The target allows you to create rules in the "raw" and "mangle" tables which set the skbuff mark by means of hash calculation within a given range. The nfmark can influence the routing method (see "Use netfilter MARK value as routing key") and can also be used by other subsystems to change their behaviour. This patch adds the flags parameter to ipv6_find_hdr. This flags allows us to: * know if this is a fragment. * stop at the AH header, so the information contained in that header can be used for some specific packet handling. This patch also adds the offset parameter for inspection of one inner IPv6 header that is contained in error messages. However it is not always true, since sched_groups preallocated in __sdt_alloc are initialized in build_sched_groups and it may exit early if (cpu != cpumask_first(sched_domain_span(sd))) return 0; without initializing sd->groups->next field. Fix bug by initializing next field right after sched_group was allocated. 2012-05-09HID: wiimote: Fix IR data parserDavid Herrmann
We incorrectly parse incoming IR data. The extra byte contains the upper bits and not the lower bits of the x/y coordinates. User-space expects absolute position data from us so this patch does not break existing applications. On the contrary, it extends the virtual view and fixes garbage reports for margin areas of the virtual screen. The regulators in the twl4030 can provide some voltage settings that are not offically supported. These settings are disabled by default, but can be enabled with CONFIG_TWL4030_ALLOW_UNSUPPORTED=y However - that config variable is not mentioned in any Kconfig so cannot be used, and - a global setting is clumsy - a per regulator setting would be better. So define a new 'feature' flag that a board file can set to enable these unsupported volatages for boards which need them. This flag cannot (yet) be set using device-tree. 2012-05-09ALSA: HDA: Lessen CPU usage when waiting for chip to respondDavid Henningsson
When an IRQ for some reason gets lost, we wait up to a second using udelay, which is CPU intensive. This patch improves the situation by waiting about 30 ms in the CPU intensive mode, then stepping down to using msleep(2) instead. In essence, we trade some granularity in exchange for less CPU consumption when the waiting time is a bit longer. As a result, PulseAudio should no longer be killed by the kernel for taking up to much RT-prio CPU time. At least not for *this* reason. 2012-05-09OMAPDSS: DSI: implement generic DSI pin configTomi Valkeinen
In preparation for device tree, this patch changes how the DSI pins are configured. The current configuration method is only doable with board files and the configuration data is OMAP specific. This patch moves the configuration data to the panel's platform data, and the data can easily be given via DT in the future. The configuration data format is also changed to a generic one which should be suitable for all platforms. The new format is an array of pin numbers, where the array items start from clock + and -, then data1 + and -, and so on. For example: { 0, // pin num for clock lane + 1, // pin num for clock lane - 2, // pin num for data1 lane + 3, // pin num for data1 lane - ... } The pin numbers are translated by the DSI driver and used to configure the hardware appropriately. Section 9.23.3.5 of IEEE 80211s standard describes the protection rules for HT mesh STA in a MBSS. Three HT protection modes are supported for now: non-HT mixed mode - is selected if any non-HT peers are present in our MBSS. 20MHz-protection mode - is selected if all peers in our 20/40MHz MBSS support HT and atleast one HT20 peer is present. no-protection mode - is selected otherwise. This is a limited implementation of 9.23.3.5, which only considers mesh peers when determining the HT protection mode. Station's channel_type needs to be maintained. Since the BSS table is organized in a RB tree, the BSSs need to be comparable. This means that we must define a < and > operator to the BSS object. compare_ethr_addr isn't enough since it returns only a binary value. Since Felix's cfg80211: use compare_ether_addr on MAC addresses instead of memcmp Because of the constant size and guaranteed 16 bit alignment, the inline compare_ether_addr function is much cheaper than calling memcmp. 2012-05-08brcmfmac: add out of band interrupt supportFranky Lin
Some sdio host controllers do not support real in band interrupt. Software polling mode as a replacement is not fast enough for high throughput and new features. Also some in band interrupts do not support host wake up on embedded platform even when they are real physical interrupts. Therefore out of band (oob) interrupt mechanism is implemented for these scenarios. To provide oob irq number and flags used for irq registration in brcmfmac, a platform device contains irq resource must be registered in board specific code.
