The renesas_usbhs driver doesn't use the clk functions. So, even if we adds "CLKDEV_DEV_ID("renesas_usbhs.0", ...)" only, we cannot use the USB controller because clk_late_init() will disable the clock by "usb0". 2012-01-09ARM: mach-shmobile: Flush caches in platform_cpu_die()Magnus Damm
Add cache flushing code to the SH-Mobile specific CPU hotplug implementation. While at it, add a cpu mask to make sure the cache flushing code is finished in platform_cpu_die() before letting the SoC-specific code in shmobile_platform_cpu_kill() proceed with turning off power. Convert the low level SMP assembly code for SH-Mobile ARM from using the INIT to the CPUINIT section. This unbreaks onlining of CPUs using the CPU hotplug interface: echo 1 > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu1/online Without this fix the reset vector code used by CPU hotplug will be freed as init section data and CPU cores cannot be brought online. 2012-01-09ARM: mach-shmobile: r8a7779 and Marzen base support V2Magnus Damm
Initial support for the r8a7779 SoC and the Marzen board (V2). Only SCIF ports and the TMU are supported at this point. To keep things simple only entity-mapped virt-to-phys mappings are supported. This forces drivers and other SoC glue code to make use of ioremap(). We cannot support early serial console due to virtual address space collisions with the ARM kernel. 2012-01-09mfd: Unify abx500 headers in mfd/abx500Linus Walleij
This moves all the header files related to the abx500 family into a common include directory below mfd. From now on we place any subchip header in that directory. Headers previously in e.g. <linux/mfd/ab8500/gpio.h> get prefixed and are now e.g. <linux/mfd/abx500/ab8500-gpio.h>. The top-level abstract interface remains in <linux/mfd/abx500.h>. 2012-01-08C6X: fix timer64 initializationMark Salter
Some SoCs have a timer block enable controlled through the DSCR registers. There is a problem in the timer64 driver initialization where the code accesses a timer register to get the divisor used to calculate timer clock rate. If the timer block has not been enabled when this register read takes place, an exception is generated. This patch makes sure that the timer block is enabled before accessing the registers.
