As is the case on Meteor Lake, the Gaussian & Neural Accelerator (GNA)
device is powered by BIOS to D0 by default. If no driver is loaded, this
will cause the Package C state to be limited to PC2, leading to
significant power consumption and decrease in batter life. Put the GNA
device in D3 by default if no driver is loaded for it.

A recent PMC firmware change in Lunar Lake caused the pmc_core driver to
fail to probe. This is due to a change in the GUID for PMC telemetry coming
from the SSRAM device. Until a final release is ready this value may
change again. In the meantime, disable the SSRAM support for Lunar Lake so
the driver can load and provide some basic functionality.

intel_vsec_walk_header() is used to configure features from devices that
don't provide a PCI VSEC or DVSEC structure. Some of these features may
be unsupported and fail to load. Ignore them silently as we do for
unsupported features described by VSEC/DVSEC.

The value of policy_base is the return value of a devm_ioremap call,
which returns a __iomem pointer instead of an regular pointer.
Add the missing __iomem attribute.

The whitelist-based approach for preventing older WMI drivers from
being instantiated multiple times has many drawbacks:
- uses cannot see all available WMI devices (if not whitelisted)
- whitelisting a WMI driver requires changes in the WMI driver core
- maintenance burden for driver and subsystem developers
Since the WMI driver core already takes care that older WMI drivers
are not being instantiated multiple times, remove the now redundant
whitelist.
Tested on a ASUS Prime B650-Plus.

Many older WMI drivers cannot be instantiated multiple times for
two reasons:
- they are using the legacy GUID-based WMI API
- they are singletons (with global state)
Prevent such WMI drivers from binding to WMI devices with a duplicated
GUID, as this would mean that the WMI driver will be instantiated at
least two times (one for the original GUID and one for the duplicated
GUID).
WMI drivers which can be instantiated multiple times can signal this
by setting a flag inside struct wmi_driver.
Tested on a ASUS Prime B650-Plus.

When matching a WMI device to a GUID used by the legacy GUID-based
API, devices with a duplicated GUID should be ignored.
Add an additional WMI device flag signaling that the GUID used by
the WMI device is also used by another WMI device. Ignore such
devices inside the match functions used by the legacy GUID-based API.
Tested on a ASUS Prime B650-Plus.

Newer Lenovo Yogas and Legions with 60Hz/90Hz displays send a wmi event
when Fn + R is pressed. This is intended for use to switch between the
two refresh rates.
The Fn + R key was incorrectly assigned to KEY_DISPLAYTOGGLE because it
is used to toggle the display on and off.
Map Fn + R key to the KEY_REFRESH_RATE_TOGGLE event code.

So instead of forcing Linus to do the same resolution again, merge in Linus's
tree and follow his conflict resolution.

The i801 and designware drivers received most of the changes,
including refactorings and some additions.
Recovery changes for the iMX and iMX-LPI2C are now utilizing the
generic i2c support.
The Cadence driver now supports system suspend and resume.
The hisi, mpc, sh_mobile, and npcm drivers have undergone some
cleanups and improvements. Meanwhile, Uwe continues his work on
converting the "remove" callback to become a void function.
The pca954x mux driver now supports additional configurations,
such as isolating faulty channels and flushing stuck buses, among
others.
Support has been added for Renesas r8a779h0, i.MX95 LPI2C, and
Microchip sam9x7. Meanwhile, Geert lays the groundwork for the
upcoming R-Car Gen4.

Durable file handles allow reopening a file preserved on a short
network outage and transparent client reconnection within a timeout.
i.e. Durable handles aren't necessarily cleaned up when the opening
process terminates.
This patch add support for durable handle version 1 and 2.
To prove durable handles work on ksmbd, I have tested this patch with

Currently ksmbd exit connection as well destroying previous session.
When testing durable handle feaure, I found that
destroy_previous_session() should destroy only session, i.e. the
connection should be still alive. This patch mark SMB2_SESSION_EXPIRED
on the previous session to be destroyed later and not used anymore.

generic_fillattr should not be used outside of ->getattr
implementations.
Use vfs_getattr instead, and adapt functions to return an
error code to the caller.

The .remove() callback for a platform driver returns an int which makes
many driver authors wrongly assume it's possible to do error handling by
returning an error code. However the value returned is ignored (apart
from emitting a warning) and this typically results in resource leaks.
To improve here there is a quest to make the remove callback return
void. In the first step of this quest all drivers are converted to
.remove_new(), which already returns void. Eventually after all drivers
are converted, .remove_new() will be renamed to .remove().
Trivially convert this driver from always returning zero in the remove
callback to the void returning variant.

Introduce x86_64 and arm64 functions to get the hypervisor version
information and store it in a structure for simpler parsing.
Use the new function to get and parse the version at boot time. While at
it, move the printing code to hv_common_init() so it is not duplicated.

Locally generated packets can increment the new nexthop statistics from
process context, resulting in the following splat [1] due to preemption
being enabled. Fix by using get_cpu_ptr() / put_cpu_ptr() which will

Passing a maximum attribute type to nlmsg_parse() that is larger than
the size of the passed policy will result in an out-of-bounds access [1]
when the attribute type is used as an index into the policy array.
Fix by setting the maximum attribute type according to the policy size,
as is already done for RTM_NEWNEXTHOP messages. Add a test case that
triggers the bug.
No regressions in fib nexthops tests:

The attribute is parsed in __nh_valid_dump_req() which is called by the
dump handlers of RTM_GETNEXTHOP and RTM_GETNEXTHOPBUCKET although it is
only used by the former and rejected by the policy of the latter.
Move the parsing to nh_valid_dump_req() which is only called by the dump
handler of RTM_GETNEXTHOP.
This is a preparation for a subsequent patch.

The attribute is parsed into 'op_flags' in nh_valid_get_del_req() which
is called from the handlers of three message types: RTM_DELNEXTHOP,
RTM_GETNEXTHOPBUCKET and RTM_GETNEXTHOP. The attribute is only used by
the latter and rejected by the policies of the other two.
Pass 'op_flags' as NULL from the handlers of the other two and only
parse the attribute when the argument is not NULL.
This is a preparation for a subsequent patch.

operations require VMM cooperation, even in CoCo environments where
the VMM is untrusted. While it's _possible_ that memory pressure
could trigger the new warning, the odds are that a guest would only

- The biggest change is the rework of the percpu code, to support the
'Named Address Spaces' GCC feature, by Uros Bizjak:
- This allows C code to access GS and FS segment relative memory
via variables declared with such attributes, which allows the
compiler to better optimize those accesses than the previous
inline assembly code.
- The series also includes a number of micro-optimizations for
various percpu access methods, plus a number of cleanups of %gs
accesses in assembly code.
- These changes have been exposed to linux-next testing for the
last ~5 months, with no known regressions in this area.
- Fix/clean up __switch_to()'s broken but accidentally working handling
of FPU switching - which also generates better code
- Propagate more RIP-relative addressing in assembly code, to generate
slightly better code
- Rework the CPU mitigations Kconfig space to be less idiosyncratic, to
make it easier for distros to follow & maintain these options

Pull EDAC updates from Borislav Petkov:
- Add a FRU (Field Replaceable Unit) memory poison manager which
collects and manages previously encountered hw errors in order to
save them to persistent storage across reboots. Previously recorded
errors are "replayed" upon reboot in order to poison memory which has
caused said errors in the past.
The main use case is stacked, on-chip memory which cannot simply be
replaced so poisoning faulty areas of it and thus making them
inaccessible is the only strategy to prolong its lifetime.
- Add an AMD address translation library glue which converts the
reported addresses of hw errors into system physical addresses in
order to be used by other subsystems like memory failure, for
example. Add support for MI300 accelerators to that library.

This will allow the kernel to be used as a KVM hypervisor capable of

prog->aux->sleepable is checked very frequently as part of (some) BPF
program run hot paths. So this extra aux indirection seems wasteful and
on busy systems might cause unnecessary memory cache misses.
Let's move sleepable flag into prog itself to eliminate unnecessary
pointer dereference.

On some architectures like ARM64, PMD_SIZE can be really large in some
configurations. Like with CONFIG_ARM64_64K_PAGES=y the PMD_SIZE is
512MB.
Use 2MB * num_possible_nodes() as the size for allocations done through
the prog pack allocator. On most architectures, PMD_SIZE will be equal
to 2MB in case of 4KB pages and will be greater than 2MB for bigger page
sizes.

"A single update for the x86 entry code:
The current CR3 handling for kernel page table isolation in the
paranoid return paths which are relevant for #NMI, #MCE, #VC, #DB and
#DF is unconditionally writing CR3 with the value retrieved on
exception entry.
In the vast majority of cases when returning to the kernel this is a
pointless exercise because CR3 was not modified on exception entry.
The only situation where this is necessary is when the exception
interrupts a entry from user before switching to kernel CR3 or
interrupts an exit to user after switching back to user CR3.
As CR3 writes can be expensive on some systems this becomes measurable
overhead with high frequency #NMIs such as perf.
Avoid this overhead by checking the CR3 value, which was saved on
entry, and write it back to CR3 only when it is a user CR3"

Move from simple ida to xarray for storing and loading the ptp_clock
pointer. This prepares support for future hardware timestamp selection by
being able to link the ptp clock index to its pointer.
