This patch enables ADC filtering on UCB1400 codec by default. The
benefit from this change is mostly on some Colibri boards where
the ADCSYNC pin of the UCB1400 codec isn't connected causing the
touchscreen to jitter very badly. This change has no visible
effect on boards where the ADCSYNC pin is connected.

When suid is set and the non-owner user has write permission, any writing
into this file should be allowed and suid should be removed after that.
However, current kernel only allows writing without truncations, when we
do truncations on that file, we get EPERM. This is a bug.
Steps to reproduce this bug:
% ls -l rootdir/file1

% echo h > rootdir/file1

In case a downconvert is queued, and a flock receives a signal,
BUG_ON(lockres->l_action != OCFS2_AST_INVALID) is triggered
because a lock cancel triggers a dlmunlock while an AST is
scheduled.
To avoid this, allow a LKM_CANCEL to pass through, and let it
wait on __dlm_wait_on_lockres().

The drm sysfs class suspend / resume methods could not distinguish
between different device types wich could lead to illegal type casts.
Use struct device_type and make sure the class suspend / resume callbacks
are aware of those. There is no per device-type suspend / resume. Only
new-style PM.

There is missing name for NFSSync cluster lock. This makes lockdep unhappy

The absence of vmlinux.lds here keeps .vmlinux.lds.cmd from being
included, which in turn leads to it and all its dependents always
getting rebuilt independent of whether they are already up-to-date.

- blk clk is enabled when an irq arrives. The clk should be enabled,
but just to make sure.
- All error bits are handled no matter state machine state
- All irq's will run complete() except for irq's that wasn't an event.
- No more looking into status registers just in case an interrupt
has happend and the irq handle wasn't executed.
- irq_disable/enable are now separete functions.
- clk settings calculation changed to round upwards instead of
downwards.
- Number of address send attempts before giving up is increased to 12
from 10 since it most times take 8 tries before getting through.

Silicon Errata 1.153 has been fixed on OMAP 3630|4430 with the use of a later
version of I2C IP block.
The errata impacts OMAP 2420|2430|3430, enable the workaround for these based
on I2C IP block revision number instead of OMAP CPU type

I2C status ack for [RX]RDR and [RX]RDY could
cause race conditions of clearing the event
twice and a violation of the programing

Configures DMA sync mode depending on McBSP operating mode value.
The value is configurable by McBSP instance. So, depending
on McBSP operating mode, the DMA sync mode is passed from
omap-mcbsp to omap-pcm. Besides that, it also configures
McBSP threshold value depending on which McBSP mode is activated.

This patch changes the way DMA is done in omap-pcm.c
in order to reduce power consumption. There is no need
to have so much SW control in order to have DMA in idle
state during audio streaming. Configuring McBSP threshold value
and DMA to FRAME_SYNC are sufficient.

All these steps are required for ASoC to behave correctly.
rccr and xccr are format dependent, for example TDM audio
has different values than I2S or DSP_A. Also the
omap_mcbsp_xmit_enable and/or omap_mcbsp_recv_enable must
be called right after the DMA has started.
This provides no longer L and R channels switching at random.

The device no longer hits retention if element DMA
mode is taken for at least the duration of the
serial console timeout. Force element DMA mode to
shut down through smartidle.

When no-idle mode is taken, wakeups need not to be enabled.
Moreover, CLOCKACTIVITY bits are unnecessary with this mode

FCLK may get autogated so that it prevents the McBSP
to work properly. It is the bit 9 that must be set
for maintaining the McBSP FCLK.

This patch enables the smart idle mode while
McBPS is being utilized. Once it's done,
force idle mode is taken instead. Apart of it,
it also configures what signals will wake mcbsp up.

It adds a new sysfs file, where the user can configure the mcbsp mode to use.
If the mcbsp channel is in use, it does not allow the change.
Than in omap_pcm_open we can call the omap_mcbsp_get_opmode to get the mode,
store it, than use it to implement the different modes.

Do not allow applications to use the full buffer found on
McBSP1,3,4,5. Using the full buffer in threshold mode causes
the McBSP buffer to run dry, which can be observed as channels
are switching (in reality the channels are shifting).

Increasing startup delay value as worst case:
CLKSRG*2 = 8000khz: (1/8000) * 2 * 2 usec
Although, 100us may give enough time for two CLKSRG,
due to some unknown PM related, clock gating etc. reason,
this patch increases it to 500us.

ASoC has an annoying bug letting either L or R channel to be
played on L channel. In other words, L and R channels can
switch at random. This provides McBSP funtionality that may
be used to fix this feature.

Without the check, the config space may be filled with zeros. Though
the driver should try to avoid call restoring before saving, but the
pci layer also should check this.
Also removes the existing check in pci_restore_standard_config, since
it's superfluous with the new check in restore_state.

The current PCM core has the following problems regarding PCM draining
in non-blocking mode:
- the current f_flags isn't checked in snd_pcm_drain(), thus changing
the mode dynamically via snd_pcm_nonblock() after open doesn't work.
- calling drain in non-blocking mode just return -EAGAIN error, but
doesn't provide any way to sync with draining.
This patch fixes these issues.
- check file->f_flags in snd_pcm_drain() properly
- when O_NONBLOCK is set, PCM core sets the stream(s) to DRAIN state
but quits ioctl immediately without waiting the whole drain; the
caller can sync the drain manually via poll()

When ibm_newemac netdev instance is shutdown with "ifconfig down",
the netdev interface does not go properly down. netif_carrier_ok()
keeps returning TRUE even after "ifconfig down".
The problem can be seen when ibm_newemac instances are slaves of
a bonding interface. The bonding interface code uses netif_carrier_ok()
to determine the link status of its slaves. When ibm_newemac slave is
shutdown with "ifconfig down", the bonding interface won't detect any
link status change because netif_carrier_ok() keeps returning TRUE.

The alignment calculation of xcbc_tfm_ctx uses alg->cra_alignmask
and not alg->cra_alignmask + 1 as it should. This led to frequent
crashes during the selftest of xcbc(aes-asm) on x86_64
machines. This patch fixes this. Also we use the alignmask
of xcbc and not the alignmask of the underlying algorithm
for the alignmnent calculation in xcbc_create now.

What about something like this? It defaults the CPRNG to m and makes FIPS
dependent on the CPRNG. That way you get a module build by default, but you can
change it to y manually during config and still satisfy the dependency, and if
you select N it disables FIPS as well. I rather like that better than making
FIPS a tristate. I just tested it out here and it seems to work well. Let me

load_percpu_segment() is used to set up the per-cpu segment registers,
which are also used for -fstack-protector. Make sure that the
load_percpu_segment() function doesn't have stackprotector enabled.
