The ASoC core assumes that the PCM component of the ASoC card transparently
moves data around and does not impose any restrictions on the memory layout or
the transfer speed. It ignores all fields from the snd_pcm_hardware struct for
the PCM driver that are related to this. Setting these fields in the PCM driver
might suggest otherwise though, so rather not set them.

If CONFIG_PM_SLEEP=n, CONFIG_PNP=y we get this warning:

This seems to have been introduced in a2fa3fb0d 'tpm: convert tpm_tis driver
to use dev_pm_ops from legacy pm_ops'
Also, unpon reviewing, the #ifdefs around tpm_tis_pm are not right, the first
reference is protected, the second is not. tpm_tis_pm is always defined so we
can drop the #ifdef.

This consolidates everything that is only used within tpm-dev.c
into tpm-dev.c and out of the publicly visible struct tpm_chip.
The per-file allocation lays the ground work for someday fixing the
strange forced O_EXCL behaviour of the current code.

The tpm core now sets up and controls all sysfs attributes, instead
of having each driver have a unique take on it.
All drivers now now have a uniform set of attributes, and no sysfs
related entry points are exported from the tpm core module.
This also uses the new method used to declare sysfs attributes
with DEVICE_ATTR_RO and 'struct attribute *'

CLASS-sysfs.c is a common idiom for linux subsystems.
This is the first step to pulling all the sysfs support code from
the drivers into tpm-sysfs. This is a plain text copy from tpm-interface
with support changes to make it compile.
_tpm_pcr_read is made non-static and is called tpm_pcr_read_dev.

CLASS-dev.c is a common idiom for Linux subsystems
This pulls all the code related to the miscdev into tpm-dev.c and makes it
static. The identical file_operation structs in the drivers are purged and the
tpm common code unconditionally creates the miscdev.

The 'get_burstcount' function can in some circumstances 'return -EBUSY' which
in tpm_stm_i2c_send is stored in an 'u32 burstcnt'
thus converting the signed value into an unsigned value, resulting
in 'burstcnt' being huge.
Changing the type to u32 only does not solve the problem as the signed
value is converted to an unsigned in I2C_WRITE_DATA, resulting in the
same effect.
Thus
-> Change type of burstcnt to u32 (the return type of get_burstcount)
-> Add a check for the return value of 'get_burstcount' and propagate a
potential error.
This makes also sense in the 'I2C_READ_DATA' case, where the there is no
signed/unsigned conversion.

Depending on the implementation strcmp might return the difference between
two strings not only -1,0,1 consequently
if (strcmp (a,b) == -1)
might lead to taking the wrong branch
-> compare with < 0 instead,
which in any case is more canonical.

Commit 5901b6be885e attempted to introduce IPv6 support into
IRC NAT helper. By doing so, the following code seemed to be removed
by accident:

This leads to the fact that buffer[] was left uninitialized and
contained some stack value. When we call nf_nat_mangle_tcp_packet(),
we call strlen(buffer) on excatly this uninitialized buffer. If we
are unlucky and the skb has enough tailroom, we overwrite resp. leak
contents with values that sit on our stack into the packet and send
that out to the receiver.
Since the rather informal DCC spec [1] does not seem to specify
IPv6 support right now, we log such occurences so that admins can
act accordingly, and drop the packet. I've looked into XChat source,
and IPv6 is not supported there: addresses are in u32 and print
via %u format string.
Therefore, restore old behaviour as in IPv4, use snprintf(). The
IRC helper does not support IPv6 by now. By this, we can safely use
strlen(buffer) in nf_nat_mangle_tcp_packet() and prevent a buffer
overflow. Also simplify some code as we now have ct variable anyway.

When we look to see if there is enough space to add a dir
entry without allocation, we have then been repeating the
same search later when we do the actual insertion. This
patch caches the details of the location in the gfs2_diradd
structure, so that we do not have to repeat the search.
This will provide a performance improvement which will be
greater as the size of the directory increases.

There are three cases where we need to calculate the number of
blocks to reserve in a transaction involving linking an inode
into a directory. The one in rename is a bit more complicated,
but the basis of it is the same as for link and create. So it
makes sense to move this calculation into a single function
rather than repeating it three times.

The intent is that this structure will hold the information
required when adding entries to a directory (linking). To
start with, it will contain only the number of blocks which
are required to link the new entry into the directory. The
current calculation returns either 0 or the maximim number of
blocks that can ever be requested by such a transaction.
The intent is that in a later patch, we can update the dir
code to calculate this value more accurately. In addition
further patches will also add further fields to the new
structure to increase its utility.
In addition this patch fixes a bug where the link used during
inode creation was adding requesting too many blocks in
some cases. This is harmless unless the fs is close to being
full.

50 us is not a long enough delay between EC transactions. At least 70 us
are needed for the 16 MHz STM32L part. Increase the delay to 200 us for
an extra safety margin.

All OMAP IP blocks expect LE data, but CPU may operate in BE mode.
Need to use endian neutral functions to read/write h/w registers.
I.e instead of __raw_read[lw] and __raw_write[lw] functions code
need to use read[lw]_relaxed and write[lw]_relaxed functions.
If the first simply reads/writes register, the second will byteswap
it if host operates in BE mode.
Changes are trivial sed like replacement of __raw_xxx functions
with xxx_relaxed variant.
