race between disabling of VLAN RX feature in hardware
and processing RX queue, where packets processed in this window
could have their VLAN information dropped
Fix moves the VLAN handling into i40e_process_skb_fields() to save on
duplicated code. i40e_receive_skb() becomes trivial and so is removed.

lkml and Linus gained a CoC, and it's serious this time. Which means
my no 1 reason for declining to officially step up as drm maintainer
is gone, and I didn't find any new good excuse.
I chatted with a few people in private already, and the biggest
concern is that I mislay my community hat and start running around
with my intel hat only. Or some other convenient abuse of trust.
That's why this patch doesn't just need a lot of acks that mean "yeah
seems fine to me", but a lot of acks that mean "yeah we'll tell you
when you're over the line and usurp you from that comfy chair if you
don't get it". Which I think we've been done a fairly good job here at
dri-devel in general, but better to be clear.
Rough idea is that I'll do this for maybe 2-3 years, helping Dave
figure out a group model for drm overall. And getting the tooling and
infrastructure for that off the ground. Then step down again because
some other shiny thing that needs chasing. Of course as plans tend to
do, this one will probably pan out a bit different in reality.

A previous commit moved the ether_addr_copy() in i40e_set_mac() before
the mac filter del/add to avoid a race. However it wasn't taken into
account that this alters the mac address being handed to
i40e_del_mac_filter().
Also changed i40e_add_mac_filter() to operate on netdev->dev_addr,
hopefully that makes the code easier to read.

Ignore acpi_device_fix_up_power() return value. If we return an error
we end up with acpi_default_enumeration() still creating a platform-
device for the device and we end up with the device still being used
but without the special LPSS related handling which is not useful.
Specicifically ignoring the error fixes the touchscreen no longer
working after a suspend/resume on a Prowise PT301 tablet.
This tablet has a broken _PS0 method on the touchscreen's I2C controller,
causing acpi_device_fix_up_power() to fail, causing fallback to standard
platform-dev handling and specifically causing acpi_lpss_save/restore_ctx
to not run.
The I2C controllers _PS0 method does actually turn on the device, but then
does some more nonsense which fails when run during early boot trying to
use I2C opregion handling on another not-yet registered I2C controller.

Add two new metrics for CPU idle states, "above" and "below", to count
the number of times the given state had been asked for (or entered
from the kernel's perspective), but the observed idle duration turned
out to be too short or too long for it (respectively).
These metrics help to estimate the quality of the CPU idle governor
in use.

[Why]
Legacy cursor plane updates from drm helpers go through the full
atomic codepath. A high volume of cursor updates through this slow
code path can cause subsequent page-flips to skip vblank intervals
since each individual update is slow.
This problem is particularly noticeable for the compton compositor.
[How]
A fast path for cursor plane updates is added by using DRM asynchronous
commit support provided by async_check and async_update. These don't do
a full state/flip_done dependency stall and they don't block other
commit work.
However, DC still expects itself to be single-threaded for anything
that can issue register writes. Screen corruption or hangs can occur
if write sequences overlap. Every call that potentially perform
register writes needs to be guarded for asynchronous updates to work.
The dc_lock mutex was added for this.

When parallel bus is used and data-active is being parsed, incorrect
flags are cleared.

When support for bonding of RoCE devices was added, there was
necessarily a link between the RoCE device and the paired netdevice that
was part of the bond. If you remove the mlx4_en module, that paired
association is broken (the RoCE device is still present but the paired
netdevice has been released). We need to account for this in
is_upper_ndev_bond_master_filter() and filter out those links with a
broken pairing or else we later oops in netdev_next_upper_dev_rcu().

The Video Engine (VE) embedded in the Aspeed AST2400 and AST2500 SOCs
can capture and compress video data from digital or analog sources. With
the Aspeed chip acting a service processor, the Video Engine can capture
the host processor graphics output.
Add a V4L2 driver to capture video data and compress it to JPEG images.
Make the video frames available through the V4L2 streaming interface.

The regulator supports a dedicated suspend mode.
Implement the appropriate ->set_suspend_xx() hooks, add support for
->set_mode(), and provide basic PM ops functionalities to setup the
regulator in a suspend state when the system is entering suspend.

Current rsnd is using RSND_REG_xxx for register naming,
and using RSND_REG_##f style macro for read/write.
The biggest reason why it uses this style is that
we can avoid non-existing register access.
But, its demerit is sequential register access code will
be very ugly.
Current rsnd driver is well tested, so, let's remove RSND_REG_
from rsnd_reg, and cleanup sequential register access code.

The API to configure a PWM using pwm_enable(), pwm_disable(),
pwm_config() and pwm_set_polarity() is superseeded by atomically setting
the parameters using pwm_apply_state(). To get forward with deprecating
the former set of functions use the opportunity that there is no current
user of pwm_set_polarity() and remove it.

Implement the get_state() function and set the initial state to reflect
real state of the hardware. This allows to keep the PWM running if it was
enabled in bootloader. It is very similar to the GPIO behavior. GPIO pin
set as output in bootloader keep the same setting in Linux unless it is
reconfigured.
If we find the PWM block enabled we need to prepare and enable its source
clock otherwise the clock will be disabled late in the boot as unused.
That will leave the PWM in enabled state but with disabled clock. That has
a side effect that the PWM output is left at its current level at which
the clock was disabled. It is totally non-deterministic and it may be LOW
or HIGH.

Adding an extra MI_STORE_DWORD_IMM to the gpu relocation path for gen3
was good, but still not good enough. To survive 24+ hours under test we
needed to perform not one, not two but three extra store-dw. Doing so
for each GPU relocation was a little unsightly and since we need to
worry about userspace hitting the same issues, we should apply the dummy
store-dw into the EMIT_FLUSH.

Currently we allocate a scratch page for each engine, but since we only
ever write into it for post-sync operations, it is not exposed to
userspace nor do we care for coherency. As we then do not care about its
contents, we can use one page for all, reducing our allocations and
avoid complications by not assuming per-engine isolation.
For later use, it simplifies engine initialisation (by removing the
allocation that required struct_mutex!) and means that we can always rely
on there being a scratch page.
