2011-12-28ext4: flush journal when switching from data=journal modeYongqiang Yang
It's necessary to flush the journal when switching away from data=journal mode. This is because there are no revoke records when data blocks are journalled, but revoke records are required in the other journal modes. However, it is not necessary to flush the journal when switching into data=journal mode, and flushing the journal is expensive. So let's avoid it in that case. 2011-12-28genetlink: add auto module loadingStephen Hemminger
When testing L2TP support, I discovered that the l2tp module is not autoloaded as are other netlink interfaces. There is because of lack of hook in genetlink to call request_module and load the module. Signed-off-by: Stephen Hemminger <shemminger@vyatta.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2011-12-28ipv6: Remove optimistic DAD flag test in ipv6_add_addr()David Miller
The route we have here is for the address being added to the interface, ie. for input packet processing. Therefore using that route to determine whether an output nexthop gateway is known and resolved doesn't make any sense. So, simply remove this test, it never triggered anyways. 2011-12-28net: fec: Adjust ENET MDIO timeoutsRogerio Pimentel
On extensive NFS boots on a mx6qsabrelite board it was noted that "FEC: MDIO read timeout" were occuring, which caused failure on loading the FEC driver. The original FEC_MII_TIMEOUT was set to 1 ms, which is too low when passed to the usecs_to_jiffies macro. On ARM one jiffy is 10ms, so use a timeout of 30ms, which corresponds to 3 jiffies. After running extensive NFS boots, the MDIO timeouts do not occur anymore with this change. 2011-12-28ARM: mxs: select HAVE_CLK_PREPARE for clockShawn Guo
This patch adds clk_prepare/clk_unprepare for mxs clock api by renaming the existing non-atomic clk_enable/clk_disable to clk_prepare/clk_unprepare and adding a pair of dummy clk_enable/clk_disable. Then with selecting HAVE_CLK_PREPARE for mxs clock, we can fix the mutex locking warning that has been reported for a few times. Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawn.guo@linaro.org>

2011-12-27Input: add driver for AUO In-Cell touchscreens using pixcir ICsHeiko Stübner
Some displays from AUO have a so called in-cell touchscreen, meaning it is built directly into the display unit. Touchdata is gathered through PIXCIR Tango-ICs and processed in an Atmel ATmega168P with custom firmware. Communication between the host system and ATmega is done via I2C. Devices using this touch solution include the Dell Streak5 and the family of Qisda ebook readers. The driver reports single- and multi-touch events including touch area values.
