Isolate the Basic Mode Control Register (BMCR) operations in the ksz8795
driver by moving the BMCR-related code segments from the ksz8_r_phy()
and ksz8_w_phy() functions to newly created ksz8_r_phy_bmcr() and
ksz8_w_phy_bmcr() functions.

Add LED support for QCA8081 PHY.
Documentation for this LEDs PHY is very scarce even with NDA access
to Documentation for OEMs. Only the blink pattern are documented and are
very confusing most of the time. No documentation is present about
forcing the LED on/off or to always blink.
Those settings were reversed by poking the regs and trying to find the
correct bits to trigger these modes. Some bits mode are not clear and
maybe the documentation option are not 100% correct. For the sake of LED
support the reversed option are enough to add support for current LED
APIs.
Supported HW control modes are:
- tx
- rx
- link_10
- link_100
- link_1000
- link_2500
- half_duplex
- full_duplex
Also add support for LED polarity set to set LED polarity to active
high or low. QSDK sets this value to high by default but PHY reset value
doesn't have this enabled by default.
QSDK also sets 2 additional bits but their usage is not clear, info about
this is added in the header. It was verified that for correct function
of the LED if active high is needed, only BIT 6 is needed.

Add support for PHY LEDs polarity modes. Some PHY require LED to be set
to active low to be turned ON. Adds support for this by declaring
active-low property in DT.
PHY driver needs to declare .led_polarity_set() to configure LED
polarity modes. Function will pass the index with the LED index and a
bitmap with all the required modes to set.
Current supported modes are:
- active-low with the flag PHY_LED_ACTIVE_LOW. LED is set to active-low
to turn it ON.
- inactive-high-impedance with the flag PHY_LED_INACTIVE_HIGH_IMPEDANCE.
LED is set to high impedance to turn it OFF.

A potential string truncation was reported in bnx2x_fill_fw_str(),
when a long bp->fw_ver and a long phy_fw_ver might coexist, but seems
unlikely with real-world hardware.
Use scnprintf() to indicate the intent that truncations are tolerated.
While reading this code, I found a collection of various buffer size
counting issues. None looked like they might lead to a buffer overflow
with current code (the small buffers are 20 bytes and might only ever
consume 10 bytes twice with a trailing %NUL). However, early truncation
(due to a %NUL in the middle of the string) might be happening under
likely rare conditions. Regardless fix the formatters and related
functions:
- Switch from a separate strscpy() to just adding an additional "%s" to
the format string that immediately follows it in bnx2x_fill_fw_str().
- Use sizeof() universally instead of using unbound defines.
- Fix bnx2x_7101_format_ver() and bnx2x_null_format_ver() to report the
number of characters written, not including the trailing %NUL (as
already done with the other firmware formatting functions).
- Require space for at least 1 byte in bnx2x_get_ext_phy_fw_version()
for the trailing %NUL.
- Correct the needed buffer size in bnx2x_3_seq_format_ver().

Make MediaTek MT753x DSA driver enable MediaTek Gigabit PHYs driver to
properly control MT7530 and MT7531 switch PHYs.
A noticeable change is that the behaviour of switchport interfaces going
up-down-up-down is no longer there.
Now, the switch can be used without the PHYs but, at the moment, every
hardware design out there that I have seen uses them. For that, it would
make the most sense to force the selection of MEDIATEK_GE_PHY for the MDIO
interface which currently controls the MT7530 and MT7531 switches.

changed a netdev_err() to netdev_WARN_ONCE().
netdev_WARN_ONCE() is it generates a kernel WARNING, which is bad, for
the following reasons:
* You do not a kernel warning if the firmware queries are late
* In busy networks, timestamp query failures fairly regularly
* A WARNING message doesn't bring much value, since the code path
is clear.
(This was discussed in-depth in [1])
Transform the netdev_WARN_ONCE() into a netdev_warn_once(), and print a
more well-behaved message, instead of a full WARN().

The function to add an interface may be called without a previous
removal if the HW is being reconfigured. As such, only add the symlink
if the hardware is not being reconfigured due to a HW_RESTART.

The storage for the TLV PC register data wasn't done like all
the other storage in the drv->fw area, which is cleared at the
end of deallocation. Therefore, the freeing must also be done
differently, explicitly NULL'ing it out after the free, since
otherwise there's a nasty double-free bug here if a file fails
to load after this has been parsed, and we get another free
later (e.g. because no other file exists.) Fix that by adding
the missing NULL assignment.

The wiphy_work infra ensures that the entire worker will run
with the wiphy mutex. It is useful to have RX handlers
running as a wiphy_work, when we don't want the handler to
run in parallel with mac80211 work (to avoid races).
For example - BT notification can disable eSR starting from the next
patch.
In ieee80211_set_active_links we first check that eSR is
allowed, (drv_can_activate_links) and then activate it.
If the BT notif was received after drv_can_activate_links
(which returned true), and before the activation - eSR will be
activated when it shouldn't.
If BT notif is handled with the wiphy mutex, it can't run in
parallel to ieee80211_set_active_links, which also holds that
mutex.
Add the necessary infrastructure here, for use in the next commit.

Without SMP the function is just a stub that returns an error code. Add
a compile time check for CONFIG_SMP in the interest of not logging an
error if setting affinity is not possible anyway.

There's either the pldr_sync case, in which case we didn't want
or do the retry loops anyway, or things will just continue to
fail. Remove the retry loop that was added in a previous attempt
to address the issue that was later (though still a bit broken)
addressed by the pldr_sync case.

If the STEP (the interface between MAC and PHY) is in URM
(a lower speed mode) then we cannot use 320 MHz MCS > 9.
Therefore, limit the MCS in our capabilities in this case.
Note that this also limits the TX/rate scaling since that
takes both TX and RX capabilities into account.

PHY loopback turns off link state change signalling. Therefore, the
loopback only works if the link is already up before the PHY loopback is
activated.
Ensure that PHY loopback works even if the link is not already up during
activation by calling netif_carrier_on() explicitly.

Previously, each caller of gve_rx_alloc_buffer had to increase counter
and as a result one caller was not tracking those failure. Increasing
counters at a common location now so callers don't have to duplicate
code or miss counter management.

The nfp driver will merge the tp source port and tp destination port
into one dword which the offset must be zero to do hardware offload.
However, the mangle action for the tp source port and tp destination
port is separated for tc ct action. Modify the mangle action for the
FLOW_ACT_MANGLE_HDR_TYPE_TCP and FLOW_ACT_MANGLE_HDR_TYPE_UDP to
satisfy the nfp driver offload check for the tp port.
The mangle action provides a 4B value for source, and a 4B value for
the destination, but only 2B of each contains the useful information.
For offload the 2B of each is combined into a single 4B word. Since the
incoming mask for the source is '0xFFFF<mask>' the shift-left will
throw away the 0xFFFF part. When this gets combined together in the
offload it will clear the destination field. Fix this by setting the
lower bits back to 0xFFFF, effectively doing a rotate-left operation on
the mask.

The nfp offload flow pay will not allocate a mask id when the out port
is openvswitch internal port. This is because these flows are used to
configure the pre_tun table and are never actually send to the firmware
as an add-flow message. When a tc rule which action contains ct and
the post ct entry's out port is openvswitch internal port, the merge
offload flow pay with the wrong mask id of 0 will be send to the
firmware. Actually, the nfp can not support hardware offload for this
situation, so return EOPNOTSUPP.

For a skb frag with a newly allocated copy page, the true size is
incorrectly set to packet buffer size. It should be set to PAGE_SIZE
instead.

The peer delete logic in ath11k_mac_op_unassign_vif_chanctx() is
introduced by commit b4a0f54156ac ("ath11k: move peer delete after
vdev stop of station for QCA6390 and WCN6855") to fix firmware
crash issue caused by unexpected vdev stop/peer delete sequence.
Actually for a STA interface peer should be deleted in
ath11k_mac_op_sta_state() when STA's state changes from
IEEE80211_STA_NONE to IEEE80211_STA_NOTEXIST, which also coincides
with current peer creation design that peer is created during
IEEE80211_STA_NOTEXIST -> IEEE80211_STA_NONE transition. So move
peer delete back to ath11k_mac_op_sta_state(), also stop vdev before
deleting peer to fix the firmware crash issue mentioned there. In
this way the connection failure mentioned here is also fixed.

Currently ath11k_mac_start_vdev_delay() needs a forward declaration because
it is defined after where it is called. Avoid this by re-arranging
ath11k_mac_station_add() and ath11k_mac_op_sta_state().
No functional changes. Compile tested only.

In ath11k_mac_op_assign_vif_chanctx(), there is a logic to
create peer using ar->mac_addr for a STA vdev. This is invalid
because a STA vdev should have a peer created using AP's
MAC address. Besides, if we run into that logic, it means a peer
has already been created earlier, we should not create it again.
So remove it.
This is found during code review.

Currently 32 bit DMA mask is used, telling kernel to get us an DMA
address under 4GB when mapping a buffer. This results in a very high
CPU overhead in the case where IOMMU is disabled and more than 4GB
system memory is installed. The reason is, with more than 4GB memory
installed, kernel is likely to allocate a buffer whose physical
address is above 4GB. While with IOMMU disabled, kernel has to involve
SWIOTLB to map/unmap that buffer, which consumes lots of CPU cycles.
We did hit an issue caused by the reason mentioned above: in a system
that disables IOMMU and gets 8GB memory installed, a total of 40.5%
CPU usage is observed in throughput test. CPU profiling shows nearly
60% of CPU cycles are consumed by SWIOTLB.
By enabling 36 bit DMA mask, we can bypass SWIOTLB for any buffer
whose physical address is below 64GB. There are two types of DMA mask
within struct device, named dma_mask and coherent_dma_mask. Here we
only enable 36 bit for dma_mask, because firmware crashes if
coherent_dma_mask is also enabled, due to some unknown hardware
limitations. This is acceptable because coherent_dma_mask is used for
mapping a consistent DMA buffer, which generally does not happen in
a hot path.
With this change, the total CPU usage mentioned in above issue drops
to 18.9%.

Currently the MDIO bus of the switches the MT7530 DSA subdriver controls
can only be registered as non-OF-based. Bring support for registering the
bus OF-based.
The subdrivers that control switches [with MDIO bus] probed on OF must
follow this logic to support all cases properly:
No switch MDIO bus defined: Populate ds->user_mii_bus, register the MDIO
bus, set the interrupts for PHYs if "interrupt-controller" is defined at
the switch node. This case should only be covered for the switches which
their dt-bindings documentation didn't document the MDIO bus from the
start. This is to keep supporting the device trees that do not describe the
MDIO bus on the device tree but the MDIO bus is being used nonetheless.
Switch MDIO bus defined: Don't populate ds->user_mii_bus, register the MDIO
bus, set the interrupts for PHYs if ["interrupt-controller" is defined at
the switch node and "interrupts" is defined at the PHY nodes under the
switch MDIO bus node].
Switch MDIO bus defined but explicitly disabled: If the device tree says
status = "disabled" for the MDIO bus, we shouldn't need an MDIO bus at all.
Instead, just exit as early as possible and do not call any MDIO API.
The use of ds->user_mii_bus is inappropriate when the MDIO bus of the
switch is described on the device tree [1], which is why we don't populate
ds->user_mii_bus in that case.

The fill ring of the XDP socket may contain not enough buffers to
completey fill the RX queue during socket creation. In this case the
flag XDP_RING_NEED_WAKEUP is not set as this flag is only set if the RX
queue is not completely filled during polling.
Set XDP_RING_NEED_WAKEUP flag also if RX queue is not completely filled
during XDP socket creation.

The RX data buffer includes the FCS. The FCS is already stripped for the
normal data path. But for the XDP data path the FCS is included and
acts like additional/useless data.
Remove the FCS from the RX data buffer also for XDP.

In fjes_hw_setup, it allocates several memory and delay the deallocation
to the fjes_hw_exit in fjes_probe through the following call chain:
fjes_probe
|-> fjes_hw_init
|-> fjes_hw_setup
|-> fjes_hw_exit
However, when fjes_hw_setup fails, fjes_hw_exit won't be called and thus
all the resources allocated in fjes_hw_setup will be leaked. In this
patch, we free those resources in fjes_hw_setup and prevents such leaks.

Now that i40e driver correctly sets up frag_size in xdp_rxq_info, let us
make it work for ZC multi-buffer as well. i40e_ring::rx_buf_len for ZC
is being set via xsk_pool_get_rx_frame_size() and this needs to be
propagated up to xdp_rxq_info.
