The C8000 workstation (64 bit kernel only) has a somewhat different
serial port configuration than other models.
Thomas Bogendoerfer sent a patch to fix this in September 2010, which
was now minimally modified by me.

Audio subsystem is introduced in s5pv210 and exynos platforms.
This has seperate clock controller which can control i2s0 and
pcm0 clocks. This patch registers the audio subsystem clocks
with the common clock framework on Exynos family.

Since 18 bit is supported as datawidth in device tree it should be
supported in driver. Beside the LDB channel the IPU channel has also
to be configured to use BGR666.

This adds support for the LVDS Display Bridge contained
in i.MX5 and i.MX6 SoCs.
Bit mapping, data width, and video timings are configurable
via device tree. Dual-channel mode is supported for a single
high-resolution source.

Make sure that we really return -1 (instead of 0x00ff) as node id for
page frame numbers which are not physically available.
This finally fixes the kernel panic when running
cat /proc/kpageflags /proc/kpagecount.
Theoretically this patch now limits the number of physical memory ranges
to 127 instead of 254, but currently we have MAX_PHYSMEM_RANGES
hardcoded to 8 which is sufficient for all existing parisc machines.

cgroup_serial_nr_cursor was created atomic64_t because I thought it
was never gonna used for anything other than assigning unique numbers
to cgroups and didn't want to worry about synchronization; however,
now we're using it as an event-stamp to distinguish cgroups created
before and after certain point which assumes that it's protected by
cgroup_mutex.
Let's make it clear by making it a u64. Also, rename it to
cgroup_serial_nr_next and make it point to the next nr to allocate so
that where it's pointing to is clear and more conventional.

We used root->allcg_list to iterate cgroup hierarchy because at that time
cgroup_for_each_descendant_pre() hasn't been invented.
tj: In cgroup_cfts_commit(), s/@serial_nr/@update_upto/, move the
assignment right above releasing cgroup_mutex and explain what's
going on there.

Even if guest were compiled without SMP support, it could not assume that host
wasn't. So switch to use mb() instead of smp_mb() to force memory barriers for
UP guest.

This patch adds local definitions of required watchdog registers and
bitfields to the uncompress header, allowing to remove the dependency on
plat/regs-watchdog.h header and the ugly hack to replace virtual with
physical addresses.
In addition, it fixes reboot on decompression failure feature, due to
the mentioned ugly hack not working anymore (the macro being redefined
got renamed, without fixing this code).

usb_hub_to_struct_hub() can return NULL in some unlikely cases.
Add checks where appropriate, or pass the hub pointer as an additional
argument if it's known to be valid.
The places it makes sense to check usb_hub_to_struct_hub()
are picked based on feedback from Alan Stern.

fw_priv->buf is accessed in both request_firmware_load() and
writing to sysfs file of 'loading' context, but not protected
by 'fw_lock' entirely. The patch makes sure that access on
'fw_priv->buf' is protected by the lock.
So fixes the double abort problem reported by nirinA raseliarison:

Commit 9ee51f01eee8 (tty: serial/samsung: make register definitions
global) removed the S3C2410_PA_UARTX defines that the newly merged
s3c2416 dt support still expected.
So update mach-s3c2416-dt.c to use the S3C24XX_PA_UART constant until
we have support for the common clock framework the the s3c2416-dt.

Since uart_base can be set dynamically in arch_detect_cpu(), there is no
need to have a copy of all code locally, just to override UART base
address.
This patch removes any duplicate code in uncompress.h variant of s5p64x0
and implements proper arch_detect_cpu() function to initialize UART with
SoC-specific parameters.
While at it, replace hard-coded register address with macro.

For mach-exynos, uart_base is a pointer and the value is calculated
in the machine folder. For other machines, uart_base is defined as
a macro in platform directory. For symmetry, the uart_base macro
definition is removed and the uart_base calculation is moved to
specific machine folders.
This would help us consolidating uncompress subroutine for s5p64x0.

Since Exynos is now supporting only DT-based boot, the old L2X0
initialization code is not needed anymore, so exynos4_l2x0_cache_init()
can be greatly simplified.

irqchip_init(), there is no need for them to exist any more, since this

Joshua reported: Commit cd7b304dfaf1 (x86, range: fix missing merge
during add range) broke mtrr cleanup on his setup in 3.9.5.
corresponding commit in upstream is fbe06b7bae7c.
The reason is add_range_with_merge could generate blank spot.
We could avoid that by searching new expanded start/end, that
new range should include all connected ranges in range array.
At last add the new expanded start/end to the range array.
Also move up left array so do not add new blank slot in the
range array.

So it rejects new var mtrr layout.
It turns out we have some problem with initial mtrr range retrieval.
The current sequence is:
x86_get_mtrr_mem_range
==> bunchs of add_range_with_merge
==> bunchs of subract_range
==> clean_sort_range
add_range_with_merge for [0,1M)
sort_range()
add_range_with_merge could have blank slots, so we can not just
sort only, that will have final result have extra blank slot in head.
So move that calling add_range_with_merge for [0,1M), with that we
could avoid extra clean_sort_range calling.
