Pull ACPI and power management updates from Rafael Wysocki:
1) ACPI-based PCI hotplug (ACPIPHP) subsystem rework and introduction
of Intel Thunderbolt support on systems that use ACPI for signalling
Thunderbolt hotplug events. This also should make ACPIPHP work in
some cases in which it was known to have problems. From
Rafael J Wysocki, Mika Westerberg and Kirill A Shutemov.
2) ACPI core code cleanups and dock station support cleanups from
Jiang Liu and Rafael J Wysocki.
3) Fixes for locking problems related to ACPI device hotplug from

4) ACPICA update to version 20130725 includig fixes, cleanups, support
for more than 256 GPEs per GPE block and a change to make the ACPI
PM Timer optional (we've seen systems without the PM Timer in the
field already). One of the fixes, related to the DeRefOf operator,
is necessary to prevent some Windows 8 oriented AML from causing

5) Removal of the old and long deprecated /proc/acpi/event interface
and related driver changes from Thomas Renninger.
6) ACPI and Xen changes to make the reduced hardware sleep work with
the latter from Ben Guthro.
7) ACPI video driver cleanups and a blacklist of systems that should
not tell the BIOS that they are compatible with Windows 8 (or ACPI
backlight and possibly other things will not work on them). From
Felipe Contreras.
8) Assorted ACPI fixes and cleanups from Aaron Lu, Hanjun Guo,
Kuppuswamy Sathyanarayanan, Lan Tianyu, Sachin Kamat, Tang Chen,
Toshi Kani, and Wei Yongjun.
9) cpufreq ondemand governor target frequency selection change to
reduce oscillations between min and max frequencies (essentially,
it causes the governor to choose target frequencies proportional
to load) from Stratos Karafotis.
10) cpufreq fixes allowing sysfs attributes file permissions to be
preserved over suspend/resume cycles Srivatsa S Bhat.
11) Removal of Device Tree parsing for CPU device nodes from multiple
cpufreq drivers that required some changes related to
of_get_cpu_node() to be made in a few architectures and in the

12) cpufreq core fixes and cleanups related to mutual exclusion and

Pull SCSI target fixes from Nicholas Bellinger:
"The first patch is to address a long standing issue where INQUIRY
vendor + model response data was not correctly padded with ASCII
spaces, causing MSFT and Falconstor multipath stacks to not function
with our LUNs.
The second -> forth patches are additional iscsi-target regression
fixes for the post >= v3.10 iser-target changes. The second and third
are failure cases that have appeared during further testing, and the
forth is only reproducible with malformed NOP packets.
The fifth patch is a v3.11 specific regression caused by a recent
optimization that showed up during WRITE I/O failure testing.

Add support for new Intel NTB devices on upcoming Xeon hardware. Since
the Xeon hardware design is already in place in the driver, all that is
needed are the new device ids.
Remove the device IDs for NTB devs running in Transparent Bridge mode,
as this driver is not being used for those devices.
Rename the device IDs for NTB devs running in NTB-RP mode to better
identify their usage model. "PS" to denote the Primary Side of NTB, and
"SS" to denote the secondary side. The primary side is the interface
exposed to the local system, and the secondary side is the interface
exposed to the remote system.

The BWD NTB device will drop the link if an error is encountered on the
point-to-point PCI bridge. The link will stay down until all errors are
cleared and the link is re-established. On link down, check to see if
the error is detected, if so do the necessary housekeeping to try and
recover from the error and reestablish the link.
There is a potential race between the 2 NTB devices recovering at the
same time. If the times are synchronized, the link will not recover and the
driver will be stuck in this loop forever. Add a random interval to the
recovery time to prevent this race.

There is a Xeon hardware errata related to writes to SDOORBELL or
B2BDOORBELL in conjunction with inbound access to NTB MMIO Space, which
may hang the system. To workaround this issue, use one of the memory
windows to access the interrupt and scratch pad registers on the remote
system. This bypasses the issue, but removes one of the memory windows
from use by the transport. This reduction of MWs necessitates adding
some logic to determine the number of available MWs.
Since some NTB usage methodologies may have unidirectional traffic, the
ability to disable the workaround via modparm has been added.

Decrement the number of queues required for doorbell remapping until
the memory is successfully mapped for that size.
Additional checks are done so that we don't call free_irq if it has
already been freed.

Used for going in and out of low power states. Resuming reuses the IO
queues from the previous initialization, freeing any allocated queues
that are no longer usable.

The __clk_get_flags() symbol is exported immediately following the
clk_unprepare_unused_subtree() function. This is unusual, since a symbol
export typically follows body of the function that it exports.

The NVMe spec recommends using the shutdown normal sequence when safely
taking the controller offline instead of hitting CC.EN on the next
start-up to reset the controller. The spec recommends a minimum of 1
second for the shutdown complete. This patch waits 2 seconds to be on
the safe side.

This combines the controller initialization into one function, removing
IO queue setup from namespace discovery, and creates symetric functions
for device removal. The controller start and shutdown functions can now
be called from resume/suspend context as well as probe/remove.

This separates nvme queue allocation from creation, and queue deletion
from freeing. This is so that we may in the future temporarily disable
queues and reuse the same memory when bringing them back online, like
coming back from suspend state.

This patch creates the character device as long as a device's admin queues
are usable so a user has an opprotunity to perform administration tasks.
A device may be in a state that does not allow IO and setting the queue
count feature in such a state returns an error. Previously the driver
would bail and the controller would be unusable.

The 'Number of Namespaces' read from the device was being treated as
signed, which would cause us to not scan any namespaces for a device
with more than 2 billion namespaces. That led to noticing that the
namespace ID was also being treated as signed, which could lead to the
result from NVME_IOCTL_ID being treated as an error code.

Now xfs_dir3_sfe_put_ino has been made static. Revert 98f7462 ("xfs:
xfs_dir3_sfe_put_ino can be static") to being non static so that the
code shared with userspace is identical again.

When CONFIG_NFS_V4_1 is disabled, the calls to nfs4_setup_sequence()
and nfs4_sequence_done() are compiled out for the DELEGRETURN
operation. To allow NFSv4.0 transport blocking to work for
DELEGRETURN, these call sites have to be present all the time.

Anchor an nfs4_slot_table in the nfs_client for use with NFSv4.0
transport blocking. It is initialized only for NFSv4.0 nfs_client's.
Introduce appropriate minor version ops to handle nfs_client
initialization and shutdown requirements that differ for each minor
version.

NFSv4.0 will have need for this functionality when I add the ability
to block NFSv4.0 traffic before migration recovery.
I'm not really clear on why nfs4_set_sequence_privileged() gets a
generic name, but nfs41_init_sequence() gets a minor
version-specific name.

If an NFS client does
mkdir("dir");
fd = open("dir/file");
unlink("dir/file");
close(fd);
rmdir("dir");
then the asynchronous nature of the sillyrename operation means that
we can end up getting EBUSY for the rmdir() in the above test. Fix
that by ensuring that we wait for any in-progress sillyrenames
before sending the rmdir() to the server.

Commit 5ec16a8500d339b0e7a0cc76b785d18daad354d4 introduced a regression
that causes SECINFO to fail without actualy sending an RPC if:
1) the nfs_client's rpc_client was using KRB5i/p (now tried by default)
2) the current user doesn't have valid kerberos credentials
This situation is quite common - as of now a sec=sys mount would use
krb5i for the nfs_client's rpc_client and a user would hardly be faulted
for not having run kinit.
The solution is to use the machine cred when trying to use an integrity
protected auth flavor for SECINFO.
Older servers may not support using the machine cred or an integrity
protected auth flavor for SECINFO in every circumstance, so we fall back
to using the user's cred and the filesystem's auth flavor in this case.
We run into another problem when running against linux nfs servers -
they return NFS4ERR_WRONGSEC when using integrity auth flavor (unless the
mount is also that flavor) even though that is not a valid error for
SECINFO*. Even though it's against spec, handle WRONGSEC errors on SECINFO
by falling back to using the user cred and the filesystem's auth flavor.

Most of the time an error from the credops crvalidate function means the
server has sent us a garbage verifier. The gss_validate function is the
exception where there is an -EACCES case if the user GSS_context on the client
has expired.

We must avoid buffering a WRITE that is using a credential key (e.g. a GSS
context key) that is about to expire or has expired. We currently will
paint ourselves into a corner by returning success to the applciation
for such a buffered WRITE, only to discover that we do not have permission when
we attempt to flush the WRITE (and potentially associated COMMIT) to disk.
Use the RPC layer credential key timeout and expire routines which use a
a watermark, gss_key_expire_timeo. We test the key in nfs_file_write.
If a WRITE is using a credential with a key that will expire within
watermark seconds, flush the inode in nfs_write_end and send only
NFS_FILE_SYNC WRITEs by adding nfs_ctx_key_to_expire to nfs_need_sync_write.
Note that this results in single page NFS_FILE_SYNC WRITEs.

This patch provides the RPC layer helper functions to allow NFS to manage
data in the face of expired credentials - such as avoiding buffered WRITEs
and COMMITs when the gss context will expire before the WRITEs are flushed
and COMMITs are sent.
These helper functions enable checking the expiration of an underlying
credential key for a generic rpc credential, e.g. the gss_cred gss context
gc_expiry which for Kerberos is set to the remaining TGT lifetime.
A new rpc_authops key_timeout is only defined for the generic auth.
A new rpc_credops crkey_to_expire is only defined for the generic cred.
A new rpc_credops crkey_timeout is only defined for the gss cred.
Set a credential key expiry watermark, RPC_KEY_EXPIRE_TIMEO set to 240 seconds
as a default and can be set via a module parameter as we need to ensure there
is time for any dirty data to be flushed.
If key_timeout is called on a credential with an underlying credential key that
will expire within watermark seconds, we set the RPC_CRED_KEY_EXPIRE_SOON
flag in the generic_cred acred so that the NFS layer can clean up prior to
key expiration.
Checking a generic credential's underlying credential involves a cred lookup.
To avoid this lookup in the normal case when the underlying credential has
a key that is valid (before the watermark), a notify flag is set in
the generic credential the first time the key_timeout is called. The
generic credential then stops checking the underlying credential key expiry, and
the underlying credential (gss_cred) match routine then checks the key
expiration upon each normal use and sets a flag in the associated generic
credential only when the key expiration is within the watermark.
This in turn signals the generic credential key_timeout to perform the extra
credential lookup thereafter.

The NFS layer needs to know when a key has expired.
This change also returns -EKEYEXPIRED to the application, and the informative
"Key has expired" error message is displayed. The user then knows that
credential renewal is required.

This change sets the PCI devices' initial DMA capabilities
conservatively and promotes them at the request of the driver,
as opposed to assuming advanced DMA capabilities. The old design

Should check the return value of kzalloc first to avoid the null pointer.
Then can dereference the non-null pointer to access the fields of struct
resource.

This was really only useful for TILE64 when we mapped the
kernel data with small pages. Now we use a huge page and we
really don't want to map different parts of the kernel
data in different ways.
We retain the __write_once name in case we want to bring
it back to life at some point in the future.
Note that this change uncovered a latent bug where the
"smp_topology" variable happened to always be aligned mod 8
so we could store two "int" values at once, but when we
eliminated __write_once it ended up only aligned mod 4.
Fix with an explicit annotation.

This chip is no longer being actively developed for (it was superceded
by the TILEPro64 in 2008), and in any case the existing compiler and
toolchain in the community do not support it. It's unlikely that the
kernel works with TILE64 at this point as the configuration has not been
tested in years. The support is also awkward as it requires maintaining
a significant number of ifdefs. So, just remove it altogether.

The definisions of __ffs(), __fls(), and ffs() for tile are almost same
as asm-generic/bitops-*.h. The only difference is that it is defined
as __always_inline or inline. So this switches to use those headers.
