The comment and logic in xchk_btree_check_minrecs for dealing with
inode-rooted btrees isn't quite correct. While the direct children of
the inode root are allowed to have fewer records than what would
normally be allowed for a regular ondisk btree block, this is only true
if there is only one child block and the number of records don't fit in
the inode root.

Avoid processing bogus interrupt statuses when the HW is runtime suspended and
the M_CAN_IR register read may get all bits 1's. Handler can be called if the
interrupt request is shared with other peripherals or at the end of free_irq().
Therefore check the runtime suspended status before processing.

Patch 541656d3a513 ("gfs2: freeze should work on read-only mounts") changed
the check for glock state in function freeze_go_sync() from "gl->gl_state
== LM_ST_SHARED" to "gl->gl_req == LM_ST_EXCLUSIVE". That's wrong and it
regressed gfs2's freeze/thaw mechanism because it caused only the freezing
node (which requests the glock in EX) to queue freeze work.
All nodes go through this go_sync code path during the freeze to drop their
SHared hold on the freeze glock, allowing the freezing node to acquire it
in EXclusive mode. But all the nodes must freeze access to the file system
locally, so they ALL must queue freeze work. The freeze_work calls
freeze_func, which makes a request to reacquire the freeze glock in SH,
effectively blocking until the thaw from the EX holder. Once thawed, the
freezing node drops its EX hold on the freeze glock, then the (blocked)
freeze_func reacquires the freeze glock in SH again (on all nodes, including
the freezer) so all nodes go back to a thawed state.
This patch changes the check back to gl_state == LM_ST_SHARED like it was
prior to 541656d3a513.

flexcan_transceiver_enable() during bus-off recovery
If the CAN controller goes into bus off, the do_set_mode() callback with
CAN_MODE_START can be used to recover the controller, which then calls
flexcan_chip_start(). If configured, this is done automatically by the
framework or manually by the user.
In flexcan_chip_start() there is an explicit call to
flexcan_transceiver_enable(), which does a regulator_enable() on the
transceiver regulator. This results in a net usage counter increase, as there
is no corresponding flexcan_transceiver_disable() in the bus off code path.
This further leads to the transceiver stuck enabled, even if the CAN interface
is shut down.
To fix this problem the
flexcan_transceiver_enable()/flexcan_transceiver_disable() are moved out of
flexcan_chip_start()/flexcan_chip_stop() into flexcan_open()/flexcan_close().

"intel_iommu=off" command line is used to disable iommu but iommu is force
enabled in a tboot system for security reason.
However for better performance on high speed network device, a new option
"intel_iommu=tboot_noforce" is introduced to disable the force on.
By default kernel should panic if iommu init fail in tboot for security
reason, but it's unnecessory if we use "intel_iommu=tboot_noforce,off".
Fix the code setting force_on and move intel_iommu_tboot_noforce
from tboot code to intel iommu code.

Older firmware can return rc=0x107 rrc=0xd for destroy page if the
page is already non-secure. This should be handled like a success
as already done by newer firmware.

sysrq-t ends up invoking show_opcodes() for each task which tries to access
the user space code of other processes, which is obviously bogus.
It either manages to dump where the foreign task's regs->ip points to in a
valid mapping of the current task or triggers a pagefault and prints "Code:
Bad RIP value.". Both is just wrong.
Add a safeguard in copy_code() and check whether the @regs pointer matches
currents pt_regs. If not, do not even try to access it.
While at it, add commentary why using copy_from_user_nmi() is safe in
copy_code() even if the function name suggests otherwise.

While powering down, the device may or may not acknowledge an MHI
RESET issued by host for a graceful shutdown scenario and end up
sending an incoming data packet after tasklets have been killed.
If a rogue device sends this interrupt for a data transfer event
ring update, it can result in a tasklet getting scheduled while a
clean up is ongoing or has completed and cause access to freed
memory leading to a NULL pointer exception. Remove the interrupt
handlers for MHI event rings early on to avoid this scenario.

mhi_power_down() does not ensure that the PM state is moved to an
inaccessible state soon enough as the system can encounter
scheduling delays till mhi_pm_disable_transition() gets called.
Additionally, if an MHI controller decides that the device is now
inaccessible and issues a power down, the register inaccessible
state is not maintained by moving from MHI_PM_LD_ERR_FATAL_DETECT
to MHI_PM_SHUTDOWN_PROCESS. This can result in bus errors if a
client driver attempted to read registers when powering down.
Close these gaps and avoid any race conditions to prevent such
activity.

Currently, there exist a set of if...else statements in the
mhi_pm_disable_transition() function which make handling system
error and disable transitions differently complex. To make that
cleaner and facilitate differences in behavior, separate these
two transitions for MHI host.

Current design allows a controller to register with MHI successfully
without the need to have any IRQs available for use. If no IRQs are
available, power up requests to MHI can fail after a successful
registration with MHI. Improve the design by checking for the number
of IRQs available sooner within the mhi_regsiter_controller() API as
it is required to be specified by the controller.

If the host receives a mission mode event and by the time it can get
to processing it, the register accesses fail implying a connectivity
error, MHI should move to an error state. This helps avoid longer wait
times from a synchronous power up perspective and accurately reflects
the MHI execution environment and power management states.

Move MHI to a firmware download error state for a failure to find
the firmware files or to load SBL or EBL image using BHI/BHIe. This
helps detect an error state sooner and shortens the wait for a
synchronous power up timeout.

If an mhi_power_down() is initiated after the device has entered
RDDM and a status callback was provided for it, it is possible
that another BHI interrupt fires while waiting for the MHI
RESET to be cleared. If that happens, MHI host would have moved
a "disabled" execution environment and the check to allow sending
an RDDM status callback will pass when it is should not. Add a
check to see if MHI is in an active state before proceeding.

In some cases, the entry of device to RDDM execution environment
can occur after a significant amount of time has elapsed and a
SYS_ERROR state change event has already arrived. This can result
in scenarios where MHI controller and client drivers are unaware
of the error state of the device. Remove the check for rddm_image
when processing the SYS_ERROR state change as it is present in
mhi_pm_sys_err_handler() already and prevent further activity
until the expected RDDM execution environment change occurs or
the controller driver decides further action.

MHI client drivers can request a device wake even if the device
may be in an error state or undergoing a shutdown. To prevent
unnecessary device wake processing, check for the device state
and bail out early so that the clients are made aware of the
device state sooner.

MHI work is currently scheduled on the global/system workqueue and can
encounter delays on a stressed system. To avoid those unforeseen
delays which can hamper bootup or shutdown times, use a dedicated high
priority workqueue instead of the global/system workqueue.

mhi_fw_load_sbl() function is currently used to transfer SBL or EDL
images over BHI (Boot Host Interface). Same goes with mhi_fw_load_amss()
which uses BHIe. However, the contents of these functions do not
indicate support for a specific set of images. Since these can be used
for any image download over BHI or BHIe, rename them based on the
protocol used.

If MHI is unable to determine the execution environment during
the panic path, host must skip the RDDM download. This can happen
if the BHI offset read or the BHI_EXECENV register read fails
indicating that the underlying transport is unresponsive. Hence,
there is no need to trigger an RDDM using SYSERR or request an
SOC reset.

The mhi_get_exec_env() APIs can be used by the controller drivers
to query the execution environment of the MHI device. Expose it
so it can be used in some scenarios to determine behavior of
controllers.

Some MHI device drivers need to stop the channels in their driver
remove callback (e.g. module unloading), but the unprepare function
is aborted because MHI core moved the channels to suspended state
prior calling driver remove callback. This prevents the driver to
send a proper MHI RESET CHAN command to the device. Device is then
unaware of the stopped state of these channels.
This causes issue when driver tries to start the channels again (e.g.
module is reloaded), since device considers channels as already
started (inconsistent state).
Fix this by allowing channel reset when channel is suspended.

This is a generic MHI-over-PCI controller driver for MHI only devices
such as QCOM modems. For now it supports registering of Qualcomm SDX55
based PCIe modules. The MHI channels have been extracted from mhi
downstream driver.
This driver is for MHI-only devices which have all functionalities
exposed through MHI channels and accessed by the corresponding MHI
device drivers (no out-of-band communication).

The BHI_MSMHWID and BHI_OEMPKHASH macros take a value 'n' which is
a BHI register index. If 'n' is an expression rather than a simple
value, there can be an operator precedence issue which can result
in the incorrect calculation of the register offset. Adding
parentheses around the macro parameter can prevent such issues.

There is double acquisition of the pm_lock from mhi_driver_remove()
function. Remove the read_lock_bh/read_unlock_bh calls for pm_lock
taken during a call to mhi_device_put() as the lock is acquired
within the function already. This will help avoid a potential
kernel panic.

Commit e0d072782c73 ("dma-mapping: introduce DMA range map, supplanting
dma_pfn_offset") introduced a regression in our code since the second
backed to probe will now get -EINVAL back from dma_direct_set_offset and
will prevent the entire DRM device from probing.
Ignore -EINVAL as a temporary measure to get it back working, before
removing that call entirely.

There is really no point having an auto-start for channels.
This is confusing for the device drivers, some have to enable the
channels, others don't have... and waste resources (e.g. pre allocated
buffers) that may never be used.
This is really up to the MHI device(channel) driver to manage the state
of its channels.
While at it, let's also remove the auto-start option from ath11k mhi
controller.

To start stack unwinding (SP, PC and BLINK) are needed. When the
explicit execution context (pt_regs etc) is not available, unwinder
assumes the task is sleeping (in __switch_to()) and fetches SP and BLINK
from kernel mode stack.
But this assumption is not true, specially in a SMP system, when top
runs on 1 core, there may be active running processes on all cores.
So when unwinding non courrent tasks, ensure they are NOT running.
And while at it, handle the self unwinding case explicitly.
This came out of investigation of a customer reported hang with
rcutorture+top

Commit 2284ffea8f0c ("powerpc/64s/exception: Only test KVM in SRR
interrupts when PR KVM is supported") removed KVM guest tests from
interrupts that do not set HV=1, when PR-KVM is not configured.
This is wrong for HV-KVM HPT guest MMIO emulation case which attempts
to load the faulting instruction word with MSR[DR]=1 and MSR[HV]=1 with
the guest MMU context loaded. This can cause host DSI, DSLB interrupts
which must test for KVM guest. Restore this and add a comment.

Checking for ifdef CONFIG_x fails if CONFIG_x=m.
Use IS_ENABLED instead, which is true for both built-ins and modules.
Otherwise, a
> ip -4 route add 1.2.3.4/32 via inet6 fe80::2 dev eth1
fails with the message "Error: IPv6 support not enabled in kernel." if
CONFIG_IPV6 is `m`.

The code refactoring of ILT configuration was not complete, the old
unused variables were used for the SRC block. That could lead to the memory
corruption by HW when rx filters are configured.
This patch completes that refactoring.

Add missing define of ALIGN_DOWN to make the test build and run. In
addition, __sg_alloc_table_from_pages now support unaligned maximum
segment, so adapt the test result accordingly.

When skb has a frag_list its possible for skb_to_sgvec() to fail. This
happens when the scatterlist has fewer elements to store pages than would
be needed for the initial skb plus any of its frags.
This case appears rare, but is possible when running an RX parser/verdict
programs exposed to the internet. Currently, when this happens we throw
an error, break the pipe, and kfree the msg. This effectively breaks the
application or forces it to do a retry.
Lets catch this case and handle it by doing an skb_linearize() on any
skb we receive with frags. At this point skb_to_sgvec should not fail
because the failing conditions would require frags to be in place.
