2014-06-01perf ui/gtk: Fix callchain displayNamhyung Kim
With current output field change, GTK browser cannot display callchain information correctly since it couldn't determine where the symbol column is. This is a problem - just for now I changed to use the last column since it'll work for most cases. Also it has a same problem of the percentage as stdio code. 2014-06-01perf ui/stdio: Fix invalid percentage value of cumulated hist entriesNamhyung Kim
On stdio, there's a problem that it shows invalid values for callchains in cumulated hist entries. It's because it only cares about the self period. But with --children behavior, we always add callchain info to the cumulated entries so it should use the value in that case. 2014-06-01perf ui/hist: Add support to accumulated hist statNamhyung Kim
Print accumulated stat of a hist entry if requested. To do that, add new HPP_PERCENT_ACC_FNS macro and generate a perf_hpp_fmt using it. The __hpp__sort_acc() function sorts entries by accumulated period value. 2014-06-01perf tools: Introduce struct hist_entry_iterNamhyung Kim
There're some duplicate code when adding hist entries. They are different in that some have branch info or mem info but generally do same thing. So introduce new struct hist_entry_iter and add callbacks to customize each case in general way. The new perf_evsel__add_entry() function will look like: iter->prepare_entry(); iter->add_single_entry(); while (iter->next_entry()) iter->add_next_entry(); iter->finish_entry(); This will help further work like the cumulative callchain patchset. 2014-06-01ASoC: fsl-ssi: Fix baudclock handlingMarkus Pargmann
The baudclock may be used and set by different streams. Allow only the first stream to set the bitclock rate. Other streams have to try to get to the correct rate without modifying the bitclock rate using the SSI internal clock modifiers. The variable baudclk_streams is introduced to keep track of the active streams that are using the baudclock. This way we know if the baudclock may be set and whether we may enable/disable the clock. baudclock enable/disable is moved to hw_params()/hw_free(). This way we can keep track of the baudclock in those two functions and avoid a running clock while it is not used. As hw_params()/hw_free() may be called multiple times for the same stream, we have to use baudclk_streams variable to know whether we may enable/disable the clock. 2014-06-01ASoC: Intel: byt/hsw: Add missing kthread_stop to error/cleanup pathImre Deak
Baytrail and Haswell SST IPC don't stop the kernel thread in error and cleanup path thus leaving orphan kernel thread behind in such a case. Also while at it, fix one error path in sst-haswell-ipc.c that doesn't free hsw->msg. 2014-06-01ASoC: tlv320aci3x: Fix custom snd_soc_dapm_put_volsw_aic3x() functionPeter Ujfalusi
For some unknown reason the parameters for snd_soc_test_bits() were in wrong order: It was: snd_soc_test_bits(codec, val, mask, reg); /* WRONG!!! */ while it should be: snd_soc_test_bits(codec, reg, mask, val); Signed-off-by: Peter Ujfalusi <peter.ujfalusi@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@linaro.org> Cc: stable@vger.kernel.org
2014-06-01spi/pxa2xx: fix runtime PM enabling orderAntonio Ospite
In commit 7dd62787334ac6e0e2a0ef3f20bb1936ac431b04 (spi/pxa2xx: Convert to core runtime PM) master->auto_runtime_pm was set to true. In this case pm_runtime_enable() must be called *before* spi_register_master(), otherwise the kernel hangs with this error message: spi_master spi0: Failed to power device: -13 A similar fix, but for spi/hspi, was applied in 268d76430d1b68c340687357ffd18b4b12d02269. 2014-05-31Bluetooth: Fix requiring SMP MITM for outgoing connectionsJohan Hedberg
Due to recent changes to the way that the MITM requirement is set for outgoing pairing attempts we can no longer rely on the hcon->auth_type variable (which is actually good since it was formed from BR/EDR concepts that don't really exist for SMP). To match the logic that BR/EDR now uses simply rely on the local IO capability and/or needed security level to set the MITM requirement for outgoing pairing requests. Included changes: - prevent NULL dereference in multicast code Antonion Quartulli says: ==================== pull request net: batman-adv 20140527 here you have another very small fix intended for net/linux-3.15. It prevents some multicast functions from dereferencing a NULL pointer. (Actually it was nothing more than a typo) I hope it is not too late for such a small patch. ==================== Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
