2012-05-11USB: cdc-wdm: remove from device list on disconnectBjørn Mork
Prevents dereferencing an invalid struct usb_interface pointer. Always delete entry from device list whether or not the rest of the device state cleanup is postponed. The device list uses desc->intf as key, and wdm_open will dereference this key while searching for a matching device. A device should not appear in the list unless probe() has succeeded and disconnect() has not finished. Cc: Oliver Neukum <oliver@neukum.org> Cc: stable <stable@vger.kernel.org> Signed-off-by: Bjørn Mork <bjorn@mork.no> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
2012-05-11USB: cdc-wdm: cannot use dev_printk when device is goneBjørn Mork
We cannot dereference a removed USB interface for dev_printk. Use pr_debug instead where necessary. Flush errors are expected if device is unplugged and are therefore best ingored at this point. Move the kill_urbs() call in wdm_release with dev_dbg() for the non disconnect, as we know it has already been called if WDM_DISCONNECTING is set. This does not actually fix anything, but keeps the code more consistent. 2012-05-11target: Drop incorrect se_lun_acl release for dynamic -> explict ACL conversionNicholas Bellinger
This patch removes some potentially problematic legacy code within core_clear_initiator_node_from_tpg() that was originally intended to release left over se_lun_acl setup during dynamic NodeACL+MappedLUN generate when running with TPG demo-mode operation. Since we now only ever expect to allocate and release se_lun_acl from within target_core_fabric_configfs.c:target_fabric_make_mappedlun() and target_fabric_drop_mappedlun() context respectively, this code for demo-mode release is incorrect and needs to be removed. 2012-05-11PM / Domains: Fix computation of maximum domain off timeRafael J. Wysocki
The default domain power off governor function for generic PM domains, default_power_down_ok(), may violate subdomain maximum off time limit by allowing the master domain to be off for too long. Namely, it only finds the minium of all device maximum off times over the domain's devices and uses that to compute the domain's maximum off time, but it should do the same for the subdomains. Fix this problem by modifying default_power_down_ok() to compute the given domain's maximum off time as the difference between the minimum off time over all devices and subdomains in the domain and its power on latency. 2012-05-11PM / Domains: Fix link checking when add subdomainHuang Ying
Current pm_genpd_add_subdomain() will allow duplicated link between master and slave domain. This patch fixed it. Because when current pm_genpd_add_subdomain() checks whether the link between the master and slave generic PM domain already exists, slave_links instead of master_links of master domain is used. 2012-05-11gpio: samsung: refactor gpiolib init for exynos4/5Olof Johansson
Only code move, no functional change. Main reason to do this was to get rid of the warnings: drivers/gpio/gpio-samsung.c: In function 'samsung_gpiolib_init': drivers/gpio/gpio-samsung.c:2974:1: warning: label 'err_ioremap4' defined but not used [-Wunused-label] drivers/gpio/gpio-samsung.c:2722:47: warning: unused variable 'gpio_base4' [-Wunused-variable] without adding more ifdef mess. I think this whole file would do well being coverted over to a platform driver and moving most of the tables out to SoC code and/or device trees, but since that changes init ordering it needs to be done with some care, i.e. not at this time. 2012-05-11ARM: msm: Drop useless teq from DEBUG_LL supportStephen Boyd
This teq was first introduced in bcc0f6a ([ARM] msm: clean up iomap and devices, 2008-09-10). It seems that DEBUG_LL support on MSM at the time had to remove the virtual mapping for the uart base. Thus when the MMU was enabled the addruart macro returned 0 and the senduart macro would test for 0 and do nothing. It was a simple way to turn off DEBUG_LL when the MMU was enabled. The virtual mapping was added back in 6339f66 (msm: make debugging UART (for DEBUG_LL) configurable, 2009-11-02) but the patch forgot to remove the teq here. So as it stands the teq has been useless for two years and DEBUG_LL works fine without it.
